I got flagged on that fanfic twice, I wasn't risking it. Other smut writers do the same exact thing so they don't get slammed with a community label. I spent 2 weeks on that fanfic, so yes I wanted to make sure I didn't get flagged for a third time.

Why are you against people spam liking more than 4 posts? I would've thought a creator would prefer for people to enjoy their content without a limit. I'm sorry, I'm genuinely curious about the rule?

A lot of writers, including me have this rule so we don't get shadow banned. Tumblr has a system of easily flagging accounts, especially because of spamming. I personally wouldn't enjoy this because then I'd have to go through the whole process of getting myself un-flagged.
