i think it's very funny to imagine domestic situations for ships like these. the divorce is going to be great

ignoring the shipping, in-ho preventing gi-hun’s suicide is so incredibly interesting because it shows how selfish he is as a character. he believed he’s owed gi-hun’s life. he believes deserves to see gi-hun grow old. he wants to hold gi-hun’s life and death in his hands.

that scene of them talking should’ve showed in-ho’s desperation. let him break a bit. whether it’s because he sees gi-hun in himself, gi-hun in his wife, or he’s just grown to care about him, or all three. it doesn’t matter. let this man truly break for a moment and show the audience his reasoning behind preventing gi-hun’s suicide. and then, at gi-hun death, show him break again.

in-ho lost. he failed in keeping gi-hun alive. gi-hun took his death into his own hands and that’s exactly what in-ho didn’t want.
