i've been studying this whole year for an exam (it's kinda very important in my country) and it's very close by. this whole year has been very stressful and i've been doing kinda shit mentally. it just feels like life isn't really worth living. what i wanted to ask is if you have any anecdotes of times in your life you felt happy or hopeful or things like that. if it's too personal you don't have to answer ofc.

i also kinda struggle with making friends and things like that. i have a very close friend, but i get a bit jealous of her when she talks about her other friends, parties she went to and things like that. i'm not sure why, but i'm a bit possessive. not in the way that i tell her anything, i guess i would just like to feel that too

I'm not sure if this is helpful or not but talking to kids always makes me feel really hopeful. Like especially when I come out to them and they're just like "okay cool" and move on. Kids are such a good indication that the future is bright, you know? And I've met some amazing, kind, caring, empathetic kids. Life seems a lot more worth living when you see it through the eyes of kids.

With your friend...I mean could it be that you're worried she'll prioritize those things over you? It could be that asking for reassurance might help. I mean, don't be like "you like me best, right?" but you can say something like, "hey, can I have some reassurance that our friendship is important?" I don't think there's anything wrong with asking for that.

Cas!!! Rainbow hearts anon here with a small update. My appointment for my hair dying is in two days so I am super excited also I have so many pool trips planned so that seems like it'll be fun. Trump bombed Iran. Hahaha this is just so funny. I mean he couldn't stop at just ruining our lives he wants to go international with his cruelty. My parents are stressed about this and so am I and so are my friends so at least we get some bonding from this (trying to stay positive). My birthday was today and I had lots of fun. We didn't really do anything because all I wanted was to dye my hair but my brother woke me up at 12 to give me my present which is the newest Kathleen Glasgow book that I've been talking nonstop about so yippee. We were going to go out to eat but my dad said his arm was hurting so we ordered and all enjoyed. Overall pretty chill day other than the fact that the possibility of usa entering a war just went up like a lot. Tumblr has been such a good escape and your blog and presence on here is so welcoming. I genuinely do not think you get as much appreciation as you deserve because you are sooooo awesome.🩷❤️💛💚🩶🧡🩵🤍💙💜🤎🖤

okay so i was with my mom we were waching a show and sh ewas all like "so have you got anything to tell me??" and i said no but she inssted she even went thrw my phone amd found tumblr and asked what that was i panicked she saw a wolftar fanart and looked at me and said "whats thatt??" and ididnt know how to respond after some time she asked if i was intrested in "homosexual" stuff and i oomg i started crying it was so bad and in the end i told her that ye i do ljke girls so she started crhing so we were both crying and i felt really bad and still do but she kept saying"ill love ypu no matter what" and stuff like that

then i desided to tell my dad so i said "dad i dont like guys i just like girls" and he sat in silence for 2minutes and then said "how do you know have ypu tried being witha girl?" and i was ljke noo but and tried to explain but after some time he said " youre too young to know and to be thinking about that stuff so just go to bed now pray and go to sleep" and i said okay but before i went to my room he kissed me on the forehead and said goodnight

so yeah that was yesterday night and now i still feel so so bad

I have a friend who wants to borrow something that I have for Halloween (I know it’s not for a while but my friends like to plan early) and I honestly don’t want him to. It means a lot to me and it’s irreplaceable (Well it’s official HP merchandise I bought before JKR told the world she was an asshole so i’m NOT going to give her more money) but it seems rude to not. It would make perfect sense for his costume and I don’t want to seem uptight or like I think he’d break it- I’m just very much and over thinker and if it got lost I would be really upset. If I say no I don’t think he’ll be mad, just kind of upset and irritated, but I know it would still bother me

Well I don't think there's anything wrong with saying no. It's YOUR thing, not theirs, and you have a right to set boundaries. I'd maybe try a "no, but." Like "I don't like letting anyone borrow this, but I can help you by....(making one, finding a cheap version, finding someone else with one, etc)." That way it doesn't feel as much like a rejection.

If it's a wand, I also know how to make them, if that helps! Lmk if you want me to explain!
