Here's my DMing setup. @tacticaltokens and @yarrostudios Immersive Battle Maps is all I really need. I'm setting up a dire encounter against a vampire set in this graveyard map from the book. Plenty of beastly enemies for my players to fight through from Tactical Drops #1 and #2. Just look at that dire wolf riding goblin! But why are all the undead inside already defeated? You can tell because the tokens in the chapel are all flipped to thier gray sides. Or is it all a ruse? Contents: - 4x6 photo case to hold about 100 blank, color, and printed tokens. - Immersive Battle Maps book - Pack of erasable markers - Notebook - Dicebag - Dice tray - Tablet or Laptop The battle map book might not fit completely in my backpack but neither does a roll up blank battle mat. At least Immersive Battle Maps is an entire book of awesome pre-drawn maps and battlescapes. The photo case full of tokens weighs less than a pound and packs a gargantuan punch on the battlefield. The markers work on both the tokens and book so I don't worry about damaging either. Throw the necessary pdfs or @dndbeyond on the tablet to cover all my rules needs.
