                     His mentioning of making a camp up caused her to peer out from under her umbrella at the torrential downpour that was beginning to fall. She sucked on her lower lip and exhaled.::

                                                                                                  “Yeah, we probably should…And you’re right; it’ll give me an opportunity and some time to work out the specifics of the spell I suggested…”

                  ::She replied, and rubbed her cheek a bit.::

If Kagome’s plan was an actual success, that would mean they would have the upper hand against the Infant and while Naraku was still a problem, Hakudōshi knew they had to take a step at a time. Sooner or later his creator would come for him, for both the betrayal and the jewel shard.

The moment the girl suggested the higher ground, the demon child’s head moved upwards to the mountains. Certainly there would be at least one secure cave for them in there.

With that in mind he extended his hand towards her ❝ It will be faster to reach the top of the mountain if we fly. ❞ he wouldn’t dare use his barrier, considering it had a connection to Naraku and it could probably give away his location -that is if he didn’t know about it already...- but Hakudōshi was still able to fly on his own without relying on the barrier.

And it would be for a short time, surely that would be fine.
