Considering both Chong Yue character and opinion he has on Lumen, having any antagonistic dynamic is off the table. Despite his origin, my dragon man is by nature not v confrontational or hostile, so it's hard to imagine him being aggressive. If you aren't unrepentantly evil person or a threat to people, he would always try to mediate in most situations without any attempt to resort to violence; 'cause let's be honest, he will floor a lot of ppl as he is a powerful individual. He just chooses not to. So I can see them bonding over compassion and care for people, 'cause in his opinion no indifferent person will become a healer willingly. He will also prob grab Lumen under his wing (or tail), if his siblings will cause troubles or drag him into their harmless machinations, 'cause this is what older brother always does. He did take part in Nian's movie and he would do much worse for them ngl. Despite RI supposed to be his vacation due to old age, he still will involve self into ppl lives and will try to help them in any way possible, like dragging them into morning training practices, regardless of their personal wishes lmao He does practice still healthy way of life and is more than willing to help others join him on this path as well. Also Chong Yue srsly has a very big heart, despite being mistreated as an outsider by ppl he considered friends, despite being ostracized as Sui fragment, he still harbors immense care and love for ppl - both human and not so much. And this makes me a lil hesitant to assume his romance, 'cause love is selfish, love is selective. But Chong Yue is not. So it will cause internal conflict for him, as suddenly his care and love for people will start to center around mostly one person. 'Cause despite always maintaining an amicable facade, he IS lonely and yearns for companionship. For connection with the very people he loves and protects. But due to his nature he can't have or not allowed to, even tho it never stopped him. He still shows his love, care, protection and concern for people without reservation. And he forged a lot of interesting and unique bonds. One of such is with Tian Pei. So what I'm saying is that any deep and exclusive romance with such an individual will take time, consideration and probably special approach, 'cause as I already said Chong Yue would not want to act or be selfish.
