Were it not for how close she’d always been with her father’s sister and her family, CeCe might’ve been a little more hesitant about upping and moving to Dallas at such a young age. Fortunately, the Krasnova’s never made CeCe feel like anything but a part of their immediate family, and rather than growing up with just the one sister, CeCe gained two more in her two cousins, Isabella and Mikayla. Closer in age to Mikayla, she and CeCe shared a room for a couple years, until Mikayla left for college, though they remained just as close despite the distance, the same way CeCe always had with her twin sister. Her younger cousin, Isabella, is the person CeCe is the most protective of in the world. She doesn’t think of either of them as cousins at this point, though; they’re her sisters, and her aunt and uncle have always been amazing parents to her, too.

Fortunately, despite being her father’s sister, her aunt definitely does not have the same homophobic views as he does. In fact, other than of course her actual mother, CeCe knows she couldn’t have asked for a better role model than her aunt Sara. She helped CeCe through teen angst and heartbreak, guided her, set boundaries and allowed her trust, everything CeCe needed to grow. When meeting new people, Sara will always say she has three daughters, Mikayla, Chloe and Isabella. Aunt Sara always gets a Mother’s Day card, and is still someone CeCe will run to in times of need. Her relationship with her has never been more important than her relationship with her actual mother, but from the age of thirteen CeCe grew up in the Krasnova family, not the Harper’s, and it’s safe to say she definitely feels like one of them.

ALPHABET SERIES ► I is for ISAIAH.

There was never any doubt, nor did either of them ever try to deny, that CeCe and Isaiah were entirely using each other. Meeting on the set of Just Tattoo of Us, Isaiah was one of the other artists, and he and CeCe developed a very flirty relationship right away. The show was focused mostly on the people getting inked rather than the ones inking them, but the flirtationship that quickly blossomed into a relationship between CeCe and Isaiah made them a bigger focus for the show than intended. Many people were skeptical, claiming that their relationship was set up for the cameras, to add a little drama for the artists, but that wasn’t the case at all.

In reality, CeCe had just gotten out of a short-lived marriage, having been cheated on and had her heart ripped to shreds, and Isaiah’s long-term relationship had recently ended, too. They both were just looking for a little fun, and while there was a huge spark between them, and while nothing was forced and they slipped easily into the roles of boyfriend and girlfriend, they were never in love. Their relationship was fun, though; it was easy. They got along like best friends, and the year they spent together really did help CeCe to forget how hurt she’d been by her ex-wife, and Isaiah was able to move on from his past relationship, too.

Their amicable breakup had been inevitable, and while they were both sad to part, they knew it was for the best, and that they worked much better as friends. They went on to film the last season of Just Tattoo of Us after their split, and remained just as goofy, silly and happy with one another throughout. They’re still great friends now, and if either is craving a little no strings attached fun, they know they can always call on each other.

ALPHABET SERIES ► H is for HAIR.

HEADCANON.

Despite being identical in almost every other way, an easy way to tell the difference between CeCe and @dangerousdanii - excluding tattoos - is by the length of their hair. While Dani’s is short, CeCe’s is and always has been pretty long. It’s naturally wavy, which is how she tends to wear it on a day to day basis, if it isn’t tied up in a high pony which is a common occurrence for her if she’s working at the tattoo studio. Before now, CeCe has had her hair a few different colors, including blonde, black, blue, pink, purple and even rainbow. However, all of the different colors, aside from blonde which she kept for a couple years during college, have been very fleeting, and she has found herself back now to her natural dark brown, with a few subtle highlights throughout. Her hair now touches her waist, and CeCe has no desire to cut it.

She doesn’t like to admit it, but CeCe sees much more of her father in herself lately than she would’ve ever really wanted to. Which is sad really, since they used to have a great relationship. When she was a little girl, they were as close as can be. He’d read her bedtime stories, take her on camping trips, and just generally loved to show off daddy’s little girl. However, then things begun to change with him, and maybe because CeCe was older and she’d notice things more, she realized it wasn’t often he would be seen without a drink in his hand or a glazed over look in his eye.

The kicker came when she was thirteen, with she and her sister both coming out to their parents. While their mom took it well, the same definitely couldn’t be said for their dad. He begun to “work away” more, to come home drunk more, and CeCe’s relationship with him completely fizzled. She didn’t know it at the time, but when her mom encouraged her to move to Dallas with her aunt, it was definitely for CeCe’s safety. Being around her father wouldn’t be good for her.

Now, CeCe is lucky if she gets so much as a text message on her birthday each year. She very rarely sees her dad, unless she’s holding a bottle and looking in the mirror, glazed over eyes just like he always had...

The viewers always seemed to enjoy a live stream. It had never really been a secret to CeCe that her ex wife was insecure about their relationship, though she genuinely had no idea why. CeCe was never anything but completely devoted and faithful to her, so Ali had no reason to worry, but for some reason she did, and CeCe never tried to invalidate her feelings. What ultimately led to Aliyana being unfaithful herself was the fact that CeCe was just too laid back about everything. For some reason, the older girl liked to get a rise out of her, and would constantly flirt with other people to make CeCe jealous. Being as laid back as she was, though, she honestly never realized, and it was like nothing Ali could do would phase her.

During a party for her twenty-third birthday, thrown by Aliyana at their home, apparently CeCe’s attention had been given too deeply to other people, and not enough to Aliyana. In an attempt to grab her attention, and to make her jealous in the process, Ali had started to flirt with one of the new guys, Dave, from CeCe’s work. He’d had no idea that Ali was CeCe’s wife, and before long they were going to Ali and CeCe’s bedroom together. The intention had been for CeCe to see them, or for someone to tell her, and that she’d go up there and show some jealousy. Evidently, Ali took things a little too far, and when CeCe had gone up there, they’d literally been in the middle of having sex.

Ali had wanted jealousy, and jealousy was what she got, along with a whole other bunch of negative feelings and emotions. The fact that they ended because Ali was unfaithful, no matter what her reasoning, is why CeCe struggles so badly to get over her, because there was never any love lost. Yes, her trust was broken, her ex wife betrayed her, but CeCe never fell out of love with her. It’s said that mourning the loss of someone who’s still alive is one of the most heartbreaking things to have to go through, and CeCe knows firsthand that that’s one hundred percent true.

While she’s very private about it, mostly because she thinks that a person’s relationship with God (or who/whatever they do or do not believe in) is a very personal thing, CeCe is a surprisingly devoted person as far as her Catholic religion is concerned. She grew up in a Catholic household, with the religion pushed especially by her older relatives on her mother’s side of the family, and CeCe always found their devotion to God fascinating. Although she definitely doesn’t agree with all of the traditional Catholic ideals, she really does believe in a higher power, and prays at least a couple times a week, though always in private. Her relationship with God has gotten CeCe through some pretty tough times, and has always helped her to feel closer to certain members of her family, including but not limited to her uncle Ernesto, who she grew up with from the age of thirteen. Aunt Sara was much more lax with her beliefs, but their faith was where CeCe and Ernesto bonded. While she was away from her mother, she knew that holding onto God would help her to feel closer to Maria, since their beliefs are the same, and her faith just generally helps her to feel more connected with her roots.
