Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum shows results of the insane inhumane atomic bomb attack against Hiroshima city on August 6th, 1945 which killed more than 300,000 people. Every city mayor of Hiroshima has been sending the Letter of Protest to each nuclear test around the globe, which the copies were exhibited on the wall of the Museum.

I cried when I saw the heavily burnt child’s tricycle, when you realize the owner had absolutely no chance to survive the nuclear radiation and heat.

Not pleasant, but it is a must visit place for everyone in the world.

Additionally, the atomic bomb that fell on Nagasaki on August 9, 1945 detonated in Urakami Cathedral only 500 m (1640 ft) from the cathedral, completely destroying it. As the Feast of the Assumption of Mary (August 15) was near, Mass was held on the day and was well attended. The resultant collapse and heat-wave cindered and buried all those present in the Cathedral. Approximately 80,000 killed in Nagasaki by this atomic bomb.

On our way back home from the wisteria garden in Kyushu, we stopped by Hiroshima and visited the atomic bomb memorial.

We should never repeat the same tragedy.

And I would strongly recommend all the tourists to Japan to visit Hiroshima.

Oh by the way, the rose garden near the Peace memorial is a gift from the Dutch government:) It was very pretty.

存在感がすごい。

というか、原爆ドームっていうネーミングって、

かなり強烈だと思うんですが、それがもうそこにあるのが当たり前になっているこの場所がほんとうにすごいと感じました。

そして園内にはハトがすごくたくさんいました。
