Her heart was pounding against her chest, hands gripping the steering wheel as she drove down the road she thought she had memorised. His brother had told her where he was, reminding her of the address and after having hit a dead end street twice she decided to put on her navigation. She'd been so happy the last time she was there, a promise of a future. She looked at the house between moving windshield wipers. A dim light in the house as rain fell on the outside drew her attention. She took a breath to steady herself, getting out of the vehicle that hadn't abandoned her on this journey as she made her way into the house. It was easy to find him. Finding the only room that had a light so he could work. She glanced around the place, flutters in her stomach until she reminded herself not to get ahead of things. Who knew how this would turn out. "Hard at work, I see." She spoke as she watched him from behind. God how she had missed that sight. @travisjackson

After the sound of shattering glass and his hurried footsteps out of the bedroom, Andrew looked up to find his brother standing in the hallway, his eyes shifting down to the baby he was cradling, back up to his face again. "Yeah... I wouldn't go in there if I were you." Andrew warned his brother, looking over his shoulder where he had just left his sister-in-law behind, brushing off his sweater as if the glass had gotten on him too. "It's safe to say her left side and aim are still good." It wasn't that strange to find that Liliana got frustrated with the physical training, but he'd barely got started until she'd lost her temper on him. Maybe Travis had more luck.. Later, though. "Feel like taking a walk with Bella or something?" @travisjackson

The absence of her daughter's warmth against her chest was easily noticed, and Liliana felt a short wave of relief, knowing that whatever this was her daughter was safe. Tears poured down her face, her head splitting. She responded to his words, but at this moment the words were incoherent, noticed by the nurse that had walked in at that moment. It had been enough to call for help while she flattened the bed. Liliana barely registered what was going on, not her daughter's cries, or her husband's distress, or the colour fading from the doctor's face when he looked at the urine bag, then the monitors, then her. To Liliana it hardly mattered, as her eyes rolled back and her body began to seize. @travisjackson
Seeing her, his face fell and he started to panic. "Lils?" He said and touched her cheek as she slurred out her words. He quickly took Bella May and placed her in the hospital bassinet before pressing the emergency button on the wall. "Lili, they're on the way, okay?" He said and tried to meet her eyes. "Just focus on me, okay? Can you do that?" He asked her; his heart thumping loud against his chest. "They're on the way." He repeated again while holding her cheek and pressed a kiss to her head. @lilianaxjackson

Liliana didn't know how much time had passed, but when she opened her eyes and was met with the overhead light from the livingroom, she quickly realised she was no longer at the front door but instead on the couch. She remembered everything so vividly, the dinner, the engagement, the house and Anthony. She never had a dream that intense and it rattled her to the core. She let out a groan as she sat up, picking up the wet cloth that had stained the fabric of her robe on her shoulder as it had slid off at some point, wondering why she even had it on her person in the first place. It was at that moment that she saw it; the ring. There was an intense feeling of panic, a white hot flash spreading from her chest to her limbs, making them tingle and feel heavier. Then she noticed Travis from the corner of her eye, either just walking into sight or perhaps he'd been there already for sometime. She didn't know. She looked at him, pleadingly, almost as if she was begging him to tell her it was all just a dream. That she hadn't lived her life while her husband had been out there on his own. But the paleness of his skin told her otherwise. "Where is he?" @travisjackson
The suggestion had led to him having to get it. Tony side stepped past the man and his passed out wife, careful not to knock into either of them as he did so. The kitchen. By the sink. Drawer. The instructions repeated in broken up phases as he moved through the strange house. He didn't recognize anything, fumbling his way with shaking hands as he made it into the kitchen. He found the sink, found the drawer before opening it up. Once the rag was in his hand, he dampened it, wringing out the water so not to drip it all over the floors as he returned. Anthony knelt down by the woman and the man she was with before gently placing it on her forehead, "Here," he offered, removing his hand after a moment and standing back up. "I'm sorry, uh, I'm staying at the hotel downtown if she wants to talk." Anthony said as he moved back around the other man and headed back down the driveway to where his vehicle was parked in the street. @travisjackson @lilianaxsantos

Liliana had woken up in a daze. Confused and terrified. To make it worse, the hospital had told her husband to hold off visiting her as they did their tests and find out her current condition. She was unaware of the fact the hospital hadn't apologised for their part in how it had all gone down. It was a thought that plagued her when her current condition became more clear to her. She felt incredibly weak, unable to move her left side aside from a few fingers. What if they had taken her headache complaints more seriously? Why wasn't she able to see her husband, her daughter? At least they'd comforted her with the fact that her daughter was healthy and at home. It was less heartbreak at least and, as Liliana caught herself thinking, something for Travis to stay occupied with. Staring out of the hospital window, there wasn't much for her to do but to wait. Wait until she could finally see her husband and daughter again while she lay in her bed, her right hand clutching against the robes she'd been wearing, lifting it to her chin as if to hide the scar that covered her throat. @travisjackson

She wasn't sure if this was just a bout of bad luck, or if the universe was out to get her. Her head felt crowded, she felt like she suffered a great loss as well as gained everything and yet she felt hollow. She was already running late for work when her car had decided not to start. This had caused it to be necessary for Liliana to have to run to the bus station. She was out of breath when she ended up at the stall, watching the bus driving away, having just missed it by a few seconds. And just to mess with the last bit of sanity she had left, the strap of her bag snapped, her bag falling to pavement. At this point she didn't even have the energy to scream or cry, just holding her hands against her face, taking the time to calm down, let it all wash over her. Certainly it couldn't get worse. She lowered her hands, willing herself to pick up her bag yet when she opened her eyes she found herself looking up at Travis, a startled sound escaping her before it morphed into a hushed laugh. "Travis.. You scared me." @travisjackson

Liliana had been looking forwards to their dinner for a very long time, and the fact she had been feeling unwell all afternoon wasn't going to have her stop her from getting there, eat that Salmon with Travis and get to enjoy his gorgeous face. She put on her best red dress, curled her hair, put on some gloss so that when Travis would see her he would be the one considering staying home rather than going out. Arriving at the restaurant, a slight shade paler as the car ride hadn't been that encouraging for her body to get a grip, she sat down at their reserved table, smoothing out her dress as she looked up at him. "I love the Delyle. I've been looking forwards to it all week." @travisjackson

"Please, you're Travis' brother. I don't see how you could overstep." As an only child, she's never had this before. The visits, the gifts. Julieta was the closest thing she had to a sister. A ride or die. She smiled at Benjamin, waving him in further. Sure it was still three more months before their due date and she was secretly hoping for a halloween baby, but she wouldn't tempt fate. "Can I get you something to drink, Benjamin?" @benjaminxjackson
starter for @lilianaxsantos
Ben was excited to be an uncle again, he was the type to go all out and spoil his niece and nephew. Ben wanted to help both Travis and Liliana anyway he can. He had been window shopping when he came across some baby stuff and the chef could not help himself. So he had gotten a few things for the baby. There was a massive smile on his face as he carried the bag of baby toys, clothes and other stuff. "I really hope it is okay but, I got the baby tons of stuff," he spoke his voice light and filled with joy. "I don't want to overstep or anything."

The closer they got to their appointment, the more Liliana began to unravel. She was perfectly aware that she was well into her pregnancy, given the last time her and Travis had slept together before their whole lives had turned upside down. She'd been drinking to soothe her heartache, been rock climbing, lifting heavy things. It would have been a cruel joke that now that she was finally carrying a child to this length, she was ruining it with her own stupidity. Yet she tried to keep it to herself as she and Travis sat in the hospital, deciding to wait at a nearby restaurant as their appointment got postponed -- an emergency. She understood, but it was doing little for her nerves. They were already close to an hour over time and at this point Liliana was toying with Travis' hand. "Is it bad I've already been thinking names?" She asked him, looking up at him. "I don't want to jinx things.. I just got excited." @travisjackson

Liliana didn't know what came first, the blinding lights before her eyes or the fact her ears were ringing from the loud explosions around her. She'd been enjoying the fireworks one moment, waiting for her companion to come back with their drinks to being shoved against a metal framework the next. Everything sounded like it came from so far away, muted by the ringing in her ears. fragments of God only knew lodged itself in her hair and fracturing small bits of skin of her cheekbone and then her hands, shielding herself, eyes closing and merely praying for it to be over soon @travisjackson.

Drew had barely rested on the plane rides home. The longer it took for him to come home, the more time his twin brother was in agony with the situation he was in. How stupid he was to be in Nepal for longer than they knew Travis and Liliana's end date was. They'd talked about it, he knew that it had been an okay decision -- anything to work on himself and find his inner peace. Neither had known this would happen after all. He had no suitcase, just a large duffel bag for he knew that once he'd be there, he would only need clothes to hike in. Other than that, he'd be supplied with a simple linen pyjama to wear in the temple and in the place he had called home for the last few months.
So with the duffel bag thrown over his shoulder, he had made his way through the crowded hospital. He'd been an idiot in not having charged his phone on the plane, so he had gone directly towards the maternity ward only to be told his sister in law had been transferred to a different ward. More minutes wasted as he stormed through the hospital halls until he arrived where he needed to be, letting out a deep defeated breath as his eyes landed on his sister in law, seemingly asleep had it not been for the tubes and wires, to the small baby asleep in the hospital crib next to her, to his brother, who sat and looked as if he had the whole weight of the world on his shoulders. "Hey, little brother." He breathed, dropping the bag on the floor next to the door and walked towards his brother so he could pull him into a hug. @travisjackson

It had been a while since she had properly spent time with Travis, and the last time had been on her mind constantly. Since the carnival, she had helped out at the farm, but they didn't really get to talk with people around. And then it had been time for her to leave to England for a concert she played in, leaving Max in his care. She'd eagerly been texting and calling him, which didn't stop on her flight back, literally counting down the hours. She hardly noticed the jetlag as she sat in the back of the cab, watching her last message remain unanswered that she was on the high way and almost in East Haven. She decided to keep her phone in her purse for the last remainder of the ride, flutters in her stomach when she neared his house. "Thank you. Keep the change. Have fun tonight, Sir." She told the driver who had been chatting about his family the entire ride there, eagerly receiving her bags from the trunk before she turned around towards the house, making her way towards his front door. @travisjackson

Andrew had a sense of dejavu. Not that he was going to mention any such thing, for he was long glad his brother was happy again. So if he was already at the point of proposing to the girl he officially started dating not even half a year ago, who was he to judge? In fact, it was giving him small and truthfully, terrifying thoughts as to whether the larger rings on his right was something he should be looking at. There was a time and place for everything however. "Any one of them taken your fancy yet, little brother?" He asked, looking over to where Travis was. @travisjackson

"Oh my God, that feels so good." Liliana moaned the second they stepped inside of the cabin they had rented out, welcoming the warmth against her front. A quick restock of supplies had them trudging through the cold winter air. She shook her head, causing the snow that had stuck to her beanie to float to the ground before she turned around to face him with a smile, completed with rosy cheeks. She loved winter, she loved the snow. They couldn't have picked a better weekend to go. She put the grocery bags onto the table, removing her gloves and beanie next. "Put away the groceries and settle for a drink, loverboy?" @travisjackson

It was no secret that cold weather was Liliana's favourite. She got to bundle herself up in scarfs and beanies again, enjoy the prickling cold against her cheeks. It wasn't at that stage quite yet, but she at least took the liberty of taking the thinnest wintercoat from her attic and don a scarf around her neck for their walk. Max was patiently walking by her side, as he always did. Her other hand linked with that of Travis as they were headed towards the dog park so the dogs could run free. "Is it too early to talk Christmas plans?" She asked after a momentary moment of silence, looking up at him. "Daddy said he would try to come and visit, but it all depends on how the dig is going." She had gotten used to it, having spent plenty of Christmases without the company of her father. Yet they always talked over the phone, he always sent a little trinket. "I'm sure your mother likes the idea of all of you together." She was aware of how the family situation had been, or rather how his father had been the difficult party. "How is she, actually?" @travisjackson
