지난해 2월 첫 방송된 '피크타임'은 아이돌 오디션 사상 최초 '팀전'으로 펼쳐진 서바이벌 프로그램. 무대가 절실한 현역 아이돌부터 빛을 보지 못한 경력단절돌, 해체돌, 신인돌까지 자신들의 실력을 증명할 무대에 올라 뜨거운 경쟁을 벌였다.파이널에 오른 TOP6에게는 피크타임 투어 콘서트 기회가 주어졌다. 이들은 피크타임 콘서트 '유어 타임(YOUR TIME)' 서울 공연을 시작으로 부산과 서울 앵콜 공연에 나섰다. 비록 TOP6 모두가 참석하지는 못했지만 대만, 마카오, 일본, 홍콩 등 해외에서도 공연이 진행됐다. 최종 우승팀은 글로벌 쇼케이스, 앨범 발매, 우승 상금 3억원을 거머쥐었다.

피크타임 출연 그룹의 한 관계자는 "'피크타임' 이후 음악방송에 와주시는 팬분들이 늘었다. 사전녹화를 진행할 때도 많이 와주시고 팬사인회에 응모하시는 분들도 훨씬 늘었다. 국내 뿐만 아니라 일본 팬분들도 많이 사랑해셔서 꾸준히 유의미한 성과를 거두고 있다"며 "새로운 얼굴들이 많이 보여서 유입을 느끼고 있고 너무 감사할 따름"이라고 '피크타임'의 성과를 귀띔하기도 했다.

그렇다면 '피크타임' 1년 여가 지난 지금 TOP6는 어떤 활동을 하고 있을까. 우승팀 배너부터 세븐어스, 팀24시(문종업, 김병주, 희도, GON), 다크비, BAE173, 몬트까지, 이들의 지난 시간을 살짝 짚어봤다. 다만 개개인이 뭉쳤던 팀24시 등 특별한 경우를 제외하고는 그룹 활동을 위주로 정리했다.

배너는 '피크타임' 매회 올 픽(ALL PICK)을 받은 유일한 팀으로, ���이널 라운드에서도 첫 번째로 무대에 올라 1위를 차지하는 쾌거를 이뤘다. 그리고 단연 달콤하고 훌륭한 결과를 맛보는 중이다.

지난해 8월 발매한 첫 번째 미니앨범 '베니비디비쉬(VENI VIDI VICI)'에서 배너는 승리의 깃발을 꽂고 꿈을 향한 항해의 의지를 선보였다. 이는 지난 싱글 3집 '테이크 오프(Take off)' 이후 1년 만의 컴백이자, 배너가 데뷔하고 처음으로 발매하는 미니앨범이면서 '피크타임' 우승 후 첫 컴백이라 더욱 뜻깊은 활동이었다.

베니비디비쉬(VENI VIDI VICI)'에서 승리의 깃발을 꽂고 꿈을 향한 항해의 의지를 선보였다면 올해 배너는 깃발 뺏기 게임을 통해 잭팟을 터트릴 필승 공식을 찾아나선다. 오는 30일 두 번째 미니 앨범 '캡쳐 더 플래그(CAPTURE THE FLAG)'를 발매하는 것. 또한 오는 4월에는 서울 광진구 예스24라이브홀에서 단독 콘서트 '더 플래그 : A TO V'를 개최하고 승리의 항해에 이르기까지 한계 없는 질주에 나설 예정이다.
