Saw the AU ask game and thought I’d ask questions 2, 3, 4, and 5 about your Murder Drones AU.

2. Summarize this au in 5 sentences.

Thad and Lizzy are also unfortunate enough to have dormant Solver genes, and the Solver decides it might as well try its lot with all four available puppets at once. Unfortunately, none of these four children are willing to communicate their problems with each other, and they all genuinely believe they’re the only one. Meanwhile, J is traumatized, V is traumatized, and N is cheerfully repressing any and all Bad Things, while pointedly avoiding the gaps in his memory. J accidentally befriends Thad while trying to kill him, and Lizzy decides to avoid the problems posed by her best friend gaining a murderous streak by adopting a new murderous friend. And Uzi and N are off doing canon-typical shenanigans and murder, they’re fine don’t worry about it.

3. Did anything inspire this au?

This AU comes from three main sources: the theory (held mostly by me, and only me) that Thad and Lizzy both have dormant Solver genes, the way Uzi did before the end of the pilot, my canon-divergent Jhad fic where Thad tries to lead J away from Lizzy and Doll during the Pilot and they both end up trapped outside by the sun and the scary murder lady, respectively, and me realizing that I do not have the mental capacity or motivation for two MD longfics, but I also want both of these ideas to exist, so why not just combine them? It also works better, because then everyone has an outlet to exploring the mystery symbol that haunts their dreams! Uzi has adventures with N and her mom’s spooky closet, Lizzy has Doll and then V, Thad can have J, and Doll…well, Doll can do whatever she was doing in canon. So, murder I guess.

But yeah, this is just my self-indulgent “what if everything I like” AU

4. What is a major change you made?

Well, Lizzy and Thad having functioning Solvers is kind of a big change. And then that spirals out into more changes, like Thad and J having their fun little stalemate, and J therefore not dying in the first fricking episode, and Lizzy following Doll around to get answers on her own problems (which? By the way? Why was she even helping Doll with murder in canon to begin with? Like, your friend is murdering people, Lizzy, what the fuck why are you helping).

5. What is something you kept the same?

If I huff enough copium, I can say that Thad and Lizzy having Solver at all is the same (no, it’s not, I am fully aware that theory is grasping at straws a little bit, but SHHHHH). Plus, until late in the AU (probably between episodes 4 and 5/6? I think?) when everyone finally communicates, N and Uzi are having the same adventures and trauma they usually have.

Hehehe thank you for giving me free rein :D I'm gonna pick a few prompts that originally caught my eye for Jeremiah, my 1930s vigilante.

🖊️ BALLPOINT PEN — does your oc have any tattoos? do they want any (more) tattoos?

He does not, and I don't think he would consider it. Tattoos still aren't super mainstream in his time period. Plus it would make him too easy to identify >:)

💛 YELLOW HEART — how many languages does your oc speak? what language(s) are they learning, if any?

Just English fluently. I like to think if he ever gets to interact with someone from another country on a regular basis he would learn a few phrases in their language out of a library book to pull out unexpectedly. He probably understands some scraps of Italian as well. He would love to learn Irish Gaelic but he knows that's very unlikely.

😖 CONFOUNDED FACE — is your oc an introvert, an extrovert, or an ambivert? do they let people in easily, or are they more reserved?

Despite all the interacting with people he does, he's actually an introvert, just very good at masking. He's an incredible actor and good at focusing on a task, and generally his tasks involve people.

remebering who i was when i first started kh is wild. wdym i wasnt obssesed with the seasalts???? wdym i didnt care abt kairi???WDYM I DIDNT EVEN THINK TWICE ABT VANITAS AND THE WAYFINDERS??? HUH????

i reckon most people first getting into kh are mostly drawn to like sora and riku etc so like perfectly understandable LOL. they are the main ones after all. and when you first get into something it takes a while to work out a coherent literary analysis aka your opinions will be bad or incomplete at first and you won’t appreciate everything else in full. but the good fans are the ones who stay a while and really marinate in it until suddenly a year or so later their brains have been microwaved by some poor shmuck with two seconds of screentime. hashtag i’m obsessed with almost every kh character/character group from the main beloved ones to the one off chibis!!!

It lived in my head on a constant loop from the moment I saw Endgame, so having a reason to finally write it and get it out of my system was awesome

Consequences Be Damned - Angie Martinelli x Reader I love Angie so much, and Jack is one of my favorite characters to write for (surprise surprise), so getting to bring them together in a fluffy and chaotic fic was so much fun for me

Hypocrite - Bucky Barnes x Reader Somehow I passed like 10 years in the MCU fandom without ever writing for Bucky lmao, but this idea hit me in the head after a request from @flowers-and-fichte and I was like... omg I *have* to write this. It was fun, and I'm really happy with how it came out!

Also, honorable mention for Subtext, which is Enzo St. John x Reader! I love Enzo, and this was another fic that was just super fun for me to write and is still fun for me to reread 😄

there are many but thinking on enstars and a somewhat popular ship i think id say leokasa. i do love their relationship sm but i cant see anything romantic at all going on between them

I: has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

ughhh tricky question. id say kinda yes? with enstars and the whole akatsuki thing from the beginning of the year. im not gonna extend myself here bc we all know what happened but. idk i just think one thing is acknowledging the facts and being critical abt them and another is people trying to convince everyone to stop playing and liking the game and if you dont then they claim you are an awful person. like no thats absolutely not the case. i can perfectly keep playing, i have a critical mind to know what things are good and which are bad and ofc enstars is not perfect and has had quite some issues but if you start looking at things like that you can find problematic things in so many media and liking that media doesnt mean you support that. this isnt like the whole j.kr thing where shes actively founding harmful organizations with the money she gains from her fans. enstars has been my special interest for years, it is very important to me, and that period where people was just so extremely negative abt the game (as i said, some things were reasonable, heck i complained abt it too, and ofc anyone is free to act as they want but i think people crossed the line when insisting everyone should stop playing and guilt tripping anyone who didnt) just made me feel bad and honestly sad. so to answer the actual question is not that it made me stop liking enstars but kinda made me stop liking people in the fandom for a while. im glad things seem to have calmed down and although the enstars content on my dash has been quite reduced at least im comfortable again talking abt it here
