Hi!! I just found out about this challenge, and I figured I'd give it a try even though there's barely over 2 months left in 2022--at the very least, I can qualify for the Participant badge for this year and then jump in from the beginning for 2023. :) I've seen mention of monthly tasks but haven't seen them listed on the spreadsheet, FAQs, etc. Where can I find them? Thanks!

Easy answer to the Monthlies is they're at the bottom of the Hard Mode tab of the spreadsheet. They're probably minimized, iirc. If you still can't find them, I'll make sure to update the downloadable version -- sometimes weird things happen, eh?

Yes you can definitely get a Participant badge, for sure! Submission deadline is the last day of January so you can sneak a few more fics in there if you wish! ;D

We have new badges this year (I aim for new ones every year) and, in addition to the awesome ones @saganarojanaolt makes, I'm going to try to make some pretty but basic badges for some 'special and secret' bonus prizes. Should be fun!!

A tip: You don't need to submit a reading log alongside the spreadsheet (and with that, I only check task completion numbers vs. numbers of tasks claimed done).

And another tip! You can use fics you've read throughout ALL of 2022, especially with the help of AO3's History/Marked For Later list. Or your memory. Some people are that awesome, hehehe.

Another: You can use the same fic for different tasks unless the description of the task explicitly states you cannot. Like the "read x 5k+ fics' and 'read x 20k fics' --- those need to be different. There aren't too many instances of that, though, so that's good.

This year's challenge was a little ambitious, but 2023 will be where I learn from my... not mistakes necessarily, but choices. That's a good word. So it should be a bit easier to complete!

Welcome to WWE Smackdown Live and we kick things off with Randy Orton making his way out to the ring. Orton has the mic and says last week Jeff Hardy called him out and we see video footage from last week’s edition of Smackdown where Orton attacked Hardy.

Orton’s question is do they still believe. He could have warned the squeamish to turn away. He made a vow to destroy every superstar put on a pedestal. He will become so violent that people will want to change the channel but won’t because they still believe. Just like right now, they believe Jeff hardy will come out but he won’t because Orton erased the enigma. Orton says he erased the enigma and will erase every superstar people respect because he doesn’t get any respect

Orton says he will erase every superstar the fans choose to believe in starting with Jeff Hardy. It’s not on him it’s all on the WWE Universe. People can call him Legend Killer, Apex Predator, Viper but there’s only one word they need to refer to him as. The three most destructive letters. RKO

Cesaro and Sheamus are in the locker room talking about their match tonight.

Backstage: Becky Lynch is in the hallway and Charlotte stops by. They speak at the same time. Charlotte says she wasn’t trying to ruin Becky’s moment. Charlotte says Becky knows that she is competitive. Becky says it put her in a tough position. Becky says she wants to be happy for Charlotte but she wanted a singles match against Carmella. The challenge got a lot bigger.. Becky says that to be the best, she has to beat the best.

Charlotte asks if they are okay for this tag match and Becky says they aren’t Sasha and Bayley.

Carmella makes her way to the ring to join the announce team for the next match.

Back from break, The Iiconics are in control. Charlotte with a small package for a nearfall and Billie and Charlotte deliver simultaneous boots as both women are down. Becky in with the Beck-sploder to Peyton. Becky with a forearm from the second ropes and Becky sets up for the Dis-arm Her but Billie breaks it up

Charlotte tages in and hits a moonsault onto Billie and Peyton. Figure Eight locked in on Peyton for the submission

Backstage: Renee is with the New Day and Big E says last week The New Day was dynamite on commentary but this week they’re trying something new. Kofi then puts a wig on and conducts an interview with The New Day and Xavier says they’ve beaten The Bar before and tonight they’ll beat them again and at Summerslam they will make sure that The Bludgeon Brothers bow down to the power of positivity

Miz is then shown on the set of Miz and Mrs. He says he has given and given and thanks to negotiations with Smackdown GM Paige he is going to give Daniel Bryan the gift of relevancy because at Summerslam it will be The Miz vs Daniel Bryan

Backstage: Becky Lynch and Charlotte are celebrating they’re victory and Becky says but in 2 weeks it’s going to be a different story and Charlotte says then they’ll just have to be the best against each other

AJ Styles makes his way out to the ring. We get an “AJ Styles” chant from the crowd and Styles takes the mic and says he hasn’t forgotten about that sound. Styles says a lot goes on between the ropes. A lot of trash talking and manhood being tested and a lot of things get personal and last week Samoa Joe made it personal when he talked about Styles’ family and he wants to be the greatest superstar for his family

That doesn’t make him special that’s just what he’s supposed to do for his family as a father and a man. He says his wife is a single parent because he can’t be there but that’s the sacrifices they make to give their children what they want

Styles says Joe knows his wife and kids and long before this was The House AJ Styles Built. They both shared apartment complexes and stale pizza and he threw away a decade of friendship becaus ehe mentioned Styles’ family. He’s not letting Joe get his hands on the WWE Championship. Styles says Joe won’t walk out of Summerslam with the WWE Championship. In fact, Joe won’t walk out of Summerslam period

Backstage: Rusev walks in and tells Lana last week he should have been more supportive and tonight he will be out at ringside for Lana’s rematch against Zelina. Aiden English walks in and all he wants is to apologize and says he had the best intentions at heart and says he’s sorry. Rusev says they forgive him then he goes to join them but Rusev stops him and says they forgive him but maybe it’s best he stay backstage for the match
