The world is overpopulated to hell, yet people still breed like rats. Like there’s no vaccines to protect the kids from dying, like before.

It takes the human body 7 years to fully recover from birthing a kid.

Seven years.

Not to mention all the complications birth and pregnancy brings. It’s not worth it.

All the kids in foster care, barely any being adopted. But people wanna breed instead? Instead of helping kids in the system?

Wanna have a ‘biological’ kid? When your genes are filled with adhd, cancer, autism, anxiety, ocd, schizophrenia etc? Hell no.

Not to mention one in four kids experience child abuse or neglect.

ONE IN FOUR.

Nearly 70% of all reported sexual assaults (including assaults on adults) occur to children ages 17 and under. Over 90% of sexual abuse/assaults are from someone the kid knows. Like a dad. Uncle. Even brother.

Stop having kids. Idc. Stop having them. At least stop at two. No fucking more.

No sci-fi explanation for why aliens haven’t contacted Earth will be as funnier, depressing, and true as Midnight Burger’s “we’re such a hot mess that aliens think it’s hilarious and have turned Earth feeds into reality shows”

Now that's a shot I've never seen. I was living in Richland, WA on that date, 140 miles due east of Mt. St. Helens. The blast rattled our windows. At 1 PM the ash cloud was overhead, and it was like midnight.
