Meanwhile, The Race is publishing their millionth article about his time at McLaren, talking about his relationship with Norris and quoting exclusively only Lando on the matter.

a) why can’t McLaren shut up about Daniel now that he’s gone? First Seidl, then Zac and now Norris. Are they just lining them up to talk about Daniel over the whole winter break? Would they still talk about Daniel next year as well and use him as an excuse when they once again build a shit car, even if he’s not there?

b) don’t know if those are new quotes from Lando but if they are, he just comes across as petty to me when Daniel has been nothing but complimentary in his comments about him to the press. He never once showed any resentment about having been comprehensively beaten (as people like to put it) by his teammate but gracefully accepted the defeat.

c) also that was the most useless article ever written. But you know what it smells like? PR bullshit. McLaren knows that DTS is reserving the most damning villain storyline for them and they’re already laying the groundwork for next year
