Headcanons about how it was for the royal family back before everything became what it is now:

Despite having much to do with being the ruler, and a war raging, and all, Myand’r took care to always take the time to be there for the meals together with his family.

As children of the royal family, the siblings weren’t really supposed to go outside much. If at all, they were usually accompanied by at least a few guards, and those were instructed to never actually lose sight of the royal.

It had grown a custom between the sisters that they took unscheduled ‘training’ together - usually by Blackfire’s suggesting - and later denied to have done any fighting at all later on, even if (usually Starfire) carrying injuries from the fight.

Another routine, though I’m not sure if it would be called a tradition, was that Wildfire, until he was sent off planet, was just gone from where he had been (often asleep) before, and found after a little bit of a panic of everyone of the family and a hectic search somewhere completely odd. Like somewhere outside in their garden, in small corners or boxes or the likes, even in weapon storages hidden in the walls of the castle. Usually he was still, or again, asleep, and the family ended up assuming that he maybe was simply moving in his sleep, or something.

Everyday after waking up, Starfire liked to take a walk (or flight once she was able to) through their garden. She greeted the animals and the flowers alike, and sometimes spoke to them about her dreams or thoughts. Often it was Galfore who accompanied her there, though some rarer times also one of her parents.

Who knows, if the team was home, maybe Ryuji would get a chance to meet Cyborg - and the other Titans - rather soon! Wildfire's smile was a little sad to the comment about Galfore. He didn't want to explain that he wasn't home for long enough to really experience Galfore's caretaking that much; explaining such would only serve to ruin the mood.

It was nice to be able to share flight with someone that wasn't used to it. He could only imagine how it must feel for Ryuji, but it was still clear that it wasn't a fearful or otherwise unpleasant experience, and therefore Wildfire could enjoy it too. "We are landing in a few moments, yes!" He nodded to Ryuji's question, and then as announced placed first Ryuji and then himself onto the shore of Titans Tower's island.

Looking up the huge building for a moment, it was still just as impressive as it had been when he saw - and entered - it for the first time. Then, he smiled again and pointed upwards. "This is the Tower!" Which, now that he said it, was probably obvious. "I think, my... my like-a-cellphone?" He still couldn't think of the right word, so he just mirrored how Ryuji had described it, "can also open us the door, if they are not home." At least he remembered Starfire saying something like that before. If he should do it and bring someone else into the Tower was another question, but none that Wildfire thought of right now. "Or do you want, to see the outside first?" As in, the stuff that the team had outside of the Tower, like the training parcour and the little garden.

"Cyborg...? Man, that's a cool name! I'd love to see what he could do one day," The name was also pretty intriguing - cyborg - that was another name for a robot, wasn't it...? Maybe this was like a nickname for him, since he was so good at that! He had vaguely seen and heard things about rudimentary robots being built - some high schools even had like a robotics club or something...? Either way, he supposed he'd find out if he ever met this guy!

"He sounds awesome, I bet he must have protected you guys growing up and looked out for you," He had to admit, there was a touch of envy to his words - although not bitter envy, but rather a wistful sort of envy - at least Wildfire had grown up with a figure like that in his life - someone who could give stability and safety and comfort. Even if this 'Galfore' wasn't his actual father, he sounded a lot like a great father figure - at least one of them had a father figure.

"Well, that's all I can ask for!" Although the feeling was still a strange one and probably not something he would ever become accustomed to, it was still nevertheless a cool experience to see the world from so high up - everything underneath them looked so tiny and small in comparison. Was this how a bird felt...? As the shore slowly came into view, he blinked, looking down at it with wonder.

QUARTET NIGHT - HE★VENS

TW FOR SEMI SUGGESTIVE CONTENT! These are my personal headcanons on what I think the idols would wear. You do not have to agree with me. I just dislike how Broccoli always gives their character merch scents like; apple or lavender. They are adult men in an entertainment industry. They usually get promotional items so I think that they have preferences... But I also have a thing for exploring the world around me with my nose first. I hope you enjoy.

Quick explanation; top notes, middle notes, and base notes are the length of how long the scent will last when applied. Top notes; 5 - 15 minutes / Middle notes; 1 hour / Base notes; Max of 6 hours

Otoya Ittoki

God of Fire by Stéphane Humbert Lucas Unisex Cologne Around 200 USD // 29,896 Yen

I chose this particular cologne based on my personal views and how I see Otoya Ittoki. Usually for character merch he has a very delicate and gentle smelling item (lavender usually) but I personally do not think it fits him. Especially now that he is a fiery adult! Do I think he would actually spend that much on cologne? Once... If he is planning to go on a special date or he has to go to a big fancy event he will have this prepared. God of Fire has the scent of smoke and embers. Imagine a wildfire that has reduced it's surroundings to ash. Otoya is a very free spirit and he is full of energy like a burning flame. He and I also share a star sign, so I know my Aries men the best. The top notes are mango, ginger, lemon and red berries (usually this is raspberries) which gives it an upper tropical and fruity smell. Middle notes; Coumarin (a grassy smell mixed with vanilla), jasmine and cedar. Making it very woodsy! And base notes have musk (this usually means fabric, soft and clean), amber, agarwood. The base notes are the raging, smoky flames that will reduce everything above to ash.

You won't be burned by Otoya, although he is much hotter than any sun...

Ren Jinguji

Triumph of Bacchus by Argos Masculine/Unisex Cologne Around 250 USD // 37,370 Yen

Ren usually will have citrus as his scent. Oranges... But I think that is overplayed. Allow me to entice you my little lost lambs!~! This cologne is designed to seduce. And Ren is also a nepobaby so I don't think he looks at prices very much? As long as it is something he truly wants. And what he wants is to charm you out of your clo- I mean... Take you on a date... And fun fact, Bacchus is one of the twelve Olympians and he is the god of wine making, fertility, ritual madness, theater, and 'religious ecstasy'. Catch my drift? The top notes are Rum, white peach, green apple and saffron which are nice and fruity!~! Middle notes are tonka bean, patchouli, jasmine and vetiver (it's a grassy smell with wood as well). This is where the more sexy aspect starts to really kick in especially when he hugs you tightly against his chest... The base notes are tobacco, vanilla, amber, sandalwood and musk. Tobacco (natural and unburned) is actually oddly sweet so it fits extremely well to me.

Don't lose your way little lamb, the big bad wolf might lure you in... Just kidding, it's only Ren...

Natsuki/Satsuki Shinomiya

Au Lait by Alkemia Unisex Perfume 20 USD // 2,990 Yen

Le Lion by Chanel Unisex Perfume Around 325 USD // 48,581 Yen

Natsuki is our double dipper because he is a very special case. His scent is... Pure yellow. But that reminds me of extra strength cleaner which is so horrific. I like these instead! The first one is something I think he would buy because it reminds him of bouncy fresh bread. He doesn't seem interested in prices or anything like that. Just if something is small and cute. Because it isn't a luxury brand... Fans would go insane knowing this is what he wears. It has only a few ingredients which aren't really categorized. But we have wild honey, hints of brown sugar, tonka beans and creamy milk. Some reviews say it really does smell like fresh buttery bread which I adore. The next one is technically Satsuki, but still Natsuki. But please interpret this however you want. I picked this particular fragrance for many reasons , but I won't bore you to death! Honestly... A fan probably bought this and sent it to the company PO box... The top notes are bergamot and lemon. Which is very acidic and citrusy, like a sudden jolt when you inhale. Crackle even. The middle notes are labdanum(woody smelling resin from a species of rockrose) and amber. This makes it have a very inviting and somewhat... Almost animalistic... In a good way. Kind of wild and a little... Dangerous. But it lingers around because if Natsuki is wearing it there's nothing to worry about... Right? The base notes are vanilla, patchouli, sandalwood, and musk. This is where that charm really shines through for me Natsuki wise. It's delicate and masculine, still inviting and strong just like he is.

Natsuki wishes he could hold you all the time... Satsuki has other intentions...

Cecil Aijima

Oro Verde by House of BŌ Unisex Perfume 175 USD // 26,159 Yen

Unfortunately Cecil is a victim of the green apple craze. I do not think green apple suits him at all it is such a childish thing. Something I would get at Claire's. So I choose this. Which is very simple but I also do not see Cecil as someone who would wear a lot of cologne? He doesn't want to rub stuff on his skin that isn't natural so he probably dabs this on his clothes or staff will ask to put it behind his ears/on his wrists. The top notes are bergamot, cannabis, mate- LOWER YOUR PITCHFORKS! Cannabis smell when it is unburned has an earthy scent to it. Somewhat sticky and almost like fresh cut grass. When it is burned that's when you get the skunk and garlic... Okay? Middle notes are basil, watermelon, and vetiver sables (earthy like rotten log smell). This with the light scent of lingering fruit really makes me smile it has a very fresh smell which I really like. Like the scent of your skin when you sunbathe. And finally the base notes are herbals and spices (I don't want to list off all of the plants). When they say spice that actually is in reference to black pepper! Which all together is so wonderful to smell. And Cecil is a prince so of course he smells good.

The fresh scent lingers on your clothes, just as Cecil had hoped!~!

Masato Hijirikawa

Quasar Ice by O Boticárioro Masculine Cologne 50 USD // 7,474 Yen

Of course our ice prince gets something ice themed. I did not want to give Masato something expensive like the others just because I don't think he is into luxury items. I am not suggesting the others are... I am implying that he doesn't think to hard about cologne. As long as it smells nice for a meeting he won't mind. The only issue is that this is an alcohol base so he would spray it gently... Leaving a nice fade out. No dousing... The top notes are ice (this is hard to explain but it is the molecule that allows you to smell cold air), lime, sage, and cardamom. So in other words... A store bought key lime pie! I wanted something sweet for Masato since I think he is a very sweet guy, even if he doesn't look like it. The middle notes are cedar, black pepper, bourbon geranium, and lavender. This will reminisce a nice winter walk though the forest! And the base notes are oakmoss, amber, sandalwood, and cashmere. So after your frozen pie and a chilly walk, it's like you've returned to a nice cozy cabin with him at the end of the night...

To think that even Masato could wear something so romantic...

Tokiya Ichinose

Midnight by Rawchemistry Masculine Cologne/Pheromones' 30 USD // 4,485 Yen

My original choice for Tokiya was something different. However I cannot find the original scent and nor do I think it truly fits the Tokiya that lives in my mind anymore. So, I chose this. It is also not an alcohol base which I think Tokiya would like because he is overly conscious and critical of everything he eats/wears/does. And this is technically pheromones. Not cologne. So there aren't really top, middle and base notes. Just an overall scent. And that would be; lavender, orange blossoms, patchouli and vanilla. And if you didn't know... All four of these are aphrodisiacs. The usual notes used in cologne are made in fact to attract. But these all together are made with the intent to seduce if that makes sense since there are no other ingredients to note. Is Tokiya a sexual character? No. But he is designed and written to have that form of charm without directly saying it. So that is also why I chose this. He is very confident with what he does as an idol. So... He wants you to understand that without him saying it...

Maybe there is some appeal to Tokiya after all... Just kidding...

Syo Kurusu

Sahara Rose Absolute by Habibi NY Unisex Perfume 135 USD // 20,180 Yen

So... Usually Syo will have a rose scented item. Which... I personally like a lot actually. He is a character designed to not fit into most traditionally masculine stereotypes while still being very masculine. So I chose this scent because it sort of replicates what I think his actual character scent actually is and what he would like to wear. Although I regret to inform the masses that he used to drown himself in Axe body spray... Thankfully he's grown now and he knows that shit was wack. The top notes are Turkish rose, geranium, jasmine and black currant. Very floral and very delicate which is so pleasant when it lingers. The middle notes are pink pepper, saffron, incense, and agar wood. These are spicy and semi-sweet, the balance between femininity and masculinity. The incense offering a powdery-ness that makes it not overwhelming. And finally the base notes are musk, sandalwood, vetiver, and amber. Very sensual at the end, and again not overpowering. I love the balance it has personally and this one was my 'absolute' favorite.

Even though Syo is so strong... He still leaves that rose colored hue behind...

Favorite ship? Personally, I prefer isafrin, but I think they’re all neat. I also really like exploring the non-romantic relationships! This game shows that intimacy and romance aren’t essential for happiness and companionship, and I really cherish that.

Favorite silly? That’s a tough one, it’s hard to pick just one! I think I’m gonna go with Bonnie, though. Bonnie’s definitely one of my favorite sillies.

Favorite trauma? Hmmm… There are a lot of ‘em. Guess it depends on my mood. Does Mal du Pays in itself count? I really like Mal du Pays. Maybe too much. At one point I was thinking “Hmm, Mal du Pays. Yes.” and a whole AU came out of it, basically.

North Island headcanons? Ah, yes, The Country (TM). I like imagining that people from the Forgotten Country are just. Literal star people. Like actually people that came from stars. Also that they were probably more technologically advanced, and they used Wish Craft a lot but on a smaller scale (with more people making wishes, the power was more evenly distributed and big dangerous wishes were less of an issue), which led to them placing very high value in the saying “Be careful what you wish for” and commonly seeing greed and selfishness as one of the worst flaws a person could have. (Semi-unrelated but I would also really like to see more about the other countries like Poteria and Mwudu)

For any miscellaneous thoughts… I love thinking about Sadnesses. My AU has some significant focus on them and expands on them a lot, and I’m hoping I’ll get around to posting it at some point (it’ll be on @spiraling-stardust though lol). Also I love seeing people write Siffrin and Loop with a twins dynamic, like a chaos duo with a shared braincell, I absolutely love it. If anyone has any ideas for different kinds of Craft that weren’t introduced in the game, I’d love to hear about that too (after all, there’s supposedly enough to fill entire books with! I think Sound Craft and Illusion Craft should be a thing).

My brother is the most Loop-coded person I know, and since I plan on cosplaying Siffrin for Halloween, he called me stardust ONCE and suddenly it’s literally my name now in some places. Wtf why did we accidentally assign each other to kin two of the most mentally ill characters ever why did this happen. Sometimes we even do the phone hand thing when we talk to each other. Note: I’m trying to explore my SoulEaterXGenshin AU with this headcanon/fic. Sorry that it got kinda sloppy at the end!! I’ll probably publish my overview of the au sometime but I keep on adding to it with many big-brain ideas. I’ll be opening requests for the au or just suggestions or questions about it! The next character I’ll be exploring will be Zhongli because I’ve been basing all my Archon headcanons with him, so it’ll be the easiest to write for! Also, I wrote this with Y/N being a chain spear weapon but it’s only brought up once, so g/n weapon?

The tales from the few delusion weapons that have worked with Childe tell of the many bloodbaths they’ve witnessed. Stories ranging from how he laughed as an enemy begged for mercy before reveling in the final blow to the wet sounds of the blood splashing underneath his shoes following where ever he went. But you could never guess that the man who killed hundreds of Meisters and weapons with only his vision and delusion was the same with the ever-so-charming laugh and showed the utmost kindness to his family. The complete 180 in personality from a cold-blooded murderer to a charming young man could give anyone whiplash. Childe has never sought to make a contract with a weapon himself, only ever using his vision, which changed upon meeting you. 

He first took an interest in you when he was stationed in Lyiue, helping to collect debtors who had been causing issues for the Fatui. This client has been failing to repay the loan they took from the Northland Bank for a few months, so it was up to him to step in where his lackeys failed. But what he didn’t expect was for you to step between him and your friend. You’ve known of Fatui’s methods of collecting a debt; many people ‘suddenly go missing’ after getting behind on their payments. So when you saw your meister being cornered by one of them, you couldn’t just stand aside. Pleading, begging almost, that you would get the money to repay them, you just needed more time. 

He admired your will to be able to stand up to a harbinger. The wildfire that lit up your eyes caused his pulse to skip a beat, like the adrenaline rush from battle. That was the day your ‘love’ story began. 

His interest in you only grew the longer he watched you. How do you take up various jobs around Liuye to help your friend with their due debts? He was thrilled beyond belief when he watched you help clear out some hillcurlers bothering an elderly couple on the outskirts of town. The question of if he would ever make a contract with a weapon came back to him as he saw your arm shift into a chain spear. You moved akin to a dance, moving your body to the rhythm of your attacks, doing quick work of the hillcurlers. He was so fixated on you that he didn’t even notice how he had started to shake in anticipation and a growing beaming smile that uncannily stretched his face. 

After his little watching session, he researched everything about you that he could find, memorizing the tiniest details from your favorite flower to your preferred sleeping position. He even went as far as to show up unexpectedly by you, revealing how your body went stiff. He’d try his charms on you, mixing flirtatious remarks with the ever-so-present time limit until the debt was due. He was quickly becoming somewhat of an acquaintance, much to your disappointment. But what he didn’t think of (or want) was finding out that the friend he initially came to get debt from was your meister. He’d show at night when your returning from a job, taking advantage of your worn-out self to try and plant seeds of doubt in your mind about how you are so much better than your current meister. It didn’t matter whatever relationship you had with this person; the only thing that mattered was that they were in his way of making you his.

The cool night air served as a sort of tranquility that you could lose yourself in any day. That is if there wasn’t a menace walking beside you, serving as a walking reminder of the approaching due date for the mora. You had lost interest in whatever he was talking about, being too exhausted from clearing out monsters for the past few hours to care. You didn’t need to be nagged and taunted by some harbinger who took it upon himself to annoy you daily. 

Your autopilot walking was interrupted when the ginger abruptly stepped in front of you, leaning down to be at eye level with you. “I don’t get it, really,” he began, staring at you as if he could look into your soul for an answer, “ Why do you even stay with that meister? You’re practically being held back by them. You need someone more...experienced than them!” He chuckled, seeing you glare at him, trying to sidestep around him, but he got in front of you again. Being so close to his face, you could see his eyes' hollowness that you didn’t notice before. “Someone like me.” With how quickly he changed, he returned to the annoying carefree Childe you were used to—laughing at how you looked like you saw a ghost. 

The rest of the walk had a heavy air as his words echoed in your head.

When the extended time limit came, you and your meister brought the exact amount to the Northland bank where childe was uncharacteristically quiet when the sack of mora was laid out in front of him. You can feel as if time had stopped when Childe presents that while you had gotten the payment for the loan, it had increased in the extended time he gave you. But he is not anything but generous and offers a compromise, saying he’ll erase all of your meisters debt if you agree to unify your contract with them and, in return, make one with him♡.

You’re both stunned and bewildered by his proposal. However, from how a sly smile creeps up on his face, you know he means every word. The audacity of the man in front of you. He so casually dehumanized you into a simple object that could be traded in a contract. Thankfully you and your meister both rejected his proposal, asking if there was anything else. 

He pretended to ponder the idea before stating that there was a way to settle this fairly, practically eating up your full undivided attention on him. He would challenge your meister to a duel, hardly hiding the fact that this was his plan. The vision at his hip pulsing to life as your meister begrudgingly accepted. You could only watch as the gruesome match began. You wanted to look away so many times as the screams of your now late meister rang through the air.

You didn’t even notice the tears streaming down your face as Childe walked to you, his prize. Staring down at you with those soulless eyes looked down at your crouched figure. He took off his bloodied glove and brushed your tears off as he cradled your cheek. Tilting your face upwards to meet his gaze, “I look forward to our newly formed contract (first)!” beaming a smile that didn’t match his void-like eyes. 

Childe would make you his right hand in the Fatui, taking you away from Lyiue to his home in Snezhnaya. He doesn’t need to chain you down when your contract does it for him, detailing your obedience to stay by his side. He takes pride in wielding your weapon form, proving that he is better than your old partner. That you should be thankful, he decided to help bring out your true potential, only under him, of course. You’ve taken to just trying to block out all the cries and screams of the people victim to the harbinger, though you haven’t been able to wash the iron smell from you for months now. 

New rumors of the infamous 11th Harbinger started circling through the low-ranking members and weapons in the Fatui. Tales of how where ever he fought, there would only be him and his weapon standing victor in the end. Dancing in a blood-filled ballroom, the red floor reflecting the sinful dance like a mirror—capturing how his hands tighten around your hand and waist, pulling you along to his rhythm—a mere victim to the beat of his war drum.

i personally agree and relate so much with buck’s adhd + anxiety specifically so i was just wondering if you could go more in depth with those headcanons? adhd buck is so important to me and reading about it and talking gives ME dopamine lol. oooh and the volume control like getting called out on it would so trigger his RSD! and everyone LOVES going to trivia with him for sure hahah sorry this kind of turned into my headcanons but yeah what do you think??!

I'll answer that second ask you sent in separately because Oh Boy do I have some Opinions to share on all of it.

I absolutely adore getting to just sit down and scream about characters and their habits and their mental health and how it all ties together. And Buck has given me PLENTY to work with since I started the show. But specifically focusing in on his ADHD & anxiety & RSD?

Not only does he hyperfixate on random stuff that has no use he CANONICALLY does research on natural disasters after he's lived through them - he did so with the tsunami, he did so with the earthquakes. He even canonically references researching volcanos after the wildfire crossover with Lone Star where he made the trip to Austin to help. This man is a walking encyclopedia of information on natural disasters and traumas. But it's very much a coping mechanism. It's a "I survived this and I have no clue how or why, so I have to understand what the odds were and I need to be able to be prepared and help others better if I ever live through another one of these". It's a "if I understand this and why it happens and how best to survive it, then it holds no power over me". It's a "I can't be scared of this so I have to understand it instead." It's the kind of coping mechanism that I've only ever seen in people who have ADHD or autism - statistics over fear, because fear can only cause harm ESPECIALLY as a first responder. Fear can come later, accept he tries not to ever let it because that makes him weak in his eyes.

The anxiety definitely stims from childhood trauma - look at his parents and Maddie and tell me that their behaviors weren't the root cause of so many of Buck's bad habits and I'll call you a liar. His parents are the reason he's so reckless. His parents AND Maddie are the reason Buck 1.0 was clinging so tightly to the label of sex addict because it was hard for him to admit that he didn't feel good enough after being left behind by everyone he'd ever had in his entire life. And don't take this as me talking poorly on Maddie, but she's also the reason why Buck latched on so tightly to Abby. And Ali. And Taylor. And the 118 crew. She left when he was a teenager, left him with parents that they both knew were awful, and he kind of internalized it and now a few years down the line it's crippling anxiety and abandonment issues and he doesn't have an outlet for any of that. And I could go on for hours about how his childhood contributed to him being semi-verbal at best, and about how much of how he defines himself ties into how he was defined as a kid, but that'll have to be a whole other post because there are so many intricacies to it that it deserves it's own thing.

His RSD. Oh I love the portrayal they give for his RSD. Because it's not just canceled plans and being overlooked that send him spiraling like so many people assume when they hear the phrase. It's someone's tone changing or someone pulling away too soon when he gets comfortable showing affection. It's how he held on so tight until he just couldn't anymore when Abby left because she said she'd come back and she's never lied to me before so she'll come back, everyone else is being dramatic. I just have to wait.

It's how well he just gave all of himself to Ali. She helped him find a place to live. Helped him furnish it in a way that is shockingly out of character for Buck - none of those decorations when he was with her felt like him in the slightest.

It was how he tried to twist and change himself and his relationships to make things with with Taylor. He didn't bring Eddie up to her often, didn't bring her up to Eddie unless he could avoid it, didn't talk about work, let her use his place and his information and his everything to do her job even though it got him questioned there at the end by the Department about who her sources were. And it's there in how hesitant he was to end things. How much he looked like he was fighting himself when he did end things.

His volume control is such a small thing that never gets called out in the fandom posts I do see - the 118 is wonderful at it once they know him, they know ways to point it out without sending him into a tailspin. It's always a gentle cup to the shoulder or elbow or a gentle nudge of shoulder to shoulder or a soft redirection that requires a softer voice somewhere else. It's never a "you're being too loud" or an annoyed glance from them.

From people they save, though? Buck stutters a lot more around people they work to save, he's always trying to be conscious of everything because he's gotten those looks or gotten those annoyed comments time and time and time again until it's become one of his biggest insecurities.

He gives every bit of himself to everything he does, and it definitely makes his RSD worse when that just isn't enough.

Game of Thrones/HotD: This show ended in a trash fire, but it literally lives in my head rent free. The political intrigue, the drama. Ugh. I'm a targ girlie through and through, so I've been eating up HotD, though it's nowhere near as good imo. Am also currently reading the 1st ASOIAF book.

YA lit/Whatever I'm reading/watching: I've read almost 50 books this year so far, and am frankly, insane. Bonus points for queer reads! Not many people to talk about books to irl, so might ramble about them on here instead. Also watch a lot of random TV drama and some anime.

mike and fritz are known as the “experienced ones” because they’re both known to be in healthy long-term relationships. while fritz has no problem handing out advice to those who ask, mike feels awkward being approached for it since the only relationship he’s ever had is with doll lol

mike could totally never picture himself as a dad. not only did he feel inexperienced since he didn’t have a dad of his own to use as an example, but he just thought he’d do a shitty job. needless to say, when doll got pregnant, he did a complete 180 and not only made a great dad, but would also brag to anyone with ears about his kid

william is into milfs lmao (probably because he was marie’s boy toy)

because jeremy’s parents were a fairly dysfunctional couple themselves, jeremy really admires mike and doll’s relationship and always hopes that any of his relationships are just like theirs (awww)

(it makes sense why fritz never mentioned her name, because his gf is actually a semi-famous “adult model.” they met while he was bartending at his other job. he’s now known as the lucky guy who gets to date a hot model.)

astraea: i have a lot of personal headcanons about her childhood that honestly will probably never come up in the campaign, but i will say that she set one of her brother's friends on fire when she was younger after the friend broke her arm - she wasn't able to do it again after that for a long time, but something about that moment unlocked something in her. shortly after she started to get her telepathy and other tiefling things, which continued to set her apart, but the fire incident really solidified her as an outsider to the other drow kids 💫

st. valentine: ze uses the moments when ze's angry at hir party members to practice hir breakup songs. not that ze's ever gone through a break up but ze assumes the emotion is the same 💕

I have not been many years at home so these might be images of them, and not truly how they were.”

“I have not been with them for a long time, until recently. Blackfire has apparently become evil, she seems to always be acting with the intention to bring Starfire suffering or harm. Sei is the first son of Ibusaki Shun and Sakaki Ryoko. He has his mother’s magenta hair and father’s slate grey eyes

Hawaiian shirts and Totsuki ties. Hawaiian shirts. He has an incorrigible belief that there is not enough color at Totsuki (obviously he hasn’t seen his hair lol) and therefore only wears the brightest colors possible. Sei can typically be seen in the early morning running daily laps around Legislation wearing his prized Birkenstocks

When he’s in the dorm or at Nakiri Mansion, however, he wears turtlenecks and sweatpants (with Birkenstocks)

Cooking in front of an audience is Seijuro’s true forte. He makes an elaborate live show out of every dish, spinning around in his basketball shorts, Hawaiian shirt, Totsuki tie, and Birkenstocks. Sei does not wear aprons lol but at the Autumn Elections, the Nakiri cousins persuaded Auden to coerce Seijuro into wearing at least semi-formal attire but he showed up in a flamboyant flannel instead. Wild af

He started getting into Spanish cuisine after he discovered Dia de los Muertos and the colorful calaveras, and he makes a point of making pan de muerto for the Nakiri-PSD members every year to celebrate the holiday. The only death he’s celebrating, though, is the death of Auden’s sanity (more on that later)

By virtue of his parents’ sake and smoked foods empire, he also dabbles in their specialties but he won’t be the heir to their company (working title IbuSakaki if I can arrange the kanji properly LOL). His max is fermenting sake for gang parties but after the SenAudpocalypSei (Sena + Auden + Seijuro + apocalypse), he starts smoking cigarettes and this is what really drives the final wedge between him and Auden

Sei and Auden stagiaire with the brothers Aldini and they learn how to use a mezzaluna. Extremely proficiently

One night he and his best bro Auden get on the drunker side despite both of them being notorious heavyweights, and they go to a tattoo shop and Sei gets six piercings in one ear. And two on the other. He doesn’t even notice until like six days later when one of the helixes on his left ear gets infected

Sei is the girl magnet of the school, and most people assume that he has like 593 girlfriends (or at least 593 girls that he fools around with), but in reality he’s almost always been in love with Marui Sena, and he’s actually not as much of a fuckboy as his reputation explicity states implies. But rep is rep, and he loves being the center of attention, so he lets the rumors spread like wildfire. And he does have a hoe-ish personality but this is completely repressed as soon as Sena transfers into gen 120 for high school

Sei’s one true weakness is his loyalty to Auden and his affections for Sena. Ultimately, his attempt to keep both on either side of him will serve as a catalyst for the SenAudpocalypSei and they’ll tear Totsuki up by its roots

He hangs out with Nakiri Jouichirou a lot (Asahi’s son, 117th gen and serving as the youngest lecturer in the history of Totsuki) and eventually learns the Crossed Knives technique from him. Jou acts more like an older brother than a professor to Sei and they grow extremely close

Kurokiba Auden, would-be Planet Earth narrator

Auden is the only child of Kurokiba Ryo and Nakiri Alice. When he was born, Souma and Erina were in that hazy pre-dating phase and so Alice and Ryo were unsure if the Sorina baby would be named Nakiri or Yukihira. They decided not to name their kid Nakiri Auden because Alice would do anything to avoid a repeat of the Nakiri cousins conflict (she inevitably has lingering resentments from being in Erina’s shadow for the first 18 years of her life) but Auden is the legal heir to the Nakiri-Totsuki Group. Obviously, Ryoali had no idea that Yukihira Kaede would end up not even being in the culinary business lol

The only potential competition for Auden’s inheritance ends up becoming Nakiri Jouichirou, who is the only one in the family from the next era who carries the Nakiri name. But Jouichirou is completely disinterested in running the empire so Auden has no trouble assuming the throne later on

Auden’s eyes are different reds. His heterochromia isn’t as noticeable as Kaede’s but his left eye is a few shades darker than his right. Especially after he joins the Elite Ten and gets no sleep (dark circles lol), he looks exactly like his dad but with shorter hair (think Central Arc but shorter). He uses his dad’s bandana on occasion but it only returns him to normal function. His voice is literal heaven. He could’ve been a narrator for Planet Earth.

He’s extremely soft and mild mannered, with none of his mother’s (and his father’s, to be fair) eccentricities. Auden is the most responsible out of the Elite Ten and pretty much the entire cast of the Genesis verse, 92′ers included. He has no emotional extrema (part of the reason why the bandana hardly affects him) and this is a relief for his parents, because it lessens his chances of dissociation and fugue

Auden specializes in Danish cuisine from a bit of a molecular standpoint, resulting from his time in the lab with his mom

In his second year of middle school, he dips a week to compete at national swim competition in Osaka and easily wins. He’s sponsored by Totsuki’s Sports Association and its founder/pres, Luc Tadokoro-Aldini

When he was younger, Auden spent a lot of time with Auntie Hisako, who drilled a whole bunch of medicinal knowledge into him because being a Ryoali child is a hazardous occupation so later when he meets Sei he finds out abt his smoking (Auden thought smoking as in cigarettes but Sei meant smoking as in food) and makes Sei promise not to smoke. It’s their first and only promise as best bros, and Sei picking up cigarettes in 3rd year pretty much destroys their friendship

Auden cuts the sleeves off of every t-shirt he owns, and ripped jeans are kind of his thing. Unlike Seijuro, who at least wears the Totsuki tie, Auden does not own a single article of the school uniform lol but Dean Hayama pretends not to notice

His goal is to be head chef for one of Tsukasa Eishi’s restaurants. This is pretty much the trigger for SenAudpocalypSei

I won’t go into too much detail about the SenAudpocalypSei bc that’ll take center stage in Renaissance anyhow but a vague summary is that Auden puts his career over his friends and Sei completely loses faith in him. Although the conflict stems from Auden’s career goals, it ends up revolving mostly around the love triangle between Seijuro, Auden, and Sena; ultimately they destroy a lot of the Totsuki dynamic that developed under Arato-Hayama Hikari’s tenure as first seat

My problem with the way fandom does Former Archangel!Crowley

I have further thoughts on the whole Raphael!Crowley semi-fanon thing that’s happening these days. See, my problem is not that it exists—it’s a perfectly understandable thing to think, and it was what I thought myself when I first read the book, so I’d be a hypocrite to say people shouldn’t headcanon Crowley as being Raphael’s new form[1].

That being said, lately this fanon has been bugging me, not on the basis on its existence but rather because of the way the fandom (or what I’ve seen of it) seems to handle it. It feels/seems to me like as soon as that headcanon appears, the attention shifts away from Crowley and focuses on Raphael instead, like fans are so obsessed with who Crowley might have been that the stop thinking about who he is. It makes me uncomfortable, honestly, because every time I’ve given a ‘Raphael!Crowley’[2] fic a go, the plot seems to revolve entirely on his former name...in fact, I’d even go so far as to call it his dead name.

Crowley’s story, for me, hits a lot of beats of the trans experience—at the very least, of my trans experience. We all start out asking questions, much like Crowley did, and an awful lot of trans people are reprimanded for asking too many (wrong) questions about the ~natural order~ of things[3] much like Crowley was. He’s kicked out of Heaven, falls in with a bad crowd—which is not an automatism but not exactly impossible for actual trans people too—and spends a certain amount of time trying too hard to be bad until he realizes he can be somewhere in the middle—much like a lot of trans men go hyper masculine for a while until they re-accept some of their femininity or, I imagine, like trans women might present hyper feminine until they are in a situation where it is no longer as necessary to their survival.

So, yes, Crowley actually feels very trans to me[4] and the obsession fandom has (or seems to have, from my window) with his past and who he was before he Fell, to the point where this discarded identity seems to be the main focus in every fic I’ve read that dealt with it[5] makes me terribly uncomfortable, not because it’s malicious but because it’s pervasive and, frankly, very reflective of casually transphobic behavior.

And you know, I realize not everyone will have the same interpretation as mine and that’s fine I just thought I’d...put it all out there—see if maybe I’m not the only one who feels like that and/or if it sparks a discussion of sorts.

[1] Though upon thinking back on this, I feel like the news of an Archangel Falling would have spread like wildfire, and iirc the book is like ‘no one knows what happened to Raphael’ so unless we assume Heaven was even more messed up than previously though (i.e. that the higher ups know but are covering it up) that’s not exactly an interpretation that works for me anymore. I like to image Raphael had a similar path to Aziraphale’s though, not Falling for whatever reason, but kind of walking away all the same, except faster and more purposefully.

[2] To be honest, I don’t even like the tag. I realize it’s a descendant of well-established tagging convention and much shorter (and thus, more practical) than any other option, but I know for a fact that Former Archangel!Crowley wouldn’t leave me with the same bitter aftertaste, even if I knew for a fact all of these fics referred to Crowley-as-formerly-Raphael.

[3] Not necessarily in a violent way, mind, but dismissing the validity of that kind of questions has the same effect. At least, I distinctly remember feeling reprimanded when my mother used to brush my comments about not feeling like a girl aside.

[5] Ironically enough, more than one of them more-or-less accidentally has Crowley react to angels trying to call him Raphael the same way I’d react to being misgendered and/or dead-named.

Hello! I did write that and very much stand by it, haha. Unfortunately, I haven’t read too much fic for this fandom to begin with, but I think I’m going to try looking for this specifically now because it’s a fascinating relationship.

Oooh, opinions and headcanons… I’m going to talk about show!Cersei specifically, not only because she’s a completely different person from her book counterpart in many ways, but because her relationship to her father is entirely different in the two versions. Book!Cersei loves Tywin because he’s her father even if she resents him occasionally. She tries to do what he does mostly by directly mimicking his actions and, according to people watching from the sidelines, it’s not too effective; plus, she’s not the ruling monarch.

Show!Cersei, on the other hand, sees him as a role model more than anything, IMO. I don’t want to talk about Tywin Lannister; I don’t choose Tywin Lannister. He keeps the family together, he’s intimidating and therefore useful for protection, but the moment he turns on her and her children, she immediately drags him out of his self-imposed denial and threatens to take their entire house down with her if he tries anything because she’s had enough. Her main accusation to Tyrion is not that he killed their father, but that he left them open by doing so. She doesn’t mimic him, but she does learn from what she’s heard, uses it to her advantage during her reign (successfully, again according to people watching from the sidelines) and, to be honest, grows out of what he is in certain areas. She’s definitely a better parent, at least. He’s an example that she learns from and follows, but it’s obvious she thinks Tyrion counts as more of a family to her, even when she hates him, than Tywin ever did.

So yeah, I’d say Qyburn really is the closest she’s got to an actual parental figure.

Harsh as it might sound, I don’t think Tywin loved any of his children past the potential glory they could bring to the family name and Cersei was a key part of that, considering that he outright denied Tyrion what was his by right and Jaime swore his life away to the Kingsguard. She was used as the prize he could offer to anyone he wanted an alliance with, over and over again, her entire life, and that was about it. He belittled her at every turn while flaunting the fact that she wouldn’t really get a choice about her own future. The only thing he offered in return were vague promises of how she was doing her part for their House and was therefore all the more important for it and she responded by obeying until it became too much, she snapped, promptly dropped all pretenses and outright said that she didn’t care about what he had planned for her because she gets to choose who her family consists of.

On the other hand, there’s her dynamic with Qyburn, who helped her and advised her out of her more regrettable decisions and literal nightmarish situations, always made sure she was safe and did everything in his power to come to a solution that would benefit her most in any political move she made. In return her got her complete, dare I say unconditional trust and support in the experiments and work he did, both for the crown in later seasons and all the way back in s4, when to her he really was just a supposedly disgraced Maester with a lot of uncanny ideas and to him, she must have been the slightly shifty Queen Regent with a lot of questions and requests that she wouldn’t dare voice in front of anyone else (see things like the Mountain post-trial and then the wildfire). Comparing that to her relationship with her actual father… I mean, there’s barely any grounds for comparison, isn’t there?

Headcanon

At one point after their reunion and during both of their stays on Earth, Starfire has introduced Wildfire to the Pudding of Sadness. Or, well, more like forced it upon him in a way similar to how she ‘offered’ it to Beast Boy one time in the cartoon (episode Divide and Conquer).

Wildfire was very displeased, shocked by the sudden 'assault’ even, refused to eat anything for like a day afterwards, and it actually was enough to briefly strain their relationship in a way that he felt very nervous and uncertain and just odd about being with her.

On a positive note, the whole experience had indeed brought him away from the sadness that was reason for the whole thing.
