So I normally don't, but I came across this little Steve/Brock exchange that I plodded out for Chasing the Sun-- Ended up making it a little less hard ahaha - it was supposed to be some kind of amalgimation of a flashback but

A darkened room. The scent of sweat and blood thick in the air. That voice, a rasp at his ear, rough and low. “Seemed pretty helpless, didn’t you?” A hand gripping his jaw. Bruising. Forcing him to look, to see- “Nice an’ easy, Rogers.” Something breaking—Someone breaking—He wasn’t sure who--But then— Warm breath against his skin. A touch, not bruising but lingering. A quiet moment between the violence, between the chaos. Fingers tracing over his skin like it meant something. “You don’t have to be strong all the time, y’know.” Steve had laughed, though it was bitter. “That so?” There was rare softness in his tone. “Yeah. Not with me.” Blood slick on his knuckles—A hand around his wrist and-- “I’ve been waiting for this.”

28. your least favorite part of the writing process

Drafting phase- the ‘before putting words to paper’ part- I am not an organized person, so all that can be really draining 😅
