People on r/PWHL LOVE to dramatically ask, "she's apologized! She hasn't posted anything else! What more could you people possibly want from her? What could she do to make you stop hating her?" like there aren't a ton of charities or even just basic ass lgbt posts or posts from black history month or whatever the fuck that she could share/retweet that would do a tiny miniscule amount to undo the things she's advocated for in the past and show she's open to being a better person. And if she participated in some kind of charity thing related to what she's tweeted against for five minutes or took a selfie at a pride celebration or something? Literally soooooo many people would shut up and stop bothering to talk shit about her, even if they'd never like her.

People on r/PWHL also love to pretend that being friends with a gay teammate somehow means that clearly that person isn't bigoted and is totally chill and everyone's being horrible to poor Britta for no reason

i saw someone in youtube comments say they didn't understand why Hanush talked to Henry as if he was just a peasant after he'd done so much & another who agreed that it felt strange/awkward, and that was really interesting to me because when i got to that scene i kind of like... perceived Henry as being frustrated, and in turn found myself feeling frustrated with him because well, he is just a peasant.

even after all he's done, at the end of the day he is still nothing more than a blacksmith to those in power. a royal bastard blacksmith, but an illegitimate royal bastard blacksmith; and to me at least, what can only be described as disrespect from Hanush, is supposed to serve as a reminder of that. that even after everything Henry has done not just for his lord (capon/radzig to an extent) but for the common people, he still has no authority. he is still just Henry of Skalitz.
