Aslia hasn't gotten much sleep. When she finally gets to sleep, it's nearly two in the morning. And of course, she wakes up at six-thirty am. Lynette's still cuddled against rose, her arms wrapped snugly around Aslia's torso. Aslia just laughs softly trying to let roseself relax. It's hard, though, considering the date. August 17th. Her and Lynette's first anniversary, and also their wedding date.
âMmm⊠already awake, firefly?â
The sound of Lynette's voice, admittedly, makes Aslia jump. She replies with a laugh and a warm, âHow am I supposed to sleep, knowing today's the day we finally get married?â
Lynette just laughs, warm and affectionate. She says, âWell, the ceremonyâs not until three this afternoon. Let's try to get a little more sleep, hm?â
Aslia, unable to argue with this point, just nestled herself back into Lynette's embrace and tries to fall back asleep.Â
And it works. When she next wakes up, it's to Lynette climbing out of the bed at almost ten o'clock. âWhat's for breakfast, love?â ro asks as she climbs out of bed herself.
âKnowing my brother, he probably has made us a full breakfast spread just so we didn't have to do it ourselves on our wedding day,â Lynette replies casually. Aslia laughs, and shakes her head fondly. She replies, âYeah, sounds like something Lyney would do.â
When they leave the bedroom, hand in hand, they find that's exactly what had happened. Lyney is standing in the kitchen, surrounded by fresh pancakes, sausage, bacon, hash browns, and eggs. When he sees them he greets them with an excited, âAh, there are the lovebirds! Good morning, and perfect timing! I just finished making you guys breakfast!â
Aslia and Lynette sit down - Asliaâs plate loaded up and Lynetteâs plate with a smaller but still substantial amount of food. The two of them sit in the breakfast nook, cuddling up against each other. Lyney cleans up the kitchen then takes his leave, saying, âWell, Iâll see you at the wedding.â
After breakfast, itâs time for them to go. Aslia has to go meet up with Chiori, who had designed rose wedding dress and is in charge of rose makeup.
âAbout time you showed up, Aslia.â Chiori greets.
Aslia just smiles. Chiori just huffs affectionately, and tuts, âWell, letâs get you in your dress.â
The dress isnât anything too elaborate, fancy but not overly so. It still takes a few minutes to get into the dress, but itâs so worth it. Thatâs what Aslia thinks, at least. She thinks it looks beautiful. Chiori did a great job with the design, Lynette will love it, she thinks. Once Asliaâs in the dress Chiori pushes her gently into a chair, and starts or rose makeup. Itâs a known fact that Aslia isnât super fond of makeup, so Chiori keeps it light. A little bit of eye shadow to bring out the color in Asliaâs eyes, some lipstick to highlight her lips, and a little bit of blush to add some color to her cheeks.
âThere we go. Your mother should be here soon, to walk you down the aisle.â
Aslia nods, standing up. She gives Chiori a tight hug and says, âThank you, Chiori. I appreciate you putting in all this work for me.â
Chiori again just huffs affectionately, but hugs back.
Both too soon and not soon enough, itâs time to walk down the aisle.
A few minutes before, she meets up with her mother figure, Ningguang. Ningguang is wearing a nice dress, formal yet simple. Aslia gives her a tight hug, and lightheartedly says, âMama Beidouâs here, right? And let me guess, sheâs still grumbling about feeling old?â
Ningguang laughs. âRight you are, Aslia,â she says fondly, âBeidou is indeed lamenting how your wedding makes her feel old.â Aslia's laughing at that, a smile on her face, âI'm sure Kaz is sick of hearing about it.â
âIndeed. Now, your love and her âfatherâ have probably reached the altar, so let's be off.â
So Aslia, dressed in rose wedding attire, links her arm with Ningguang's. The music swells as Aslia walks through the crowd full of Aslia and Lynetteâs closest friends and family. Ro is to avoid scanning the crowd, looking forward instead. Lynette is standing next to her brother, dressed in a fancy suit. Aslia can feel her face getting red.
Because he's her best man, Bennett is also waiting there. When she and Ningguang get to the front, she drops Ningguangâs arm and takes her place at the altar.
The flower girls, Asliaâs adopted daughters, are standing at the front of the crowd in their matching dresses. Diona looks somewhat comfortable and relaxed for once, which makes Aslia smile. Sayu, meanwhile, appears to be falling asleep. Diona nudges her, causing the younger girl to startle awake.
After Aslia takes rose place, the ring bearer comes down the aisle. The ring is being carried by Asliaâs adopted son, Chouji. His suit matches Diona and Sayuâs dresses, and he mostly just looks happy to be included.
The ceremony passes quickly. The best part, in Asliaâs opinion, is when they finally share their first kiss as a married couple. Bennett and Lyney are cheering from their places next to the happy couple, and most of the audience cheers and claps.
Then, it's time for the reception. The catering comes from one of the finest kitchens in Fontaine. Dinner is a fairly simple affair, the guests chattering amongst themselves. Lynette and Aslia, meanwhile, sit at the head table and talk. Aslia takes Lynetteâs hand in rose own, holding it tightly.
Then the first dance.
The finest live band possible starts playing, and Aslia walks with Lynette to the dance floor. Neither of the two women are great at dancing, but neither of them mind. They're giggling as they dance, and Aslia feels her heart swell with love. This is her wife now. Her wife!
After the dance floor opens to all guests, the happy couple begin to mill about.
âSo, what's it like being married?â Aslia startles at the sound of her older brotherâs voice. But then she just casually smiles, saying, âFeels good, Kae. I did marry the love of my life, after all.â
Kaeya laughs fondly, picking Aslia up and spinning rose around. Diluc, Jean, and Barbara are all standing nearby, all smiling. Aslia hugs the other three as well, squeezing them tightly. Then she says to Jean, âHey, who's in charge of the Knights right now? Given that most of the authorities are here right now, I mean.â
Jean chuckles, and Kaeya outright snickers. âI have a couple of the more trustworthy knights in charge, I'm sure the Knights can survive for a few days without Kaeya, Lisa, Amber, Eula, Albedo, and I.â
âYeah, theyâll be fine,â Aslia laughs. Her attention is then drawn by the sound of wind. The wind races towards her, before Aslia finds herself with an armful of her youngest child. She holds Sayu tightly and fondly, spinning her daughter slightly. Diona and Chouji are close behind. She greets them, âHow are you doing, kids?â
âLynette had better treat you right, or sheâs gonna pay!â Diona proclaims, her hands on her hips as she huffs.
âI promise, Iâll make sure to treat your mother with the utmost care.â
Diona jumps when Lynette speaks, and Lynette chuckles fondly. Aslia shifts the way she holds Sayu in her arms, to kiss her wife on the lips.
They continue milling about, spending the evening and into the night talking to their loved ones and dancing and eating cake.
âI love you, Nettie.â
âI love you too, Little Light.â

ð§Rain: Probably either the Killing Desdemona scene or Cannibalism scene in The Horrific Comb or the goodbye scene in this one for a prompt , which is basically the fluffier future. I'm leaning towards it being in The Horrific Comb though.
âïž Snow: I don't really remember, many of my characters tend to be very emotional. Maybe Desdemona, but I think she's pretty expressive.

PAC: Messages From Your Spirit Guides ð¬ðšð
Sup y'all, I'm back for another reading on what your spirit guides have to say! We are approaching a powerful micromoon on Friday night into Saturday morning, and I hope these piles will help you with whatever you're manifesting or clearing out of your life.
Sidenote: I have been in the background trying to get my Paypal account working so I can have the chance to finally offer paid readings. I know some of you have been asking me about when I'll be doing private readings! Long story short, Paypal thought I was a bot and locked me out of my account. (They won't even tell you it's locked, it'll just act like your password isn't working, lol) After struggling for a while, I had to actually call for support. ð
It's all fixed (for) now! I'm now going over some ideas for what readings I will offer. They will likely be basic 1 and 3 card type spreads for starters. I'll fill you in when more details are hashed out. I'm still also planning another game in March, so stay tuned.
So let's dive into your readings! You can either pick your pile option through the palette cards or the corresponding pictures below for your quick message.

Lavender Sky, Sweetness, Lava; V Hierophant, Queen of Wands, 3 of Cups, 10 of Cups
Pile 1, the guide (or guides) contacting you is the type to play it by the book. They know how to fill your cup because they've gone through it too. This is likely a passed ancestor in your family, though it doesn't have to be. Just someone who's really gone through it thick and thin while living on Earth, experiencing the highs and lows of existence. They're guiding you because they've been in your shoes. Their message is simple. They want offer you a cup of cheer. Although that's traditionally a Christmas saying, I picture of cup of healing tonic being passed to you. It's rich and warm, like a cappuccino or spiced chai. They invite you to sit down and relax with a similar soothing beverage.
I heard lyrics from the Evanescence song "Imaginary" while pulling out the palette card. "In my field of paper flowers and candy clouds of lullaby, I lie inside myself for hours and watch my purple sky fly over me." I'm sensing some detachment. They say you've been spending a lot of time closed off into your own inner world and not communicating as much as you'd like to, but not out of loneliness. In fact, this time alone may have revitalized you, or you may consider it a comfort zone to be in. You could have been laying dormant, working on yourself, wondering when it's finally time to stretch.
But the Queen of Wands, as confident as she is (and you are), truly enjoys being around others. It's where her light shines. If she wants to perform, she wants to do it with a crowd. If she speaks, she wants it to be with another. She knows her light, but it's not enough; the light must expand outward and be shared. Imagine that, instead of shining only in your mind, your creative abilities and unique personality can stand out in the real world to be seen and heard. For your unique truth to be recognized and lauded.
Your guides would gently like you to get out of your head a little. You have a bright mind and a caring disposition. There is no reason to hold yourself back from healthy communities. Your affirmation card says, "My truth flows through me gracefully." Holding your emotions and true self back is useless, anyway. The lava will come spilling out one way or another. Use that strong confident energy you have when alone, and channel it to reach out and connect with other people. Things likely will turn out better than you could have imagined. This could be your year for forming great new friendships that may even stand the test of time, if you're up for it.
I'm getting a lot of people in this pile may identify as shy or socially awkward. Your guides see your struggle and know this isn't an overnight event, it can a long haul process to come out of one's shell. And if reaching out to people in real life is still too difficult, please know that your guides are with you. They are available to talk whenever you need them. I suggest working with candles (safely!) or water scrying as possible methods for communication.

Air Blue, Ghost, Bee; 0 Fool, 9 of Cups, 5 of Wands, 7 of Swords
You received two affirmation cards in this reading because the yellow rose fell out almost immediately: it says "I am at peace in my life. I am at peace in the world. I'm getting some strong anxiety with this pile. It feels like the anxiety experienced on a regular basis. It's a strong contrast to your guide's energy, which is carefree and lackadaisical. I hear they can be a bit of a prankster with you? I'm seeing someone getting frustrated with computer equipment or some other machinery like a cash register. Really riding on that Mercury retrograde energy when it's there, they're opportunists. This could be your guide's primary way of talking with you, by causing strange and chaotic things to happen that put a brief halt in your day-to-day life.
It may seem somewhat cruel that a guide would 'tease' like this, but they keep pointing at the yellow rose, which symbolizes friendship. They have reached out and offered support in the normal, usual ways, but there's a sense of denying and not returning in the interaction? Have you ever met them? If you want to connect with your guides, the first step is to acknowledge that they're there and that they're reaching out to you. They're there to help you break bad cycles of thought that aren't helping you. It's an odd way of doing it, but if you can reach out to them and learn from them, they won't always be like this. It's only because they want you to embrace life like every day is a new beginning. Allowing yourself to get worked up in fear sets up the day for exactly that. They see your capacity for joyful and successful working and living and want to bring that out in you.
You may have times where you have very high hopes for something to happen in your favor, only to burst into panic when one little thing falls out of place or goes wrong, even if it gets resolved. Your guides aren't trying to work you into a tizzy; they want to teach you how to handle the day's hiccups with more ease instead of relying on control all the time. They want you to speak positive affirmations to yourself on a regular basis with the idea that peace and ease are available to you. Your other card says, "I can speak powerfully with ease." Your words are strong, especially what you say to yourself in earnest. Speak your wishes out and your guide will listen. Bottle it up too much, and your guide will find a way to pour it out for you. Focus on the BEST outcomes!
And if your anxiety still feels like it's getting debilitating, your guide will support you in getting you any outside help that you need. Ultimately, they want to see you thrive, both inside and outside chaos, even if their methods are unconventional.
Pile 3
Falling Snow, Fear, Swan; 9 of Cups, 3 of Swords, Page of Coins, 5 of Wands, VII Chariot
Pile 3, your guide is a colorful and gentle being, I'm picturing someone childlike here with the Page of Coins. This guide flourishes in nature and the innocently playing with their creations. Perhaps you're an artist or someone devoted to a craft that brings out your inner child, your unique joy? This being wants to guide you in these endeavors. Your guide embodies a playful spirituality, far from religious status and regulations. They enjoy seeing ideas come to life.
It seems like you've been calling out for help in dealing with relationships in your life, or lack thereof. If it isn't to do with love or people, the Swan card could suggest a creative passion that you already have in mind. You see this person or passion as the "One" you've been praying for, the "One" to forever come or stay in your life. Your guide wants you to begin by seeing that you are the "One" you've been looking for. See that there are two swans in the card. One of them is you, seeking the kind of beauty that's already blossoming atop your head.
I'm drawn in by the purple flowers. If you work with chakras, your crown chakra is calling for your attention. Your affirmation card says, "I am connected to the wisdom of the universe." You may have recently been hurt from a relationship, or you've been worried that dating seems far away from you. The kind of school to help you hone your talent may feel at a distance. I'm getting 5 of pentacle vibes with the Falling Snow card, like the opportunity is "snowed in". But it's an illusion; you're moving faster and more suddenly through life than you may believe, though there are times when relationships don't work out, or we get turned down from an opportunity that looked to be beneficial to us.
It's okay to be honest about how sucky rejections feels. Your guide, as playful and rambunctious as they are, wants to hold your hand with a compassionate smile. They can see the flowers blooming beneath the snow, but understand that you have a right to process how you feel. Their main encouragement to you is to give yourself the time, just as spring has time to thaw from winter.
