There's a rude gesture in them pointing with the chopsticks, but it's all in good fun and soon those same chopsticks were back to being used as utensils. There's no hesitation in them as they accepted the food. Cute, like a little date. If not for the cheating thing looming in the air of the car. "Break up with them, duh. It's not for court, I just need the visual proof and confirmation."

As Fay challenged her minor threat, Kaiya shook her head while a gentle flush crept up the back of her neck. There was no way she could admit to that type of feeling for the other in such close quarters within the front seats. "Uhm, you know.. I'll have to whoop your ass at Mortal Kombat again or something." A lie and yet, she hoped believable. Watching Fay work with her chopsticks, Kaiya followed suit and made sure no splinters were in sight. "Here," Plucking up a piece of the ika, a vast smile crept up her lips then. Offering it to her friend, the food lingered closer to Fay's mouth. Tilting her head curiously in an upwards fraction, her eyes narrowed slightly. "What do we do if we find said cheater is actually cheating?"

"You swear what? Go on and finish your sentence there Kai. I'd love to hear more about it," Fay teased as they moved their legs to a more comfortable position in the driver's seat. "I ordered the same thing you ordered on my phone the other week. So if it was forgotten, you did it to yourself-" They grabbed the chopsticks and gestured slightly to Kaiya and then broke the chopsticks down the middle as they were supposed to be. "Best be fueled up to catch a cheater, you know."

The roll of Fay's eyes told the brunette everything she needed to know. Spending time hiding from the Yakuza taught her to read people enough, even if she were awkward and shy at times. "Chopsticks, Fay." Dangling the items before them, she wiggled the utensils playfully. "If you dare drop the sashimi again, I swear..." A small giggle tumbled from her mouth, expressing how delighted she was in the other's presence. "And you better have chosen some ika for me. Else it might cost you..." A sentence Kaiya didn't dare finish, allowing anticipation to invade the atmosphere.

Fay rolled their eyes, big and over the top, but that didn't stop the smile from forming on their face. An action that Kaiya could draw from them often enough that Fay couldn't really deny it. Not without sounding like some sort of brat. "Bold claims. And even if they were right, there's no way that applies to you taking my food as well."

Eager as always, sushi was Kaiya's favorite meal. Fond memories flooded her mind from back home each time the delectable food was presented before herself. Gently pushing the plate of sushi with her index fingers back towards Fay, Kaiya gave her a sheepish grin. This stakeout had been a bust so far and so many other activities could have livened up the night. "Ohh, please. You love it when I take charge." She bantered, tone light.
