Help save Bilal's family!

i want to talk about my friend Bilal @bilal-salah0. for over a year now, Bilal has been living in germany, trying to adjust to his new living situation in a foreign country, learning a new language and working full time. 

when the war started, he was far away from home and his family and has been living in daily fear for their lives ever since. 

being forced to work long hours and promoting his family’s fundraiser at the same time, he has taken on more responsibility than anyone ever should. still, he managed to raise money for their evacuation fund and helped take care of his family’s daily needs with the money he was making while working. 

in a cruel twist of fate, all of this got taken away in an instant. he lost his job and his apartment and even his residence permit. which means he is at danger of deportation from germany that could happen as soon as next week!

i have been in daily contact with Bilal for a while now and connected him with some of my friends in germany. together, we are trying our utmost to make sure he can stay in the country. anyone who knows german bureaucracy knows what kind of hell it is. but we won't give up.

without his job, he was forced to dip into the money of his family’s evacuation fund to cover their daily expenses like food and shelter. this meant he had to raise his goal from €70,000 to €100,000. this was not an easy decision for him to make, he even asked for my advice on whether or not to do it, because he did not want anyone to think he was scamming people. 

even in such a desperate situation, Bilal does not want to be seen as someone who would ever take advantage of people's generosity

his family is comprised of 18 members, 10 of them are adults and 8 are children under 16 years old, some of them newborns who were born amidst the chaos of war and displacement.

currently, he is sitting at:

donations have been slowing down ever since he reached his original goal. i cannot stress how important it is that they pick back up!

Every morning, *Abdul Rahman* leaves his home in Gaza, heading to *Netzarim*, not in search of a better life... but for *some flour* to feed his hungry brothers.

First of all, we are not well at all. The war has been going on for two years and we are still without shelter. All necessities are very expensive in the markets and even food is rarely eaten. Healthy food💔😔

And on the first day of Eid al-Fitr in Gaza, children playing with joy and happiness were targeted. The Israeli occupation killed the joy of these children.

We are dying every minute and every second. We are being displaced from our homes and we have nothing left. We can no longer bear this destruction and pain.💔😔

These seconds that you see in the video take the lives of millions of people in one minute

Neither doctor, paramedic, teacher, young man nor old man were spared from these missiles. Even children could not take shelter from these missiles.😔💔

"I'm a 20-year-old guy, and these aren't just words... this is a cry for help.

We are a broken family — not only by war, but by hunger, illness, and exhaustion.

My father, Raed (48), suffers from a severe skin condition that makes it dangerous for him to be in the sun or even sweat.

My mother, Amani (40), has chronic asthma, spends most of her time bedridden, and struggles to breathe without constant medication.

And me? I've had two surgeries recently, and my body can no longer handle pain, hunger, or even standing for long.

Now the responsibility for the whole family falls on my younger brother Mohammed (17) —

a child forced to become a man far too soon.

We now buy flour by the kilo…

Yes, $30 for just one kilo.

It’s barely enough to feed a single person — and Mohammed can only afford half a kilo, if that.

When he can’t?

He risks everything and goes to what they call "aid distributions" —

but they’re not aid. They’re death traps.

Thousands of people.

Shoving. Screaming.

And Israeli snipers waiting to shoot if you stay longer than 4 minutes.

If you don’t get anything in time, you go home with nothing…

Just tears, empty stomachs, and another day of despair.

But Mohammed still goes…

For us.

For my little sister Sham (5), who now suffers from severe malnutrition.

For my mother, who can barely breathe.

For my father, whose skin burns when he sweats.

Because there’s no one else left.

I’m not asking for much.

Just a smile on Sham’s face,

a breath for my mom,

and safety for Mohammed.

in addition to fundraising for their evacuation, Mohammed @mohammedhaboubsblog's family needs our urgent immediate support for rent and medical treatment in Gaza

Mohammed's sister Farah was injured in an IOF school massacre last week and they still need $948 USD (9,986 SEK) to cover her treatment. they'll also need $3000 USD (31,597 SEK) for September's rent

can we raise the remaining $948 (9,986 SEK) for Farah's treatment by tomorrow, August 16th? we need to reach 91,103 SEK on the GFM to meet this goal

after that, we'll need to reach at least 122,700 SEK by August 30th to cover next month's rent so they don't lose their housing while Farah recovers!

Mohammed's sister Farah was injured in an IOF school massacre last week and they still need $948 USD (9,986 SEK) to cover her treatment. they'll also need $3000 USD (31,597 SEK) for September's rent

can we raise the remaining $948 (9,986 SEK) for Farah's treatment by tomorrow, August 16th? we need to reach 91,103 SEK on the GFM to meet this goal

MY FAMILY IS NOT DOING WELL!!

My 4-year-old sister is struggling with chickenpox with a weakened immune system and a stunted growth due to two years of malnutrition. She’s extremely traumatized and screams when she hears the slightest loud noise. My 17-year-old sister keeps fainting due to starvation and lives with constant headaches. My older brothers are mourning the loss of a close friend. My mother is sick, exhausted and breaking down. As for me, for a week I’ve been feeling extreme pain in my teeth and ears.

We spend hours at the market trying to find something affordable, negotiating to no avail. We spend hours walking around, trying to find a new apartment, because the room we live in is infested with rats and cockroaches that bite us, run over us when we try to sleep and contaminate the little food we have. But everything just costs too much. 1kg of sugar is $150. One 25kg sack of flour is $1,000, and prices keep rising, commissions too. Our current rent is $500 every month. We need help, we’re drowning here.

I know even outside of Gaza people are struggling and donating is hard. I swear I understand that and I’m not forcing you. But please, please just share if you see this post. There is someone out there who can help us and I just need help to reach them.

Hi everyone. I've been asked by Hamdy (@hamdigaza) to share his story with you. Hamdy is only 19 years old but he has already witnessed the deaths of so many family members, including 3 young children: Omar, Nada and Zeina. None of them had even reached 5 years old when they were killed by Israeli missiles.

Omar was an intelligent boy who dreamt of becoming an engineering. He was killed, along with his parents, in the same raid by the occupation forces. He did not even get to graduate from kindergarten.

Omar's little sister Nada was also martyred. She was only 4 years old. She looked up to her brother Omar and wanted to attend kindergarten with him so much. She was a kind soul and wished to become a doctor when she grow up so that she can "treat the sick and the blind". She never got to grow up. She was only 4 years old when she was killed.

Baby Zeina was born in the first week of this war. When her mother was pregnant with her, they were displaced to an area in the South where Israel designated as a safe zone, and it was in this 'safe zone' that Zeina was born. She was the youngest child in Hamdy's family, and a bright spot in their lives in this otherwise horrific genocide. Zeina was only 5 months old when the occupation forces killed her, along with her father.

Hamdy lost most of his family members in the same bombing that killed Zeina and her father. Hamdy has lost his mother, his aunt, his siblings, his cousins, his nephews, and his nieces in this year alone. Of all his family members, only he, his father and his sister managed to survive.
