He didn't spend a lot of time in the main city, but he'd agreed to help at the flower shops and it'd take a few days to get everything moved and organized and transported. Andreas was also the only one besides her friends who Cadenza trusted to not rat her out and told him about her strange encounter outside the city the previous day. He'd been keeping an eye out for the stranger she'd talked to, but hadn't expected much.

At least until he had been moving several boxes of supplies from one shop to another and realized someone matching Cadenza's description was just traipsing around the streets like she owned the place. Maybe he'd given a little too much attention to figuring out if it was her, because the four boxes in his arms slipped and hit the ground.

Zuko moved with steady discipline. The courtyard stones beneath his feet were cool with morning dew, but heat shimmered in the air around him. With each breath, fire whispered at his heels, curling up from his palms, trailing like ribbons from the arc of his kicks. He stepped into a wide stance, exhaled sharply, and drove his fist forward. Flame erupted in a controlled burst, bright and fierce before it vanished into steam against the cool dawn.

Again. Pivot. Strike.

A wheel of fire spun around him, dissipating into the wind as quickly as it appeared. No wasted energy. No wild flares. Every movement was honed. Purposeful, controlled, balanced. The scar on his face tingled slightly with the rush of heat, but he paid it no mind. He flowed into the next form, breath steady, flames dancing at his fingertips.

Kira knew her attention should be focused on her surroundings, keeping an eye out for any potential attacker...but she couldn't help but watch the Fire Lord as he trained. As he bended...with fire, an element she had grown to despise. But he didn't seem to bend like the firebenders who had attacked her sisters in the past. It felt more like an art form than an actual combat technique, watching him practice his forms.

She didn't know if she was awestruck or envious of the Fire Lord's skill with his element. It was beautiful, honestly... Not at all like any firebending she had witnessed in the past. It was like a dance...one that greatly contrasted the movements of waterbending that she had been learning in secret all her life.

Flawless bending... She wished she could learn to be so skilled in her own element. But at the same time, envy gave way to wonder as she watched each flaming thrust, each fiery kick. " Wonder what it's like... " she muttered under her breath.

Attempting to introduce the rest of my OCs from This is Not A Fairytale with this very messy and ugly moodboard. From top to bottom, left to right.

The girl was a Time Lord, that much was clear; why she was on this backwater junkyard planet was another. What were the odds? Two Time Lords - an endangered species at this point - running into each other on a planet without a name, known only to those who were either on the run, about the be, or taking advantage of those in dire straights. The Rani frequented this dump for parts she could get for cheap without running into bureaucracy. The golden age of Miasimia Goria had long since ended, and while she had more than enough money to buy whatever she needed she did slightly resent the inefficiency of having to get it herself.

She hadn't paid any attention to the blonde until they'd briefly bumped hands while scanning a cart full of miscellaneous - but surprisingly useful - robotic junk. The Rani had tensed up at the realization the contact brought, but hadn't commented. She'd then quickly payed for the parts she'd picked out and made her way to a seperate outdoor shop. She didn't turn to watch the girl - that would be too obvious - but she did keep her in mind. Something about her seemed very familiar, though she couldn't pinpoint why.

...It wasn't of importance. She had an experiment to get to, and it would take hours to build the mechanical components necessary from it with the scraps she had. She decided to ignore her curiosity about the girl's situation, and instead started trekking to her TARDIS, which was currently disguised as a rundown, scrap-metal hut about half a mile away. As she headed towards it, she passed the girl once more.
