What if one day I ran out of chapstick and I kiss him and he doesn't feel the tingle anymore? Will he freak out? Brain shot circuit? Thinks that he's desensitized to kissing me? It's not special anymore? Mental breakdown? :(

Anyways, I think at first he’d be a little confused cause he’s just gotten so used to it. So the first time you kiss him without it, it throws off everything and he just needs a second to process? Like, he just keeps waiting for the tingle to come. When it’s been too long for it he starts to question it.

Again, he didn’t put too much thought into it, didn’t think it could’ve been the chapstick you were wearing because it just crossed his mind. So he comes up to you and explains that “the tingle is gone.”

Now, I’m picturing that he didn’t really express his thought process for one reason or another, so maybe it gets a little chuckle out of you, and then you ask about it. He repeats “the tingle. It’s gone.”, and eventually you get it out of him that your chapstick makes his lips tingle when you kiss him.

Now whether you decide to explain it to him or not, after some moping from him maybe you get some more because even though it’s such a small thing, it brings Leon some joy, and the poor guy needs it. Like he really really needs it.

Personally though, if I was in a situation that was that endearing, I probably couldn’t tell him the truth and just make up something to appease him until I could get more.

The sudden reaction of the resolute pink-haired girl made the petite priestess’ face went blank for a moment, since she didn’t expect the axe would come off so easily from its pedestal; with a large swing, Hilda aimed at the wooden door and with a decisive hit, the axe was struck inside the ancient wood, being stuck for several moments that seemed like an eternity for both the girls, waiting with bated breath.

Sakura observed all the sequence of the events with eager eyes, ultimately she fixated her glance on the axe seemingly trapped into the wooden door, yet, a sudden echo resounded from behind the door and as a magical spell, the wooden passage suddenly opened with a shrieking sound, leaving Hilda the time to unstuck the axe from the door.

Soon after, the petite priestess was catapulted inside the short hallway right after the wooden door, her hand intertwined with the one of Hilda, who was fretting towards what it seemed to be the exit of the maze, finally; pace after pace, the couple was out in the fresh and chill air of the night –was already that late, huh? How many hours did they spend inside the dungeons? Better not thinking about it… Sakura thought to herself as she finally set pace on the solid and familiar ground of the monastery, facing the soft cold breeze of the late evening. After that, she turned towards Hilda, who as well seemed very relieved to be out of that hellish place.

“I’m sorry..” she felt bad for having involved the poor girl into her curiosity once again, but at the same time, she was utterly pleased to have had her by her side, despite all the terrible happenings in the underground. “But I’m really glad you were down there with me” she confessed, staring at the axe still held in Hilda’s hands. “And at least you came up with a very good treasure, in the end” she giggled, softly, placing a placid smile on her lips and sharing a last gaze with her fearless partner, knowing for sure that she would always be by her side, for these kind of adventures –or that was what she always hoped, in her heart.

now that my brain has somewhat unscrambled itself i have gotten most of my thoughts in order about season 3.

and the first thing i will say is: i loved it.

while it was gutwrenching and polarizing in some ways and i feel that i am entitled to financial compensation for what its done to my mental health, i loved this season for pretty much almost everything it did.

i cannot fault people for having issues with much of the characterization and plot choices made—that’s been the trend during the entire run of the show after all, and imo it’s a testament to the phenomenal way it generates nuance—but i wanted to share my feelings on the recurring opinions i’ve seen about some of these things.

first, i do not blame simon at all for the things he said in the final scene. he’s a child who has been receiving endless verbal and physical harassment on top of all the trauma he is still trying to heal from. he just watched his boyfriend lash out in anger and hurt—while not at him, but it must’ve been a close resemblance of how he might’ve seen micke act. at least, that's what i thought, though i've seen others say otherwise.

and yes, wille is not micke, but just because wille’s source of outbursts is different from micke’s doesn’t mean simon is wrong in drawing similarities. at least he's finally getting a true glimpse into what wille has had to deal with. i've honestly grown to like that they didn't have simon immediately comfort him though; wille's mental illness is not his fault, but it is his responsibility, and instead of pushing a message of unhealthy co-dependence, the show has simon be honest: "but i see that everything hurts you and that hurts me too." and to me, that's so important.

plus, it doesn't make their love any less genuine. wille is a victim of the circumstances; he is not evil, and he is not undeserving of simon. he just has a lot of growing and healing to do, a lot of unlearning and exposure therapy because he's still blinded by privilege even when he tries not to be.

speaking of, i have so many thoughts about wille that i feel like i need to save for its own separate post, but to sum them up: i'll still defend him with my life, and he needs to get the fuck away from that institution.

also, the fact that the responsibility of controlling simon's media decisions was placed solely on wille confused me at first like—why wouldn't they get a professional to give him proper media training?

then i realized, this could be the royal court's way of sabotaging their relationship. they knew that making wille the one to tell simon what he can and cannot say or post would create distance and animosity between them. despite the ramifications of simon's behavior on social media, it seems they still thought it best to have his boyfriend be the one to try to mold him into the system. because they knew that's how they could get rid of him. in conclusion, fuck the royal court (we been knew but still).

one of the standouts this season was their transparency regarding the show's politics. it not only works well with the show's arc (wilmon is public, everything's out in the open now and there's nothing to hide), but also it felt necessary at a time where censorship has been rapidly gaining momentum. it felt so refreshing for these characters to talk so openly about racial discrimination and queerphobia and class disparities, forcing both character and viewer to acknowledge that they exist and you should feel uncomfortable about it.

i don't think i can add much more to what was already said about it—most of the fandom is more eloquent and observant than i am anyway—i just wanted to reinforce how important this season is to myself and the story even with how controversial it is to fans right now. a lot of people may disagree with me and that's fine.

My current version, of my ever-evolving theory, on what constitutes "aromantic stories" is that first off, there's absolutely a wide spectrum between 1, "this is explicitly undeniably about aromanticism," and 2, "there sure is a noteworthy amount of aro subtext, but representing aros clearly wasn't the author's intent." But the spectrum is best completed not as a straight line, but as a triangle, where the 3rd point is "the story probably wasn't created with aromanticism at the forefront of anyone's mind, but was created with subverting particular expectations related to romantic relationships in mind." And in my experience, a lot of juicy aromanticism-related experiences that are underrepresented in their own right can lie in that third option, regardless of whether the characters are aro-spec or allo or kind of whatever you headcanon.

So, what does make a story on this spectrum "aromantic?" IDK, I wouldn't necessarily include all or most of the firm 2s (unintentional subtext) under the aromantic story mantle. But when you get into the gray areas that inch a little closer to 1 and 3, let alone the gray area between 1 and 3 where intent is ambiguous but ultimately may not matter, it makes sense that different people will have different takes.

my very convoluted thought process! enjoy some word vomit! i was especially indecisive on her haircut and how to incorporate some glitz and glamour :/

she’s not as fancy (i.e. jewelry and expensive clothes) as i would’ve wanted her to be :( but i looove tomboy nami a lot so i still really like her outfit

the nami on the left is more of a restyling meant to stay pretty close to her canon design, just so that i could gauge what it was about her og look that i did and didn’t like :0

i’m a little angry at myself for keeping the bikini bra, cause i’ve seen really cool nami designs that aren’t blatantly “sexy” and make her a cooler outfit with a garment other than a bra. but also! she’s chubby! she’s transfem! she’s a lesbian! she’s a criminal! let her be sexy! for the ladies! and for herself! that’s cheesy but idk that’s my thoughts on it

i also think the teal aviator jacket is pretty ingenious! i guess i kinda wanted to give her a similar vibe to kiki from kiki’s delivery service. like how kiki’s both a mail delivery girl and a witch, and now nami’s both a pilot and a witch! idk… does that make sense??? i just have this very vivid imagine in my brain of nami using the clima tact like a broom to fly… but that’s what zeus is for…? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
