Rainer Maria Rilke (1875–1926) studied literature, art history, and philosophy in both Munich and Prague and is often considered one of the German language's greatest twentieth-century poets. His two most famous verse sequences are the Sonnets to Orpheus and the Duino Elegies; his two most famous prose works are Letters to a Young Poet and the semiautobiographical The Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge. 

查理·勞斯 (Charlie Louth) 是牛津大學女王學院的研究員，以德語授課。他是《荷爾德林與翻譯動力》一書的作者。

Charlie Louth is a fellow at Queen's College, Oxford, where he lectures in German. He is the author of Hölderlin and the Dynamics of Translation.

長照悲歌「 8050」！8旬老嫗顧身障兒50年 崩潰悶死獲輕判

長照悲歌「8050」一詞源自日本社會中，80多歲的父母仍需照顧50多歲的子女，尤其是那些無法自立或失業的子女，「8050」現象反映了人口老化及家庭結構變遷所帶來的挑戰。

「8050」對台灣照護也是一個值得深思的警示。為了避免類似情況的發生，政府與社會應積極採取措施，尤是推動長照服務的公共化，建立更完善的社會支持系統，並減輕家庭照顧者的壓力。

長期以來，許多人將照顧責任視為家庭的義務，但隨著社會結構的改變，單一家庭或弱勢家庭已無法單獨承擔這樣的重責大任。因此，政府應加強長照政策，例如提升長照資源的可及性，增加專業照護人員的培訓及投入，並提供經濟補助或稅收優惠以支持照顧者，社會也應提倡互助文化，鼓勵鄰里間建立支持網絡，共同分擔照顧責任。

未來，長照3.0、4.0甚至更進一步的政策規劃中，應更加注重預防性措施，例如推廣健康老化觀念、支持中年人口的職業再培訓，以及促進多代共居或社區型照護模式。這些措施不僅能減輕家庭負擔，也能減少高齡化社會帶來的經濟壓力。

希望透過政府與社會的共同努力，台灣能有效避免「8050」現象的發生，為每個世代提供更有尊嚴、更有保障的生活環境，不再有長照悲歌發生。

個案新聞報導--長照悲歌！8旬老嫗顧身障兒50年 崩潰悶死獲輕判

長照悲歌！台北市81歲婦人，因長年照顧極重度身心障礙的53歲兒子，身心俱疲，認自己年事已高，難以再照料兒子，在2023年5月母親節前，趁菲籍看護離開空檔，先以1萬元紅包塞進兒子口中，以口水巾摀住兒子口鼻，再以膠帶封住，致兒子窒息死亡。台北地院法庭27日依家暴殺人罪判決婦人2年6月。可上訴。

台北市警松山分局2023年5月12日接獲菲籍看護報案，指轄區內1名患有極重度身心障礙的男子被發現陳屍家中，口鼻有膠帶封住痕跡，79歲的母親坐在床邊哭泣不止，便將林母帶回警局偵詢。婦人坦承殺子，警詢後將婦人送辦。

檢方調查，53歲的林姓男子自幼患有極重度身心障礙，平日��法自理生活，仰賴母親負責照料生活起居至少50年。2023年4月底，婦人因確診新冠肺炎在家自行隔離，想到自己的身體狀況不佳且年事已高，兒子的身體狀況沒有任何起色，深感心力交瘁。

2023年5月11日下午，婦人先前往油漆行購買1捆免割封箱膠帶回家，翌日上午，婦人趁看護離開兒子房間，即將門反鎖，之後將內裝1萬元的紅包袋塞入兒子口中，希望他「一路好走」，並以口水巾摀住兒子口鼻，再以膠帶層層纏繞，致兒子窒息死亡。

看護因發現婦人不見蹤影，林男房間遭反鎖，從家中陽台看見婦人在林男房內哭泣，遂通知家屬趕來，家屬報警處理。
