I think the Dwarves have very sophisticated & pretty modern amenities in Khazad dum, on par with Numenorian plumbing, it all was kept under wraps & got lost with the balrog incident along with the engineers etc who knew how to make them :((

I think Disa and Galadriel will meet in future, when she crosses Khazad dum to reach Lothlorien :))
