This blog has seriously helped me heal. I’m not all the way there [of course] but it feels so refreshing to see a blog that uplifts Black people on this usually very white site. Thank you for all that you’ve done.

🥹 oh wow. You're very welcome 🙏🏾 What helped me start healing really was surrounding myself with other Black bloggers, and bloggers (usually of color) who ACTUALLY showed through their voices and actions that they care about Black people. When you find your community on here, it helps to buffer from all the hatred and nonsense that the rest of the site will put you through, to an extent. It's like a place of respite, where if nothing else you know that other people hear how you feel and see what you see, and you're not alone in the fight.

Unfortunately I had to give up all my fandom participation dreams for that 😅 but... Tbh the peace of mind was worth it, for me. I hope you continue to find that peace and space 🙏🏾
