Not gonna lie, sometimes I do miss the Sun and Moon dynamic in the Spooky Month fandom, except it's the version of the song "O Sol E A Lua"

One thing I like about Smokeydonuts is that the shippers don’t make Karen (John’s wife) out to be an “obstacle in the way of John and Jack’s yaoi relationship” or “mega bitch who abuses John and that Jack is a way better spouse” like some how some people do with their M/M ships.

Then again, there might be Smokeydonuts fics where this is the case and I just haven’t seen it..

The proof that this is so real is I literally forgot that these type of stuff is common in fandoms

Something I noticed a lot is ships with Bob or other "criminal" Characters, is that there's double standards in their morals, if you wanna call it that.

I'm not talking about ships where Bob keeps his identity a secret OR they are partners in crime. I mean Characters FULLY aware of what he is doing.

The OC isn't even a killer, cult member or any kind of bad person themselves, they are labeled as a sweet and friendly person even. Yet they literally see no problem with their husband being a serial killer and cannibal. Even having kids with him, living a casual life, apparently unfazed by the fact he does these things? How does this supposed good person sleep at night knowing their husband guts people? It's not like he "just kills bad people", look at Streber. I fail to understand it.

But I believe it could be used in interesting conflict and angst, I am surprised to have never seen it before. For act, I'd love to see this explored.

For example, Lila finds out you date the guy who tried to kill her and Skid. Or Streber finds out you lived a casual life with someone like Bob. Especially if it's seen your character has a good relationship with other characters aside Bob, maybe even being their friend? And your character is, however, so delusional from being in love. They don't wanna hear it or can't grasp how terrible Bob actually is.

Ross and Susie were both children who got exposed to the internet too soon. Jaune and Aaron just trusted him too much with it, while Susie's parents were never there to teach about internet safety to begin with (Mr Wonder didn't even know she was online so much).

Ross explored content that he wasn't supposed to see at such age, or just any age at all considering what they portray. He grew up not only to be hypersexual, but also hyper-aware and paranoid of his surroundings and the world we live in, making him avoid being the center of attention at all costs. After a specific moment, his accounts either had fake personas or were just straight up 100% anonymous. He has no permanent online friends despite spending so much time scrolling.

Susie's only company were the people on the internet, and at some point she met up with the wrong people. She's also hypersexual and doesn't fully understand the concept of a healthy friendship, being content with anything as long as it means receiving some love from it. Even after fully cutting contact with said bad "friends", she's still on her computer a lot and talking to all sorts of individuals everyday.

One day, Ross found Susie's stream and turned into a frequent viewer. He knew who she is, but she couldn't say the same, considering his anon status. After a while, Ross finally had the courage to DM her and "befriend" her, no longer being just a comment on her streams. However, due past experiences, at some point Susie needed a confirmation of who he truly is to keep talking. She couldn't just vaguely trust a stranger, not knowing how they look or sound like. Ross revealed who he is, and wanting or not, it was really awkward. Roy and Robert noticed that they suddenly avoided even eye contact now, but they both refused to explain. But they still talked, just not personally. They would never expect that side from each other, they needed some time to finally verbalize anything. But once they did, it was the best decision they ever made.

Ross reassures her that he really likes her personality and tastes, how she's such a fun girl, and how her art is very nice to look at even if it's not a super hot and suggestive demon. How she's a woman and not a thing to him. He's gonna make sure that she'll learn how to respect her own boundaries and not let herself get too exposed to anyone, and of course, offer genuine compliments because she deserves them.

Susie reassures him that he's not just a perv and will never be an enabler to the thing that stresses him so much, how he's not just another man who she deeply fears. She'll always protect him from anything that is remotely scary, and that the grotesque will not reach them so soon, how they can experience a lot of things together. She'll DM him at midnight to chat for a bit to help him sleep.

Ross and Susie soon enough is a thing, and other people didn't even saw it coming. It's their special secret. They love each other a lot, and they don't even need to physically express it for the other to know.
