Bonus: Big pointer to her current decision to abstain from wearing heavier makeup in public. Bonus: Couldn't resist inserting a few example pics of what I meant when I said she's working the camera and extremely well for her age. Interpretations

ཐི༏ཋྀ󠀮 Downplaying Pamela's popularization of the TV show "Baywatch" is something that's argued a lot for being so "controversial" (or unlikely), when the truth is that introducing her character CJ Parker quite literally boosted the ratings; classic red bathing suit, emerging from the water in that* scene, and overall being a beautiful girl with a personality to match, CJ cemented the show as an American television staple. This role alone surged Pamela into sex symbol status [albeit not a good thing], her credibility and name were on the verge of being taken seriously.

6oP in ↺ drives home the point I brought up earlier, how Pamela's acting career didn't take off due to how the public sexualized her own freewill. The number six in tarot correlates to adjustment, sympathy, and comfort which are interpreted in a negative [or challenging] sense due to the card's position—a reversal in this context indicates Pamela's presence shifting the world's view onto the wrong things. Instead of viewing CJ from the storyline's perspective, society chose to sculpt her into another sexual caricature from Pam's past (Playboy), in turn pivoting her starlight into an unwanted direction.

ཐི༏ཋྀ󠀮 "Barb Wire" was another form of media in which Pamela's most iconic moments (looks) can be found, but with the 6oP in ↺ it wasn't seen as such during the time of filming; might be a stretch but I feel like this card can indicate going back in time, considering the number six is connected to themes of recovery and pentacles are physical/time related, Pam's significance wasn't properly recognized up until the latter half of her acting career (i.e. ignoring her relevance during filming, 1996). I suggest all this because back then Pamela had already faced backlash and disrespect over the leak of private property, hence connected to why the movie tanked.

I'm snowballing this observation, but I did read that onset she had basically been non-prioritized and treated like a prop. Directors were watching her home tape before she arrived, her boundaries were borderline overstepped, and all in all she'd won "Worst New Star" at the Razzie Awards (nominated six times). This card is apparently the definition for why Pamela was constantly dragged for participating (exchange, 6oP) in a project versus applauded for what she did right. The film wasn't Oscar worthy, but other factors that deserved recognition didn't happen due to harsh criticism; costume design and makeup department deserved praise, as well as Pam's dedication to the premiere [and job overall], but alas.

To be honest I'm even channeling that she's behind a few trends [from today or back then] and we just don't know anything about it; not that she's erased, but Pam's significance is a lot more profound than we've been told.

ཐི༏ཋྀ󠀮 Not going into great detail, but 6oP in ↺ is definitely connected to the loss of millions from Pam and Tommy's privacy; a lot of struggle and hardship went into lawsuits at their expense, they practically went to war for their personal life (which was bullshit). Pamela doesn't revisit that point in time rarely at all, but whenever the topic arises, her first response is that she didn't receive/earn "a single red cent" from the invasion. I tried to dodge discussing that considering it's trauma and old wounds (news), but this card drives home the fact that she was barely considered and acknowledged with respect, nonhuman and only an object of desire at the worst times.

𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐄𝐑𝐀 ⟶ KNIGHT OF CUPS

Definition: Offering of peace, restoring faith and happiness, taking action (following your heart), vulnerability (empathy). Pamela's "comeback" has been one that is apparently made with love and appreciation for self, for her fulfillment with life as her own person [and not who she was painted out to be]. Knight of Cups is the beauty behind each step and thought she makes; we're witnessing a rebirth and its testimony.

Interpretations

ཐི༏ཋྀ󠀮 Knight of Cups coming out for this era of her life honestly made me smile, it's because this confirms her contentment with all opportunities that present themselves. Her mindset [and perspective] on the world around her is renewed; her outlook, perspective, and ideal view have been aligned to match her beliefs (i.e. happiness is key). I also feel like this is being presented as her wardrobe or color palette—creams, light pinks, baby blues, florals, etc. Cups are emotional, lightweight (with context), and essentially carefree, this card is Pamela's outer expression in a brighter light and on a higher frequency.

ཐི༏ཋྀ󠀮 I keep being brought to the fact that her new movie is out and in theatres ("The Last Showgirl"), so I can only assume that this project is monumental, or really profound, to Pamela's growth in all things she invests in emotionally. Work, relationships, interests and hobbies, etc. Focus may be locked into those areas for quite some time and it's simply because she's appreciative of the bond she's made with them—connections are of the utmost importance, hence the movie earning a spot in her heart. She's going to be singing praises about the things she's learned onset, how they've helped her understand womanhood ("femininity"), and what it means for her future as an actress, mother, or individual. This energy is really promising and sweet, she's meant to find herself in new experiences and people.

i’m only going to state this once, if you read this let it be known that i’m not joking or being lighthearted in the slightest.

before any and everything, i am a black woman. we are amongst the minority of people that are emotionally/physically abused, disrespected, and disregarded just for existing; punished for being bold, for having pride, for being born. we shake rooms with our presence and make people cower with our demeanor and for that we are punished—all we have is our voice, that’s all we can use to be understood and heard, but more importantly go down with in a fight.

for some strange, intolerable and ill mannered reason, this platform’s communities still goes against our word; paints a narrative and runs with everything but the truth, essentially silencing black women’s voices over and over again. this is what i do not, will not, and never will stand for.

as a black woman, i do defend my people against racism, whether or not it’s subtle, blatant, or undetected—too many of y’all have gone without confrontation and that ends with me, it also ends with my mutuals. we are loud as HELL when it comes to our respect and will continue to be, because if not then who will? a lot of people on this platform are stuck in a mindset that hinders their perception of living, breathing humans but the minute they’re checked it’s white women tears, not on our watch.

idgaf who, what, or how y’all believe, act, or think but know i get ignorant when it’s about mine. i post content and go about my business, but this week has been extremely hectic and broadcast as such because it is DESERVED. i’m not one to be silenced, nobody but myself has the power to do so. if i ever am involved in an online altercation, dispute and interaction know that it’s because it’s my right to use that voice. i talk a lot of shit but it’s never unwarranted; my friends have been lied on and talked about all damn day, but can anyone say we’re in the wrong? if you do then remember that you’re a part of the problem.

come at me with the utmost respect or get met with absolute disrespect, it’s that simple. none of y’all are above getting cussed out and you’re definitely not above God—there is nothing or nobody that can instill fear in my bones, especially if it pertains my expression towards humans alike. many of y’all haven’t been checked but keep on fucking around and you absolutely will.

3AM RAMBLE ON FUGLY LINGERIE AND WHAT I THINK IT MEANS AS A WOMAN🝐

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ This tweet reminded me of an astrological observation I once seen, and it was about how certain transits, planet shifts, and aspects (forgive me I can’t remember—Jupiter in Cancer + Pluto in Aquarius mayhaps?) were pushing the rise of conservatism in today’s society. Examples on social media include tradwife content, uprise in religious devotion (i.e. personal identities being erased for spiritual beliefs), etc.

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ Lingerie’s largest complaint at the moment is that it’s bland, repetitive, and following a trend that’s overly popularized online—undergarments worn for pleasure and sexiness aren’t made with that same appeal. The current approach seems to be catered towards a younger, more innocent audience rather than seductive individuals as it was marketed.

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ Majority of their products incorporate the colors pink and white, have an overload of floral pattern, or are made up of lace and ribbon which evokes the essence [and message] of tradwife core. The color white is starting to mimic bridal beauty in my opinion, half the pieces I came across reminded me of someone getting married. It’s ironic that Victoria’s Secret has a hand in this problem because once upon a time this was the store for the sexiest of the sexiest lingerie—I remember not ever being able to stand inside for too long as a kid, that’s how racy it used to be.

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ All this pink, frilly, girly and cutesie lingerie reminds me of the 1960s fembot—robotic housewives, objects of desire created for male protagonists on TV. Intelligent and self-efficient, yet their initial use was to pleasure men before attempting to murder them with that same seduction. Granted their attire and appeal are evident, but that’s also based upon the fact that they were “instructed” to wear clothing as such. All fembots wear the same dresses or bralettes, which boils down to their freedom as a whole (especially considering they’re in the form of women…).

Women’s sexuality was heavily repressed during the 1930s-1940s, more specifically during WWII, a time when women had little to no liberation over their day to day lives and choices. Pinup became popularized at this era because wives were depicted on posters in their home fashion: aprons, high heels, stockings, and red lipstick. Typically, they’re waiting on their husbands to return home from war and still needing to tend to their “duties”—independence was limited [and not a turn on] because women were known to be doting on their husbands satisfaction, essentially wearing what he wanted to see. Fulfilling a man’s needs was met before any other, which [and I quote] was, “an all American fantasy,” but with this aesthetic making a comeback in today’s society it’s an obvious recession indicator.

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ Now, there was an era of pinup where the taboo became socially acceptable or ‘out there’, hence the influence of Bettie Page, but even when out the norm (i.e. unconventional) it was a difference meant to feed men’s darker desires. I’ll even throw in the fact that Bettie retired and converted to Christianity, to which she believed that the Lord disapproved of the time she spent modeling.
