ВОЛШЕБНОЕ ВИДЕНИЕ ДУШИ... К 185-летию со дня рождения художника И. Н. Крамского  Жизнь этого замечательного русского художника, уместившаяся в полвека, богата на события, испытания и творческие свершения, поставившие его в ряд самых именитых живописцев России. И хотя его имя знают многие, не каждый сразу сможет назвать, какие именно работы принадлежат этому талантливейшему мастеру кисти. А вот любителям русской литературы XIX века сделать это, наверное, немножко проще. Хотя бы потому, что портретов поэтов и писателей той эпохи было не так уж много, и несмотря на то, что фотография уже получала постепенно распространение (и даже Крамской занимался ею на заре своего творческого пути), всё же основными способами запечатлеть внешний облик человека, а иногда и его душевный мир (при условии высокой одарённости художника, это – и о нашем сегодняшнем герое), по-прежнему оставались живопись и рисунок. Иван Крамской создал целую серию живописных портретов своих современников – мастеров слова, произведения которых известны каждому из нас, а многими и любимы. Словно живые, живее, чем это было бы на фото, смотрят на нас с портретов Крамского Тарас Шевченко (1871), Лев Толстой (1873), Иван Гончаров (1874), Яков Полонский (1875), Дмитрий Григорович (1876), Николай Некрасов в период «Последних песен» (1877-1878), Михаил Салтыков-Щедрин (1879), Аполлон Майков (1883), Владимир Соловьёв (1885). Довелось художнику рисовать и Фёдора Достоевского, но когда писатель уже ��аходился на смертном одре. Кисти художника принадлежат портреты и других выдающихся его современников – химика Дмитрия Менделеева, мецената и основателя Третьяковской галереи Павла Третьякова, скульптора Марка Антокольского. Можно перечислять и перечислять, скольких художников он запечатлел – наиболее строгих критиков его творений. В том числе Ивана Шишкина, Илью Репина, Василия Перова, Архипа Куинджи, Михаила Клодта, Виктора Васнецова, Василия Верещагина, Константина Савицкого, Василия Сурикова... Художник Николай Ярошенко, чья личность и творчество особо близки жителям Кавказских Минеральных Вод, т. к. часть его жизни связана с Кисловодском (сюда он приезжал, здесь он жил и окончил свой земной путь), – так вот, он тоже не раз позировал Крамскому (и оставил нам один из портретов Крамского, работая над ним во время позирования). Но не только портретами своих известных соотечественников, в том числе и особ императорской семьи, знаменит Иван Крамской. Он – автор множества полотен, на которых запечатлены обычные крестьяне, просто с первого взгляда ничем не примечательные люди, каких, вроде бы, множество вокруг нас. Непостижимо, но живописцу удалось передать богатый внутренний мир таких простых людей, он сумел как будто высветить волшебным фонарём саму душу русского народа, её трудноуловимые нюансы, зафиксировав моменты особого внутреннего состояния своих героев... 8 июня все почитатели творчества русского живописца вспомнят его в связи с отмечающимся в этот  день 185-летием с того момента, когда на свет появился младенец, уже, казалось бы, умевший рисовать, посвятивший всю жизнь искусству и даже ушедший из жизни с кистью в руке – в момент работы над портретом своего доктора... Кто-то, прочитав эти строки, быть может, откроет альбом с репродукциями его работ. Сделать это можно на книжно-иллюстративной выставке «Необходимость прекрасного», которая ждёт читателей на общем абонементе Центральной городской библиотеки им. М. Горького...
