being a buddie fan is like watching a cake being made. Tim and his fellow writers are baking up a storm in the kitchen. and you’re just watching. they have all these ingredients, and they’re putting them in a bowl and mixing it up. and you can see it all happening. you can smell it baking when it’s in the oven. you watch as they whip up the frosting and decorate that in good old roy g biv. They slide that shit right in front of you. it smells delicious. it looks gorgeous. and right on top in big piped on letters is the word ‘Cake’.

Like any person would, you assume it’s cake because what else would it fucking be?

but you got tim minear in his little chefs hat, going “now i won’t say this is a cake or not. if you choose to see it as a cake, i’m all here for it. i will say that, yes, i did intend to make a cake, but is it a cake? that’s up for interpretation”.

and you got oliver stark, with his pr trained smile on, next to you going “i don’t bake, so i can’t tell you if this cake or not, but i can totally understand why you’d think it’s cake. and if it is cake? i’m all here for it, as long as it’s a good cake”.

and then you got ryan guzman across from you going “cake? idk. how about this granola bar i got from by pocket?”

and then when you ask to eat the cake, tim comes over with a hammer smashes the shit out of it and then leaves behind a messy ass kitchen, and oliver has disappeared into the mountains and ryan is still across from you taking about fucking granola. and the fucking peanut gallery is behind you telling you there never was any cake in the first place, and that the “real cake” is the bowl with left over frosting soaking in dish water in the sink.

and yk what? you’re gonna sit back down in that kitchen come september, and watch them bake that cake again using those same ingredients that they set out in plain view, that have been sitting there for years, and hope they don’t fuck it up this time.

Meg! I've noticed something amongst your Fairy, Serial Killer, and Cosmic Tides AU

How come, us ( the Gardener, Detective and the Heir )?)) Always manage to make Sun cry/upset? In some way or another QwQ

SK!AU (unintentional): The detective made Sun cry/stress out because they asked about his feature of checking for vitals and probably reminded him of a bad past experience related to that, which at the end, makes him regress and Moon to take care of him.

Fairy AU (unintentional): The gardener made Sun cry due to reminders of Nan and made him upset because they had "stolen" Juniper's stone.

Cosmic Tides: If I remember correctly, the heir yelled at Sun and blamed him for getting them into the awful situation they were in, making him cry. (Very sweet of Moon for defending him from them tho <3)

I feel bad for them AAA

Now, I feel like I should be prepared for the Royal Guards and Playroom AU... Istg if I see Sunny cry in any of those AUs because of us... /silly

SK Sun went through a traumatic flashback brought on unintentionally, fairy Sun is thinking of loving memories that at the moment only bring him pain and longing, and mer Sun is a huge crybaby--literally XD

I can assure you Royal Guard Sun is much 'tougher' and doesn't cry easy (he's incapable of doing it as well), buuuut there might be some moments in the story. Can't say much more than that cuz spoilers :3c

And raggedy Sun, the only way the Y/N makes him cry is if it's part of the imaginative play, but they're not ever really mean to him. If anything it's the others in the Playroom that make him cry quite a bit X3

I also just imagine Sun as being the one more in tuned with his emotions, more empathetic :3

Okay this damn video. A couple of things.

It's canon that Buck baked cookies for Christopher's class?? Buck has gotten Chris ready for school. Buck has cooked meals for both Eddie and Chris multiple times. Buck has helped Chris with his homework. Buck takes Chris out all the time. Buck has given him life advice. We don't see Henren or Athena and Michael doing those things daily either does that mean they're not the parents? 🧍🏽

I don't know why they think Chris calling Buck 'dad' would in any way or form take away the importance of Eddie being his biological dad. This person seems to think someone can only have one dad in their lives. Step-parents exist? Queer parents?? Foster parents?? They're not any less because they're not your biological father? Some biological fathers don't even deserve to be a father.

They also seem to think you're only a parent if you both do the exact same things for a kid, which is not true at all. Parents have different roles they play and different sets of responsibilities. One parent will be more into the emotional aspect and the other might handle day-to-day things. One parent might have a career that doesn't allow them to spend as much time with their kids as the other. Yeah, some parents might share all the same responsibilities but mostly they don't! This is so common in ANY family. You're not less of a parent if you don't make breakfast for your kid to school lol.

When you tell someone "there's nobody in this world I trust with my son more than you", in this world, that is beyond any fun uncle territory. That is a co-parent.

Chris ran to Buck first when he was mad at his own dad. Chris most likely has Buck's address memorized because he called Uber. Chris didn't want to talk to Eddie but was willing to talk to Buck.

I'm convinced people like these watch a completely different show than the rest of us because Buck's involvement in the Diaz family is NOT just as a fun uncle. The Will itself is the biggest proof (despite their clown ass dismissing it). You don't name the 'fun uncle' as a legal guardian. You will choose someone who you know will step into the role of a parent for your child; someone who will take over all of your responsibilities as a parent in case something happens to you. If you wanna' see what a fun uncle looks like then look at Chim with Denny. Look at Buck with Jee-Yun. That's fun uncle.

You don't have to be romantically involved to be a co-parent but the fact that they're saying even if they date he won't ever be Chris' dad?? Reeks of homophobia and hetero normative bs if you ask me.

Also I hope the last episode was a slap to their face because 'fun uncles' don't get that involved in family matters. Eddie's parents didn't even ask why Buck was there ����🏽

They can say whatever they want but it doesn't negate canon. Buck is co-parenting with Eddie. Buck will never be the dad that is Eddie because that belongs to Eddie, true. But he can be another dad to Chris and it doesn't make him any less of a parent for that.

Practicing Christian here and let me tell you, I never heard of this 'Thorn in your flesh' symbolism, at least not in Catholic church anyway

By context, it could be a reference to Christ's Crown of Thorns, but I never saw it worded like this. A perhaps common phrase could be 'What crosses do you still have to carry?', maybe.

But yeah, idk, maybe it's specific to their doctrine? The whole podcast gave me veryyyy trad Christian/Opus Dei/cult-like vibes. I was pretty uncomfortable watching it.

I only ever went to an Anglican church/school which I’m aware is pretty weak sauce when it comes to Christian doctrine, so I was thinking I missed something.

Because the crown of thorns was all I could think of too, but idk how that relates at all to what they were talking about. it’s like they took the imagery of the crown and combined it with the “thorn in your side” colloquialism.

imo it’s telling they both seem familiar with what’s (at best) an obscure religious saying. it seems likely him and the podcast host at least run in similar circles.

Hello, it is good to talk to you again as well. I worked on statue building a bit, attempting to refine my already great technique. I also studied different ways of building rocks, and methods of making hollow tree trunks, both of which I put to the test attempting to create a lizard enclosure. After I was satisfied with my skills in that area and proud of my build, I moved on to experimenting with building instruments, which I must admit, I have not attempted in quite some time.

And yes there is some stuff post game! Iirc most of the Sevii Islands are locked to post game and you have a few encounters with your rival as you’re traveling through them. I will say the romance progresses >:) I’d definitely recommend playing through the post game, there’s some super cute moments in there!

If you finish the Sevii Islands quest and then go back to Pallet Town there’s some special dialogue waiting for you ^^ And if you feel like tackling the League a second time after that, there’s even MORE special dialogue!!
