confession: i’ve had the hangul keyboard for years and the reason I keep it is to make

흣 :ㅈ :ㅇ :ㅁ ㄴㅇㄴ :ㅂ etc

at first it was to learn the alphabet as the first step to learning korean but the farthest i got was learning how to type in korean. it��s very intuitive and has stuck with me all these years. so i can (with time) type into a translator a korean phrase i see and want to understand, if copy paste or highlight to translate isn’t an option. but most of the time those are an option and my single useful skill with the keyboard is unneeded. but at least i have the faces and hat-person

i love making fun faces with hangul. such as -->

(ㅇㅅㅇ) earless dogy or perhaps other animal

(흐ㅡ흐) tired man aka me

(ㅇㄴㅇ) man with big nose aka me

(으ㅁ으) screaming man with eye bags aka me

many such whimsical faces can be created with this beautiful alphabet.

but yea it's a very intuitive alphabet imo too n i hope my occasional posts in korean help you dust off ur korean writing skills
