The Brainworms are eating me alive so I need to talk about the Calamity Gems and their associated Traits
(Below will be a lot of probably incoherent words, spoilers for Amphibia (mostly S2), and The Brainworms. You've been warned.)
Okay okay okay, disclaimer: I'm relatively new to the Amphibia fandom, so if you read this and go, "Bro, literally everyone already knows that" then cut me some slack. That being said, I've been sitting on some of these concepts since I watched the Temple episodes a month or so ago and I'm very excited to share my madman ramblings with the classâ
As y'all already know, the Temples go Wit, then Heart, then Strength, yeah yeah old news, right? Okay, here's the new parts:
Marcy, our Wit, was tested for the Trait of Wit, yes, but also the secondary Trait of Humility. Humility, as in the ability to put put aside your pride and "lower your standards", so to speak. Humility, the ability to look past your pride and connect to others. Sounding familiar?
Anne, our Heart, was tested for her Heart, but also for her sense of Responsibility. Her ability to look her mistakes in the face and say, "Yeah, those are mine." Her ability to take accountability for her actions, and to be accountable for the well-being of others. Y'all can maybe start to see where this is going?
Sasha, our Strength, was tested for her Trait of Strength, and her Trait of Persistence. Bear with me, we're stretching a little bit here. Persistence is the ability to, well, Persist. To keep going, whether there are people who believe in you or not (although it certainly helped that, in Sasha's case, people did have her back). Persistence isn't exactly near-synonymous with Wit like the other two pairs, but the two are inherently linkedâ that's why the First Temple had to test the Marcy's willingness to give up for the sake of others, because it's in her nature as the 'Star' of Wit to Persist No Matter What (more on that another time 'cause it's a Fun topic)
So, if y'all haven't guessed by now, I'm sure that last one made it obvious: what I'm suggesting is that each Temple tested its Star for a secondary Trait linked to the next Temple in the cycle. Put simplerâ Marcy was tested for Heart in the Wit Temple, Anne was tested for Strength in the Heart Temple, and Sasha was tested for Wit in the Strength Temple. It's a circle!! (Triangle, really, but whatever)
Part of why I came to this conclusion was also because of the arcs of the Calamity Trio throughout all of that Temple business, as well as before/after it. This was the section of the story where Anne was learning to stand up for herself and bite back when people try to intimidate her into doing things she doesn't want, continuing from the S1 finale with Sasha. This was the section of the story where Marcy was being forced to acknowledge that she tends to treat people like NPCs and slowly learning how to actually form genuine connections with others in Amphibia. Sasha's a little bit harder to pin down given that she only got two episodes before showing up at the Third Temple, but we know for a fact that Sasha "Queen of Manipulation" Waybright already had Wit to an extentâ I think that what we see instead in "Toadcatcher" and "Barrel's Warhammer" is her acquiring Persistence by pushing herself harder and harder in training after losing Anne and giving up greater prices for the sake of her goals (which causes her to lose Percy and Braddock). This pattern of acquisition also, interestingly enough, seems to carry through to the S3 arcs as well, and by the finale all three girls seem to each have their own full set of Traitsâ but I'm not gonna ramble about that, I can do that in another post.
I think I've done a decent job of explaining myself here? But I'm gonna drop some assorted thoughts to see if I can make this more cohesive, because I analyse specific word choices way too much:
Heart is a value based on connecting to people, on seeing them and being there for them and loving them come Hell or high water. It's only natural that, when looking for a true Star to represent it, you need to make sure that they have the Strength to take Responsibility for their mistakes, and that they can handle the Responsibility of protecting the people they care about.
Strength is based on brute force, on fighting tooth and nail and being a steady 'rock' someone can depend on. So, if you want to rely on someone, you need to know that they have Persistence, that they're never going to give up when they commit to something, and that they're Clever enough to find a way to succeed in their goals.
Wit is based on mind over matter, on finding creative ways past obstacles, on solving every puzzle and never giving up on their drive to know more. But if you let someone drive themself to borderline-obsession with their passion for knowledge, you need to know that they have Humility. Why Humility, you ask? Humility is considered the opposite of Pride, the quality of being grounded and humble. Humility serves an anchor for when you're too lost in the maze of puzzles, of learning about everything, of knowing more and more until the world around you starts to blur together into meaningless faces. In Amphibia (the show), Humility is mainly seen in the connections that people make with each other, the friends and family someone is willing to drop everything to protectâ it's the Heart that makes them truly Human (or Amphibian)
So, I'm gonna cut myself off here before I continue on trying to endlessly justify my thoughts to an imaginary audience in increasingly irrational waysâ
But! If anyone reading thisâ my dear non-imaginary audience that I am very grateful forâ has any questions at all, even if it's just, "Bro what the hell are you on?" I'd love to hear it! Because I'd be happy to further explain anything if needed. I know there are a lot of times where I don't make much sense when rambling đ

DIABOLIK LOVERS MORE, BLOOD OFFICIAL VISUAL FANBOOK ăŒ Interview Vol. 1 feat. Saki Ito
Source: DIABOLIK LOVERS MORE, BLOOD Official Visual Fanbook
Release date: 2013
Huge thank you to @keithvalentinexâ for providing the raw scans!
SECTION 1: Q&A
Q1. How did you feel when a sequel game got green light?
A: Not only were we fortunate to receive many passionate messages and feedback from the players, but we also received the news of an anime adaption alongside a game sequel, so amidst the joy, I also remember a distinct feeling of responsiblity and pressure.
Q2. Does the feedback you received from the players reflect in any parts of the game?
A: The series features characters who all have very strong and distinct character traits, so they tend to stand out based solely on these specific elements, which is what made us reflect upon the scenario parts of the previous game. Therefore, in the sequel, we decided to flesh them out so we let Idea Factory know that we would like to create sceranioâs on events of their pasts, so we can give a better understanding of how they think as individuals. We received a positive response but this ultimately required quite a bit of scenarios so later both me and Nakamura suffered because of it. (lol) However, even though there is still room for improvement, I would like to think that we succeeded in creating scenarioâs in which the players will get to know them on a deeper level.
Q3. Who did you struggle most with when creating the setting for the new characters?
A: Ruki. Both in terms of design and personality. At first we thought of having him be on an almost equal footing with Karlheinz in terms of power and status, so basically the character who stands at the very top of the Mukami family, with everyone following his lead as they have no other choice but to acknowledge his superiority . But heâs a Do-S...We played with various ideas like that.
Q4. What did the process of creating these characters look like?
A: After settling on their visuals and personalities, we moved on to building a set image of them. I was impressed that at the time of initial recording where we would add the voices to these characters, there was already an agreement amongst the production staff about how they viewed these brothers inside their minds.Â
Q5. Were there any moments during the recording which left a strong impression on you?
A: I am sure everyone feels the same in this regard, but I was very much impressed by Midorikawa Hikaru (Ayatoâs VA) and his ability to voice a single line in so many different ways and apply minor adjustment time after time. I was baffled how the same phrase could be voiced in so many different ways, and while this may be embarrassing to admit as part of the production staff, I felt as if I could learn a lot from him.
Q6. How did you approach the blood-sucking scenes?
A: We start by creating a fixed image inside our heads of how each character would suck someoneâs blood. However, we initially opted to leave things up to the casted voice actors. We figured that if their voicing was somewhat off from how we envisioned it, we would guide them into the desired direction afterwards, but so far that has yet to happen! The voice actors seem to understand that the blood-sucking scenes are a huge selling point of the Diabolik Lovers franchise, so they anticipated on this and had already thought about which personal quirks they want to include in these scenes before the recording. Afterwards they would tell us things such as âI wanted to make it sound a little dirtyâ or âI imagined ____ would suck blood like thisâ, showing us their effort to voice these characters while thinking about their personalities, which is why we - the production staff - were able to feel the unique traits of these boys through their performance as well, I believe. I cannot express with words just how greatful I am for everyoneâs excellent voice work.Â
Q7. When writing the scenarioâs and the character dialogue, were there any conscious changes you made from the first game?
A: In the first game, there were very little interactions between the different characters, but with the introduction of the Mukami brothers, we focused on these kind of interactions where one of the Sakamaki brothers would fight with one of the Mukami brothers. Additionally, this would allow for us to express the changes in their feelings towards the main character.
Q8. What did you struggle the most with while writing the script?
A: There were just so many different scenarios to write, I recall feeling as if there was no end to it. Every time you think youâre done adjusting one part, you have to move on to the next and by the time youâre done with that, something just doesnât feel right about the first scenario again...This game includes many scenarios about the charactersâ pasts so there would be times where we suddenly went â...Hold on!? I feel like the previous scene doesnât quite make sense anymore...,â So weâd have to go back and make sure everything remained consistent.
Q9. Which character caused you the most problems while writing the script?
A: Every single one. In case of the Sakamaki brothers, all because of the same reason. For starters, despite this being a sequel game, the intial setting remains the same as before with the main character having arrived at the Sakamaki manor, , so we were worried whether or not the audience would accept this without it feeling weird or off. The Mukami brothers are then added on top of that, so we struggled a lot expressing the wavering feelings of the main character. Each of the Mukami brothers has their own dark past and setting which we came up with beforehand, so it was very difficult to then later add the element of romance to this.
Q10. Is there a character who underwent drastic changes compared to the last game?
A: No. Although the âMORE, BLOODâ games feature the Sakamaki brothers struggling with an immense âthirst for bloodâ which is different from our previous approach, so we hope this allows the players to enjoy a different side of them.
Q11. The endings are now named âVampire Endingâ, âManservant Endingâ and âBruteâ Ending. Could you tell us what kind of thought you put into these names?
A: They do each have their own fixed image attached to them. We divided them into the âVampire Endingâ which is supposed to be the most natural ending. The âManservant Endingâ which emphasizes the element of sadism the strongest and lastly the âBrute Endingâ which is the most violent. Depending on the character, there might be minor changes such as the main character developing sadistic tendencies herself or it being another character who grows violent. We hope the audience will enjoy this wide array of endings.
Q12. What are parts which have greatly improved or parts you want us to focus on in comparison to the first game?
A: My apologies for repeating myself, but it would have to be the scenarios. Also please pay attention to the upgraded sprite artwork for everyone, as well as the addition of the sprites for the brothers as children!
Q13. Why do you think the series has received such a great amount of support?
A: During the development of the first set of CDs, we made them with a specific niche audience in mind, so never did we expect the franchise would grow this large. We truly are grateful. We would like to believe that Satoi-samaâs illustration are the biggest contributor in this case. I was already acquaintanced with Satoi-sama at that point but due to certain circumstances, we werenât able to work on a project together. However, when the development for Diabolik Lovers started, I immediately reached out to her. I believe that the way she draws these Do-S Vampires as handsome guys is what the fans enjoy the most!
Q14. Please leave a message for the fans.
A: First of all, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. If it wasnât for you guysâ reactions, we wouldnât have been able to deliver this much content. I wonât go as far as to tell you to continue to loving âDIABOLIK LOVERSâ and its characters forever...! Even if itâs somewhere in the very back of your mind, Iâd be happy if you could at least hold onto the fond memories of these characters. Honestly, thank you so so much.
SECTION 2: THEIR FAVORITE EPISODES
Sakamaki brothers: Laitoâs Vampire Ending. It conveys that feeling of loving someone, yet still keeping you on the edge of your seat as he doesnât quite fully want to admit to his own feelings, even though you can tell that he does properly love the main character, which made me feel joyful inside.
Mukami brothers: Rather than one specific scene, I loved the interactions between the Mukami brothers. When they are all enjoying a meal together, they would fight over the food, or Kou would make a fuss because he wants to eat Vongole Bianco. I found it cute how they would talk in a way youâd expect from normal high school boys.Â
SECTION 3: SAKI ITO CHOOSES ăŒ SITUATION-DEPENDENT CHARACTER SELECT
Who would you choose in these situations? Whatâs the developerâs opinion?
S1. To sleep together with?
Best: Shuu, he probably wouldnât bother me.
Worst: Reiji, he seems like the type to get upset if you donât keep perfectly still while sleeping.
S2. To go on a trip together with?
Best: Ruki, I feel like he would come fully prepped.Â
Worst: Azusa, I wouldnât be able to enjoy my trip if I get hurt because of him.
S3. To eat together with?
Best: Shuu, I feel like our eating styles would match.
Worst: Reiji, Iâd constantly feel nervous.
S4. To study with?
Best: Ruki, I feel like heâd be able to explain things in a comprehensive manner.
Worst: Laito because he might just blow air into my ear all of a sudden.
S5. To go on a date with?
Best: Kou, he probably knows all the good places so it could be fun.
Worst: Kanato, I canât stand the thought of him suddenly lashing out at me.
S6. To play a video game with?
Best: Yuma, I feel like he wouldnât be the best at it, but itâd still be enjoyable regardless.
Worst: Subaru, he would destroy the console!
S7. To play sports with?
Best: Kou, I can imagine his sweat sparkling in the light as it bounces off him.
Worst: Reiji, he seems stiff.
S8. To go on a drive with?
Best: Ayato, it just seems fun.
Worst: Yuma, he strikes me as a speed devil.Â

October was a month filled with so many (good) things and moments in my academic and personal life. That being said, my life was more busy and honestly hectic than itâs ever been before. October often marks midterm season in the college world, which meant a few papers and writing assignments on my end, including having to start drafting my first of two senior research papers. I know I havenât been too specific about my senior project for my English major (honestly Iâm still working out my subtopics and arguments even with my 15-20 page draft in the works), but I can reveal that Iâm talking about Angie Thomasâ The Hate U Give! Iâve luckily read a decent amount of contemporary literature in my English courses, but this is my first time studying YA.
Between also balancing my course-load alongside my jobs and social time (trying to make the most of my last year living with all of my best friends), my brain has been feeling fried and not exactly in the mood to read at the end of the day. Probably also not helping my reading life, I watched so many great new TV shows this month.
I really wish I was reading more, but Iâm at the point where I have to dedicate my free time to the aforementioned things. However, I 100% admit that my senioritis is definitely kicking in and Iâve been finding myself drifting to blogging and reading when I should probably be doing school work. I think itâs also because itâs almost (!!!) the end of the year and Iâve been working on my favorites, yearly wrap-up, and holiday-themed posts, but Iâve been so in the mood to read lately because of all the new books coming out still this year (Iâm looking at you, The Toll and The Queen of Nothing.
The Chase by Elle Kennedy | 4/5 Stars
I was so excited to jump back into the Off-Campus world with The Chase. Although itâs not my favorite Elle Kennedy book, I loved having Fitz as one of the protagonists.
The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh | 4/5
The most Halloween-esque book that I read in October, I enjoyed The Beautiful for its atmospheric setting and for the fact that it broke my usual reading habits with its paranormal and mysterious story.
10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston (ARC) | 4/5
October marks Christmas season prep in the Fangirl Fury handbook, which further encouraged me to pick up 10 Blind Dates. 10 Blind Dates was a fun holiday mood read. I really enjoyed its family focus.
Full Disclosure by Camyrn Garrett (ARC) | 3/5
I appreciated that Full Disclosure took on a ton of important topics, as its main protagonist lives with HIV. While I appreciated its mature discussions surrounding sex and sexuality, I wasnât a big fan of the writing style and plot.
Crierâs War by Nina Varela | 5/5
Hands-down my favorite book of the month, I absolutely loved Crierâs War for its unique world and fantastic character and story arcs.
The Politician S1 (Netflix)- Hands-down one of my favorite TV shows of the year, The Politician stole my heart in October. Itâs such a quirky show and honestly feels like a blend of Ryan Murphyâs other shows (Glee, AHS, and American Crime Story). I freaking loved Ben Platt (which led me to also being addicted to his album, Sing to Me Instead this month) and the overall cast. The show luckily came out during my fall break, which meant that I was able to binge-watch all 8 episodes before heading back to school.
Insatiable S2 (Netflix)- My guilty pleasure show the month, Insatiable season 2 was definitely more dramatic and crazy, but somehow much more developed than the first season. This show is totally not the best, especially in light of all the controversy, but it is a fun watch for me personally.
Schittâs Creek S1 (Netflix)- I started watching Schittâs Creek over the summer, but I struggled getting into it. My best friend (and lets be honest, Twitter) encouraged me to get back into and Iâm absolutely loving it. David is for sure my favorite character.
Modern Love (Prime)- Towards the end of October, I flip-flopped between watching Schittâs Creek and Amazonâs new show based on the Modern Love column. My favorite episodes are âWhen the Doorman is Your Main Manâ and âWhen Cupid Is a Prying Journalist.â
Youâve Got Mail-Â I 100% admit that I am still confused over the fact that English major and lifelong reader me did not watch Youâve Got Mail until 2019. ITâS A MOVIE ABOUT BOOKSTORE RIVALS!!! I absolutely love movies from the 80s and 90s, and Youâve Got Mail was no exception.
Isnât It Romantic? â One of the funniest rom-coms Iâve seen lately, I absolutely loved the cast (Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth, & Adam DeVine) and it made me laugh out loud so much.

My life happenings section always flips between monthly fangirl news or my IRL happenings, and todayâs a mixture of both!
IRLÂ
Lucyâs Deli on Sixth- Iâm in the city twice a week for class this semester, so my friends and I try to do New York things on our lunch breaks and after class. I was on Twitter one weekend earlier in October and Jess from The Book Bratz shared a photo of a stuffed/felt avocado from a pop-up shop in Rockefeller Center, Lucyâs Delicatessen on 6th. This pop-up was set up like a grocery store and featured hand-sewn and felt food. My friend and I went on our lunch break that week and we had so much fun looking at ALL the cute things.
Fall-themed Saturday- Iâm always wanting to do seasonal things, so I was really excited when my best friend and I decided to spend a Saturday afternoon at a local farm. We had a mini photo shoot (okay, it wasnât that mini or spur-of-the-moment, I came prepared with my Canon) in a pumpkin patch and then we went apple-picking. This was my first time apple-picking and while its near the end of the season where I live, the orchard was really beautiful. I think all the apples I picked were honey crisp, which I used the next day to make an apple pie.
Fangirl Things
10 Things I Hate About Pinky Cover Reveal- The cover for Sandhya Menonâs second book of 2020, 10 Things I Hate About Pinky, is officially out in the world! I love how much it compliments her other books, and Iâm just so excited for this one and Of Curses and Kisses.
10 Things I Hate About Pinky cover reveal Sandhya Menon Credit: Simon & Schuster Childrenâs Publishing
More details about Sarah J. Maasâ Crescent Cityâ I havenât been able to find Sarah J. Maasâ full panel on Crescent City from New York Comic Con â19, but Kristin of SuperSpaceChick included a clip of the panel in her NYCC Haul. I highly recommend checking out Kristinâs entire video! Anyway, SJM revealed more about the plot than she has ever have before. In shot, picture the ACOTAR universe set 3,000 years in the future (yes that means cell phones and cars), every paranormal and mythological creature possible, a party and half-Fae girl who finds herself involved in a murder investigation, and true to SJM, steam/romance.
Let It Snow Trailer- Iâm just generally excited for Netflixâs holiday movie line-up, but I feel like Iâve been waiting for the Let It Snow adaptation for forever! This book was one of the first YA books Iâve ever picked up and while I probably need a reread, Iâm excited to see it on the screen come November 8th.
Ninth House/the Alex Stern series is being turned into a TV show-Â While much attention in the Leigh Bardugo TV-world has been on the Netflix Grishaverse adaptation, it was recently announced that Ninth House will be adapted into a TV show by Amazon, with Leigh attached as the writer and executive producer. Since Ninth House is officially my favorite Leigh Bardugo book, I am so looking forward to seeing this show come to life!
What did you read and watch in October? Share in the comments!

RSI Comm-Link: Q&A: Anvil Hawk
Q&A: Anvil Hawk
Greetings Citizens,
Below are answers to the most voted for questions in our Spectrum Q&A Thread we posted last week. Thank you for taking the time to submit your questions and voting for the ones you care about most.
Also, special thanks to Calix Reneau, Kirk Tome, and Steven Kam for their help in answering your questions.
Can we swap the holding cell for other equipment?
No, the holding cell in the Hawk is integrated specifically into its design. The Hawk is a small, focused ship. In general, modularity in engineering implies a bunch of things, including piping and plumbing, structural loadbearing, and bunch of other considerations designed to handle different equipment of varied capabilities. That stuff doesnât come free in terms of weight, cost, or complexity, hence why not every internal space is just automatically modular by nature.
How many total weapons, types and sizes, is the Hawk supposed to have?
The Hawk has 4 S2 and 2 S1 Weapon hardpoints with 1 small EMP device.
Is the EMP from the Hawk as strong as the EMP from the Raven?
At present, we expect the EMP on the Hawk to be in the same neighborhood of effectiveness as one of the Ravenâs. A balance pass is scheduled for 2018 and this information may change.
When will the variants become available that are mentioned in the brochure?
The variants described in the brochure are ships that exist in the fiction of Star Citizenâs universe. Currently, there are no plans to implement these variants. Letâs see how much you all like the original Hawk, for starters :).
Will the Hawk fit inside a Carrack?
Considering that both ships are in whitebox at the moment, we do not have the final dimensions of each ship and canât definitively answer this yet. That said, it is unlikely as the Carrackâs hangar is designed to field a ship the size of a snub craft.
Brochure mentions gun rack. Where is it located?
Itâs behind the deployable pilot seat.
It was mentioned in the ATV that the prisoner transport pod could be used as a bed for the pilot. Is this the case?
Yes, it is possible that the pilot could use this as a bed, although probably a bit claustrophobic
How do the defensive features (e.g. shields, armor, countermeasures) of the Hawk compare to other light fighters such as the Gladius, Mustang Delta, and Defender?
Anvil designed the Hawk, so as youâd expect itâs reasonably durable, at least as light fighters go. In this respect we plan for it to have tougher armor than the Gladius, Mustang Delta, and the Defender. Its shield generators are presently intended to be similar in performance to those of a Gladius. While the Hawk carries on more armor, the Mustang Deltaâs defenses include a larger store of countermeasures.
Whatâs the heaviest armor a player can wear while operating the Anvil Hawk?
Most of the real estate on planets, moons, and asteroids in UEE space that isnât in active use or privately owned may be purchased. Some areas, however, have been designated as national parks, wildlife refuges, and nature preserves, and may not be claimed or legally exploited.
Is the Hawk going to be fast-tracked in development or is this going to be further down the road for getting in-game?
Generally speaking, smaller ships are simply easier to make, and ships without interior spaces are easier still. From a development perspective, the Hawk has fewer obstacles to production than larger ships with traversable interiors, and is therefore likely to be in game sooner.
Which loaner will be available until the anvil hawk is flight ready?
The Cutlass Black is the selected loaner ship for the Anvil Hawk.
Is the stated 500 m/s afterburner speed correct? If so, how will the Hawk stop prospective bounties from simply running away?
The Hawk is viewed as an entry level ship that focuses on being cheap, reliable, and versatile, and may not be able to handle every bounty â or at the least, may require a little extra tactical prowess to pull it off. As flight balance is an endeavor that will continue throughout the development process, the 200;500 stats should remain as a good comparison point for how the Hawk will perform relative to other ships as stated on the Ship Matrix according to the characteristics of the flight model point in time that it was introduced into the ship pipeline. Remember that as we experiment with the overall flight model to provide a better game experience over time, so too does ship performance adjust alongside it.
Is the prisoner stowage in the aft of the Hawk being designed for just a single seat, or will it be able to hold multiple bounties as the cells in the Avenger Stalker do?
The Hawkâs containment pod accommodates one prisoner.
This is an Anvil Ship, but it is still a light fighter. This class of ship relies on speed to survive and win fights. Since itâs already stated to be slower than the Gladius, what other points make this ship a viable choice over it, since the Gladius got the S3 buff?
Every ship has its purpose. The Hawk is a light fighter with bounty hunting features. There are some missions for which a Hawk is suited that a Gladius isnât. Even considering their different mission profiles, however, the Hawk has an EMP device, which will play better in certain situations than a limited loadout of missiles (perhaps especially in bounty hunting), and it also has comparable shielding to and better armor protection than the Gladius. Remember too, the benefits of armor protection versus shielding against different types of weapons; although of course one prefers not to get hit, when you do get hit, sometimes you really want that armor.
What is the (in-atmo) air speed velocity of an unladen Hawk?
African or European? In all seriousness, having the prisoner in the holding pod will not noticeably impact the air speed velocity. Under the latest flight model in testing, at 1 atmosphere and neutral conditions, the flight speed would be around 165 m/s with max safe air speed be around 339 m/s.
Do I need to file a claim to build a base or mine?
No, you can freely build or mine planets and moons outside UEE controlled space but youâre on your own as far as security goes. Itâs worth noting, too, that one of the largest deterrents to others moving in on a valuable section of land youâre working â or taking liberties with an outpost youâve constructed â is the fact that within UEE space such actions are criminal and will have significant consequences for the infringers. These protections, of course, donât exist beyond the borders.
Why make a bounty hunter ship with no interior?
Traversable interiors in general make a ship considerably larger â something youâve had the opportunity to witness in the development histories of some of our other ships. Larger surface area and internal volume can in turn translate to higher mass (see http://bit.ly/2gPf7LP for info on how this affects our ship mass derivations), which quickly runs counter the Hawkâs design aim of a light fighter with a small landing footprint. Without an interior, the Hawk can run lighter, cheaper, and be more nimble. Instead of supports and reinforcements to shore up against the structural weakness of large empty spaces (relative to the size of the ship), those materials are more uniformly dedicated to keeping components and resource pipes firmly in place, making them more dense. This also benefits to the lone wolf nature of a player who only wants to pilot a single-seater bounty hunter ship.
What are the correct dimensions for the Hawk?
The current stats are: 17m long, 22m wide, 6.5m tall â Itâs important to note that the ship is in whitebox and these dimensions may change as it moves through the production pipeline.

Larger surface area and internal volume can in turn translate to higher mass (see http://ift.tt/2yxL5FU for info on how this affects our ship mass derivations), which quickly runs counter the Hawkâs design aim of a light fighter with a small landing footprint.
