Closed starter for @aftermiiidniiight / Muse: Aaron Leto
Aaron wasn't usually the type to go to a strip club of all places. He very much preferred his women within reach, touchable, and most importantly his. This whole business with looking at naked women you had no connection to did nothing for him, just as he'd never had any interest in porn. And yet, he could play along with the best of them. So he'd joined the small group of partners and senior associates from the firm when the idea came up. The group was loud for the most part as they came inside, many of them already a little (or a lot) drunk from the bottles of wine and champagne served at the celebratory dinner earlier.
Aaron for his part, kept a level head, though smiling and joking around with the others as they found different spots around the strip club to settle down in. He joined a smaller group of four at a booth, and soon the party continued, bottles on the tables, half naked girls scattered across many a lap, some grinding happily away to the music and the bills tucked into their thongs. Aaron was like a shadow; part of it all and yet not at all, happy to be situated perfectly to watch the whole ordeal without actually partaking.
And then his eyes spotted her, scantily clad as she made her way onto the stage and began moving to the music. Several of his colleagues caught sight of the newest dancer on stage too, he noticed, nudging each other and grinning as they discussed. He couldn't hear what was being said, but he could easily imagine.
Unwilling to make a fool of himself in front of the firm, he sat quietly, sipping his whiskey while watching her, eyes slightly narrowed and so intensely focused, it was a wonder they didn't burn a hole through her. He wondered, briefly, if she'd be able to spot him in the dimmed lights of the club, one among many suit-clad patrons this evening.

above them, the moon hangs in a waning crescent, a sliver of a cocked smile with a backdrop of twinkling stars. the island itself looks like a cluster of them, golden lights shining toward the heavens. casimiro doesn't necessarily feel like.a star, more like the void within all things. from head to toe he's dressed in black, simple and understated. this is a party, yes, and he is dressed for the occasion, but he's not over doing it. not unless he's called to be chosen, not unless things change.
there's a performance going on, some of the sons of apollo and dionysus acting out scenes from choosing ceremonies past—the shoclk and awe of it all, the discovery of one's greatness. he turns to the person standing beside him, bringing a drink to his lips. "are you hoping that'll be you?" casimiro asks, hazel eyes glinting in the golden light. "a chosen demigod."

availability / @jacklynchh location / the pour house timeline / saturday, september 14th, 2024 at 10:41 pm.
so this was what it was like to be public enemy number one! persona non grata! tefi, deluded as some people claimed she was, didn’t think she’d come out of this foster-and-phoebe situation unscathed. she was on borrowed time, living on phoebe’s best friend’s couch. this was their hometown, not hers (thank god), so it made sense that people in the know wouldn’t like her. if they even had in the first place. she knew going into her revenge scheme that she wouldn’t be innocent, and no one was going to have sympathy for the homewrecking bitch. though, technically, wouldn’t phoebe be the homewrecker, even if tefi and foster didn’t love each other anymore? whatever, no one was going to see that way, and she’d just look like an even bigger bitch if she tried to claim otherwise.
not everyone hated her, though. or, not everyone hated her because of what happened at the waterway diner last week. she had made enemies in blue harbor just by being herself, and there was one such enemy at the pour house that night. tefi enjoyed bothering jack lynch ever since they shared an ill-fated one night stand months ago. his negative reactions to her were hilarious, in her opinion, and any reaction was better than no reaction, she had learned at a young age. that was all she got from her parents since she turned twelve: blank faces and irritated sighs. as long as jack was telling her to fuck off, that meant he was talking to her. sidling up to jack at the bar, tefi flashed a bright, provoking smile. “heeeeey, bestie! what're you drinking tonight? got room for one more?”

flashback.

“Come on little guy, I won’t hurt you”
In retrospect, the situation Geena currently found herself in -- half way up a tree and straddling the trembling branch with all her might -- wasn’t the most picturesques visual to those passing by. She hadn’t intended to conclude her afternoon stroll with acrobatics but when she heard the soft mewl waft through the breeze and the small tuff of orange clinging in terror nothing else mattered. It wasn’t the first time she’d risked her own well being for an animal in need, it was her job after all. Though the tiny tabby hardly compared to the big game she was accustomed it was her duty to aide creatures incapable of taking care of themselves. An oath she took serious. Which was why she didn’t hesitate to hike up her floral patterned dress and shimmy up the sapling. Things seemed to be going swimmingly until she rested weight onto the highest perch, hand outstretched to scoop the feline. For a brief moment she assumed the position of an elegant dancer, raising onto her toes. Until the branch began to buckle and she was suddenly just as helpless as the cat she was rescuing. Oh boy.
Over the years she’d been faulted for her selfless behavior and she wasn’t too proud to admit it didn’t always work out in her favor. But that was the plight of the kind-hearted and a weight she gladly shouldered. Her mother always said kindness is a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see and it was a philosophy she lived by. There were few who weren’t offered a proverbial slice of her benevolence but since she’d returned from Africa there was one particular person receiving the brunt. She only knew his name because of some misplaced mail and their paths hardly crossed except for brief glances in the foyer or when they’d happen to be doing laundry at the same time. Aaron Fletcher. Geena’s cheerful greetings were usually met with scoffs but it barely penetrated her resolve. There was just something about him. His eyes spoke of a beautiful soul and his movements told of a need for nurture, it was hard to ignore. How telling it was, she thought, that so many have the appearance of the animal that has known intense suffering, in need of reprieve from cruel indifference.
It started with brownies.
Her famous brownies of course. Made without any animal products yet still resembling the chocolatey goodness one craved. She was so certain that’d be the key to facilitate an association but that was met with broody retaliation. Unfortunately for Aaron, Geena was effortlessly determined. Every time she happened to be occupying the same area she invited him for dinner, to accompany her on a stroll, anything that meant spending some time with the closed off male. Thus far all her attempted were thwarted with a pointed look and blatant refusal, but it made no difference. She just had to try harder.
Naturally it was Aaron she happened to spot from her compromising location, fingers inches away from securing the cat. Seeming to entirely dismiss her crisis she beamed at the male through the leaves. “Afternoon!” she called, nearly losing her footing to wave a greeting. “I don’t suppose you have a few minutes to assist me. I’m pretty sure I can get him out but I don’t have a plan for getting down” she admitted, lips pursed. By all accounts it appeared she hadn’t considered he might not want to help, merely skimming over his consent and titling him sidekick in her impulsive endeavor. “Maybe if I hand him to you? He’s just a small thing, I don’t want him to get hurt. What do you think?”

( @pctrchvr ) closed para : parker & june
headphones in, shades hiding his sleep deprived eyes, and messy bed head from the night before was the current and most often appearance of the male. skating and interweaving masterfully between people on the busy campus. blending in and not engaging with most of his peers was pretty normal for the boy, in fact he only had a few core people in his life. one of them just happened to be in his eye line. sitting underneath a tree was tiny petite brunette female, who was one of parker’s few friends. she didn’t need parker to say much, which he rarely did, he could constantly make her mix tapes of songs he found and she never called him out for his obscure taste. in fact, a lot of their hangouts consisted of the two sitting side by side sharing earbuds while parker sat sketching. stopping the skateboard her did a forward somersault roll landing a little on his friend and mostly under the tree. “tada.” he said pushing his hair out of his face. “you gotta listen to this song.” he said handing her an earbud. grabbing his bag he opened to a blank page and looked up at the girl flashing her a small smile as he watched her listen to the song.

Morning coffee and a journal full of possible displays ideas for the season is how Belly decided to start her morning. Her shift wasn't until later and being the early bird she was, didn't know how else to kill her time — hardly knowing anywhere around this town yet without a map app open.
Dark eyes are focused on the open page in front of her, pen gliding across the paper as she writes the names of flowers to suggest to the others when he speaks: instantly pulling her attention away.
"As a pumpkin hater, I think I'm gonna have to agree with you," nose turning up at orange tinted bread within his grasp. "I hate the taste. Pumpkin flavored anythin' is a crime against all food and drinks." Sorry to the pumpkin spice lovers.
@aaronjamesbaker
Starter: Open, assume connections if needed ( @aurorabaystarter ) Where: Driftwood Coffee
Aaron felt pathetic. He had been in town for close to two months now, and he knew that wasn't a long time, but it was as though he forgot how to be a person, and closed himself off. He wasn't like this, wasn't someone who enjoyed being on his own. He had always thrived in community, and he was finding it hard to wrestle with his past, with his choices. He needed to get out more. Needed to push himself into the unknown.
Which is how he found himself at Driftwood Coffee, papers to grade in his tote bag. He ordered a black coffee and a pumpkin bagel, an attempt to get into the season. He sat down at a table, his long legs awkwardly crammed and folded under his seat. He didn't even realize he was speaking until the words left his mouth. "I'm sorry... fall is great and all, but this isn't a bagel. This goes against the very nature of what a bagel is supposed to be!" You could take the boy out of New York, but you couldn't take New York out of the boy.

Closed starter for @mossofteeth / Aaron & Genevieve
It had been a busy week, and a successful one at that. Not a lot of people would celebrate getting a murdering slumlord off scot-free, but Aaron was one of them. The whole firm was, really. The guy had put them on a pretty hefty retainer after his success, and Aaron had used that to cement his standing in the firm. That partner offer was right around the corner; he could feel it.
So they'd gone out to celebrate at the first ridiculously expensive restaurant they could find. Some of the others had invited wives and girlfriends along, and the evening had taken on a life of its own. All the while, Aaron personally preferred to blend in seamlessly, more or less quietly watching the evening unfurl. He was engaged loosely in conversation with a few of the other senior associates and their wives when something unexpected drew his attention. It was an instinct more so than anything he actually saw at first, but it pulled him from the conversation and made him look around.
The glass of red wine he'd been nursing still in his hand paused on the way to his lips when his eyes finally found what they'd unknowingly been searching for. They widened a fraction - and then narrowed. She'd just walked in - on the arm of one of the juniors who'd been invited to join the celebrations after dinner, and Aaron's mind stretched like a rubber band before snapping, focused on one overwhelmingly simple word: mine.
It took him all of one second to put his pleasant mask back in place, and he lifted a hand slightly to invite Gen and her date over, a casual smile on his face, attention focused on the male at her side as though she was any other two-bit girlfriend on the arm of a random colleague.

Discord Thread 001: Aaron & Delilah
FT. @kingsborodelilah, @aaronhart93, with mentions of @romanbeckett
LOCATION: Club Throuple
DATE: 7/31/2020
SUMMARY: Aaron and Delilah one into one another for the first time since their breakup. They have some small talk and Aaron buys her a drink.
Triggers? None.
Aaron was having the time of his fucking like at his boyfriend’s birthday party. He loved that they finally could be comfortable enough with their relationship to show some PDA. Aaron did love PDA, but when he was a little drunk he didn’t mind it at all. Besides, his boyfriend was hot as fuck and he couldn’t really keep his hands off of him anyway. He was having a blast, taking tequila shots with his friends and forgetting all about the drama with Alison until — Delilah Thatcher. A literal ghost from his very public past. His first love. His mouth practically gaped open when he saw her for the first time in years. “D-Delilah...shit. Uh, hi. You’re back in the city?”
Delilah simply could not say no to a party. It didn't really matter where she was, if there was, you could probably find her there. So, there she was at the club, dressed up and looking to have a good time. She was about to order herself a drink to start everything off when she locked eyes with a familiar face. It was Aaron. She stopped where she was by the bar, a curious brow raising. "Pretty sure that's my name," she joked as she let out a chuckle. "But yeah, I am."
Aaron looked around the bar, he wasn’t sure who he was looking for or why he was looking — he was just suddenly very nervous. This was the first time he’d seen Delilah since the show ended. He moved to Kingsboro immediately after the show was over, and had no idea where Delilah had went. He had heard she was doing great things with her dancing and he was so happy for her. Of course he was happy for her. She was his first love. “Did, uh, did you move to Kingsboro?” He shouted over the music.
Delilah nodded her head at Aaron's question. "Yeah, I just moved here the other day. Still getting everything situated at my place," she spoke. Oh god, this was nothing sort of awkward. But, she wasn't going to seem like that in front of him. Nope, she was going to look like her normally confident self. "Guess I just wanted to be closer to family, and my older brother," she spoke. It had been ages since she was just a quick drive to Finn and her own parents, not an entire flight across the country.
Aaron made an O with his lips and leaned against the bar. “Well — welcome back to the city. Your career has really been taking off. Congratulations.” Aaron did actually know that her brother had moved into Kingsboro a few years ago but he had managed to avoid him as much as possible so far. He would imagine that he wasn’t exactly his ex’s brother’s favorite person. “ let me know if you need help moving in or anything. I’d be happy to help.” Aaron was determined to her in her good side. They didn’t have a great history and Aaron knew that was his fault. He was determined to make things right. He’d changed a lot since they dated and he wanted to show her that.
"Um, thank you," she spoke simply. Nothing more. The two of them had kept their distance throughout the years since their break up. Thought they hadn't seen each other in person, they exchanged brief text messages through one another but that was pretty much the extent of what their relationship had been. So right now? It was a bit surreal. "I, uh, hired movers to help me but I'll keep that in mind," she nodded her head. Delilah wasn't really sure if she wanted her ex-boyfriend to help her with moving into her new place......it seemed a little odd.(edited)
All the memories of falling in love with her came flooding back as they spoke. He was such a child back then; immature and still living off his father’s money with no regard for it. God, he fell so hard for the woman in front of him. She had someone changed so much, yet not at all since he’s seen her last. I wasn’t sure if there could ever be a friendship between the pair; he was working on one with Eden and not he felt like he needed to work to fix this relationship as well. “Okay...yeah just... let me know.” He told her, nodding once. “Um... can I buy you drink?” He looked behind her then over her shoulder, looking for his high boyfriend to make sure he was okay. No luck. Where was he?
"I will," she offered him a smile. Even if it was forced, she could muster enough within her to act civil. Deep down, there was still a bit of a sting that went with seeing the older boy. They had history to say the least, enough that ended oh so terribly all of those years ago. A thick brow was raised in curiously at the offer of a drink being bought for her. "Um, sure," Delilah nodded her head. She always liked having things bought for her, even if was by an ex.August 2, 2020
Aaron waved down the bartender, and ordered the drink that she always used to get — he didn’t know how things had change. What her drink order was now. Nearly 6 years had passed, after all; Des’ whole life. God, she was even more beautiful now then she was then — he couldn’t even believe that was possible. “You still drink this?” He finally asked as their drinks were served. “You know I own this bar?” He asked. He had no idea why he asked that — Did she remember the club he named after her in Manhattan?
It didn't take long for a bartender to come their way and she was quick to see that Aaron ordered her the drink she typically got when they went out. For a second, things felt like how they did back in the day....drinks flying while she was with the person she loved. She nodded her head as she took the glass, taking a small sip from it. "Some things don't change, Aaron," she replied. "But no, I didn't know that. How many do you own now, moneybags?" she joked.August 3, 2020
He looked down at her, taking in how she looked, the way she dressed. How similar yet different she was now compared to when they were dating. Aaron smiled and let out a chuckle. He slid his hand in his pocket and leaned against the bar. He always admired her wit, and how much fun she was. She always had the ability to make him smile like that. "Five clubs, one restaurant, maybe a brewery soon." He bragged. "How many music videos have you been in now, tinkle toes?" He countered, raising his brow and smirking over at her.
Delilah was liking this; the playful banter. Things were still nothing short of awkward but she could be okay with this. The alcohol sure was helping calm her spirits and help her feel like her typical self. Taking another sip from her glass, she nodded her head. "Sure seems like you have a lot on your plate, are you sure you can handle a brewery too? Jeez," she chuckled. "I have happened to be in lots of videos, plenty of one's have hit million of streams. I just got off of a pretty major tour too," she pointed out.
The businessman shook his head. "Please, you know there's nothing I *can't *do. And I got rid of the porn, which took up a lot of my time so there's plenty of space on my plate for some side projects." He mused, giving her a nonchalant shrug. He immediately thought of Marissa as he watched her speak -- how she didn't get to see her Delilah like Aaron was right now. He also thought about the history between him and the woman in front of him; all the bullshit they went through on the show had to mean that they could get through anything, right? They could still be friends. "Who were you touring with?" He asked. "Ali's about to tour again soon -- you should catch up with her too." He looked around the room again. "She's not here tonight though. She's old." He joked, even though she was actually a couple months younger than him.
"Listen, not everybody is perfect....not even you," she continued with the joking. Aaron's hardwork and ambition was always something she could admire about him. He truly was always busy with something and was very well known within the city for it. Delilah was the same way, though she was much more interested in the dancing and modeling world as of late. "I was on tour with Sia. She's really awesome to work with," she admitted. "How is Alison doing? And everyone else from the show? Hard to believe it's been so long since Rich Kids, we were just well....kids back then," she shrugged her shoulders.
A satisfied smirk appeared across the older’s face. They always had this good, playful back and forth. They always just clicked like that. She had always kept him on his toes when they were dating; always trying to outwit each other. “I’m pretty close to perfect though.” He teased. His phone buzzed in the back of his pocket. He grabbed it and realized he had three texts from Ro. He squinted to read the texts, but decided to shove his phone back in his pocket instead of responding. He was just smoking with Khai outside anyway. There was no way he was going out there to hang out with him. “That sounds really fun.” He said, bringing his attention back to the conversation at hand. “Must’ve been an amazing experience. Congratulations.” Aaron smiled when he brought up Alison. They were still ‘taking a break from each other’. Whatever that meant. But she was still his best friend. “She’s — um — she’s great. I’m sure you heard about the new album. And Des is doing wonderful. She’ll be six on the 28th.” Aaron and Delilah had broken up while Alison was pregnant, and had only met Des once or twice when she was a baby. “You will be amazed at how she grew.” He chuckled. “We’re grown ass adults now. Or — at least we’re supposed to be grown.” He mused.
"Well, if you are perfect, what am I?" she raised a curious brow. She wondered what his response would be. Delilah didn't consider herself a perfect individual, even though many people would be envious of the kind of life style she lived. She had so many many people who looked up to her and saw her as an inspiration, having already accomplished so much in her young age. She wasn't done yet in her career and she had lots of plans on becoming a better version of herself. "It is, I love going out on tours bur for now, it's nice to have some time to relax, for the most part," she admitted. "Sometimes I forget that you have a kid, I feel like half of our castmates have settled down and had families. "Then there's me, I'm just married to my career," she laughed. It was true, dance was her child.
His smirked grew bigger when she continued playing with him. "I said close to perfect. No one's perfect, you're right but you might just be the closest person to perfect that I know." He cooed, chuckling. The show had brought a lot of opportunities for many of his cast mates -- Alison, Harry, Aaron, Marissa, and Delilah too. They were lucky to have all been able to know each other, and now they were supportive in each other's careers. "Vacation is good. I just went to Paris and Japan in June." He told her. He couldn't believe that was that long ago at this point. "Trust me, I don't forget I have a kid. She's impossible to forget because she's the loudest person I know." He laughed. "Hey, you can still be a parent and married to your career. I am." He told her.
"So basically what you are saying is that I'm the closest person to perfect that you personally know? How charming," she kept the jokes coming as she tucked a piece of her dark hair behind her ear. At one point in their lives, she happened to her such a statement a lot. Their relationship might not have lasted a long time, but it sure felt like it did. They fell hard and quick, their feeling strong for one another. "I should book a vacation for myself, but I want to get fully settled here before I make my next moves," she spoke. "You know how I've always been, Aaron. Not sure if a family is in the books for me right now, plus I'm not quite ready to settle down yet, I still have too much fun to get out of my system,"
The man gave her a confident nod. "Yep." He giggled. "You know me, always a charmer." He cooed. Aaron knew Delilah well. At least, he knew the her that she was when they were dating very well. She hadn't seemed to change so much even though her career had taken off. Aaron, on the other hand, had changed a lot since they had broken up. It was mostly the way his relationship ended with her, the way his relationship ended with Aria and Des being born that really woke up him and told him to get his shot together. "Vacations are good. You should do it." He encouraged her. Aaron put his arms out to his sides. "I'm out here, having fun! Not settled down. I'm still in my 20s. The party doesn't end when you're Aaron Hart." He laughed. "I hope you don't think I'm lame just because I have a kid." He teased.
"I have no idea where I'd want to vacation, it's something I'd really have to think about," she admitted. Delilah could honestly vacation anywhere in the world, she had the money for it now. She had grown up middle class, not super rich but her family lived comfortably. It was almost still a little crazy how much money she had brought in from touring and her various movies and music videos she had stared in. Hard work paid off, huh? "To answer your question, no....I do not think you're lame. We're in our late twenties now, plenty of people start families by now. You don't need to prove yourself to me, unless you really want to make me believe you aren't a lame ass dad now," she laughed.
"Paris. That should always be your go to." He said, way too overeager. "You still know that's my favorite place right?" He gave her a charming smile before sipping his drink. "Good, because I'm not. I'm a cool dad. And I want to stay that way too." He mused. "I'm happy with the way everything is going with me, Des, Ali and Ro- m-my , uh, my boyfriend." He cleared his throat, smile faltering a bit. He took another large sig of his drink. "But, uh, yeah a lot of my friends in their 20s have kids too. So I think I'm in track." He pressed his lips together. This had been such a good conversation up until he word vomitted.
”The city of love? Yeah I remember it,” she recalled. Even though it had been years since their break up, she could remember the little things Aaron liked. She wondered if he could remember too, since she was his first real relationship. Taking another sip from her drink, she nodded. “Oh, your boyfriend? Seems like you’ve been quite the busy man these last few years,” she chucked. “Is this Roman fellow someone I should worry about?” She joked, secretly liking to mess with him like this.
He nodded. "Of course you do. You always remember the important things." He mused, smiling down at her. Delilah was something very special to Aaron. She was his first love, after all. Feelings like that don't ever go away. Even if Aaron was the one to inevitably be the cause of the break up. "I have. I seem to be starting a new project every few months or so. It's going great. Look at us; both of our careers taking off." Aaron smiled though when he realized that Delilah was just messing with him. Like the old days. "Nothing, nothing. He's great. He dances too. He's an off broadway performer actually." He said, boasting about his boyfriend's talent. Speaking of..he pulled out his phone to shoot him a quick text back, telling him where he was then slid his phone in his back pocket.
”Oh, he dances too? Seems like you have a type,” she pointed out. Delilah’s biggest passion happened to be dancing and she was always eager to hear when someone else liked to do it too. “What shows has he done? One of the reasons why I wanted to move back here was to possibly see if I might like broadway shows or not. I don’t know, try something new?” She explained herself.
Aaron shook his head and chuckled. “I guess so.” He mused. “I know he was a dancer in Wicked on Broadway but now he owns his own off broadway theater here in Kingsboro. He’s starring in and directing Rocketman that’s playing right now.” He smiled. “I think you’d be great at that, Del.” He confessed.
"Wicked? Seems like he has taste," she nodded her head. Wicked wasn't her favorite musical but it was a classic and true staple when it comes to Broadway shows within the city. "I'm going to try and see if any place would want someone like me. I like to think I'm versatile and have the experience," she added on.
He nodded confidently. "He does. But I also think he kind of just took what he got, ya know? He definitely gets to be more creative now that he owns his own theater company." He nodded. "I mean, Bullskits will more certainly take someone as talented as you are." He told her. It was weird that he wanted his ex-partner to work with his new partner, but he knew she would fit in. "I could definitely talk to Roman...if you want." He was unsure if she would take his help. She was always so independent.
"Well, you gotta start somewhere - huh? I've done my fair share of pure grunt work and being a backup dancer, simply so I can just put my name out there," she admitted. LA was hard for her at first, not landing every single job or audition that she had applied for. Eventually, she grew to hold quite a nice resume and background for herself. "Um, maybe? I can always send over my resume and set up an audition or something. It's worth a shot."
"Exactly." He nodded. "You get it." Aaron scratched his head, and once again scanned the room for his boyfriend. It was his birthday, so why was he talking to his ex? "Yes. Send it to me and I'll make sure to give it to him." He told her, enthusiastically. "Speaking of my boyfriend," he began, putting his hand on her shoulder, "It's his birthday, and I should probably go find him." This was awkward as fuck for him, but he wasn't sure if Delilah was feeling the same way. Without even asking her, he pulled her in for a hug. "Catch up more soon, Del?"
"I never to update mine, but I'll make sure to remember to do that," she spoke, finishing off the drink that had been ordered for her. "Oh well, Happy Birthday to him. Hope he's having fun so far,"Delilah added on, knowing that birthday parties were always a little stressful to enjoy when you were out like this. "But yeah, totally," she hugged him for a quick moment before pulling back, feeling odd after the act. Sure, they were asking civil in the moment, but she still didn't quite know where she stood with him.

Aaron grinned with faux pride, raising his shoulders up and then down in a quick shrug. "Psht. Hey, someone has to. If not me, then who?" A lot more weight blanketed that statement than one could even. It was hard to tell though. He'd always been the outsider of his own family, and even still he was still reminded of that fact more often than he would like or care to admit. People could hardly tell though, not by his playful, jokey demeanor, a cheeky smile always on his face. A coping mechanism or He wasn't sure what it was he lacked in his parents' eyes, for he only ever tried to live up to their expectations. It was hard to try and get them to accept him for who he was when he didn't know what or who he was supposed to be, what their idea of him was. Just that he was a disappointment. Unorganised and chaotic. Despite it all, he was thankful for Aster. Even if it had been a while, due to Aaron's tendency to forget to reply to messages and kept in touch a lot less than he would have liked. No matter how much time had passed, it never felt like anything had changed, they were still intact, in perfect form. Their jokes and playful banter between the two were as strong as ever. It could never get old.
"You didn't think to ask when I didn't respond to the RSVP?" He couldn't resist playing along with their little imaginary scenario; it amused Aaron and the laugh on Aster's behalf was also enough to set him on. Now it was his turn to burst into laughter -- the water-logged and 'fishy' comments had him half bending over the table, a deep laugh emitting, he almost face planted his muffin. "Or flushed down the toilet. Oh, you got me there." He wiped the tears that blurred his vision, the best kind of course. "I'm glad we were able to put a stop to the fishcious rumours now we've come to an understanding." Too much? Maybe a little. Still, even after, he was still laughing about it. Of course, the slightest puns would have him on the verge of keeling over with laughter. Their next comment about their face had him chuckling, softer this time, his face still aching from the residual laughter from before. "I thought I was the one who thought so highly of myself, huh? But you're right. Maybe I have just been so deprived of your face that I needed to see it up close and personal." He shot another grin their way, leaning forward and looking like his was scrutinizing them for a moment. "Yep. Still hot as ever," he said, half teasing as he leaned back again. "Is that what you're hoping for? A love confession, eh?"
Aster smiled at Aaron "You did always think highly of yourself." they smiled shaking their head. The fact that Aaron was handsome always aided in the way people quickly forgave him but in the moment Aster's forgiving nature had nothing to do with the mans looks and more to do with the fact that they were finally getting a chance to sit down and interact with him for the first time in so long. A tasty baked good, no matter how tasty, wasn't about to interfere with that. Aster couldn't get angry at the male they personally struggled with focusing on a single topic at a time. All it took was a single change in the lighting and they would become distracted and zone out or completely change the topic of conversation. Perhaps that was why the two had gotten on so well, it was easy to keep a conversation flowing when neither of you remembered the last topic at hand.
They let out a deep chuckle when Aaron seemed offended by his lack of invitation to the goldfishes wedding. "You didn't get your invite?" Aster questioned as if there had been an invitation sent out in the mail after all. "Must've gotten water logged and never made it." They said shaking their head "I thought it was awfully fishy that you didn't attend." Aside from all the terrible jokes that they were making in leu of the conversation Aster was enjoying the males company. "No of course it isn't a far fetched thought that you just wanted to see me... I mean look at this face." They smiled, framing their face quickly with their hands before laughing. "You just know that I hate beating around the bush so I figured that if this was your way of breaking some news to me, or confessing you're in love with me, I would give you an easy segway into the conversation" they shrugged with a grin that screamed 'full of myself.'

starter for @frombloodandink
"𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒, 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄?" To mold her words and shape her inflections to play to the whims of a man she has little real interest is truly one of her finest skills. Sound younger, use a touch of illusory magic to shed ten years off her form and she becomes exactly his favourite type. They’d met before, years ago, Hall always made herself remember names and faces, especially those who had lived more than a thousand years. Still mere children in her eyes, but the more time one has experienced the more respect she has for them.
For Aaron, Hall sees very little use beyond what she can use. A man who deserves a taste of his own medicine. He is certainly not immune to rumours, especially not among the elites. Palaces and mansions to fill with antiquities, the palaces and mansions antiquities themselves, but again... so young, only hundreds of years old. It’s a shame how much humans trampel on things. The world would be prettier without so much metal. “I don’t believe we ever got to discussing that menage a trois we curtsied around at that auction in the fifteen hundreds.”

you see, vincent didn't know if he really believed in "mindfullness" or "being balanced". life was too fucking rich to remain balanced. if his heart wasn't breaking and his knuckles weren't hitting at every turn, he somehow felt like wasn't really listening. most days went through him like a shadow, like he couldn't hold onto them and their mindfulness for even an hour. but this one grasped him and it felt like it would never let go. all it took was his father's phone call, the words mother and church dropped like it didn't rip vincent apart over and over again. he thought it was selfish of the old man, selfish wanting to see his son step into holy halls again when he had shedded that image a long time ago. at first, it startled him, then it made him nervous, then angry. the most familiar feeling in the world, rage. the primordial emotion that sends heat into his veins, the oldest story he had known. god beware anyone who would cross him. a lot of things aligned that evening. first, he had to be properly upset. check. then the idiotic decision to go outside and pick up a pizza from his favorite pizza place, check. ultimately, the presence of another figure, check. it didn't take much to gain vincent's unwanted attention. in fact, it didn't take anything at all. maybe he imagined the funny look he had received, maybe he did actually get looked at. whatever the case was, vincent felt like fighting and was determined to get the fight he waas looking for. "problem?" he asked, leaning against his car that was parked in front of the pizza place, arms crossed like street belonged to him. / / @leemniscatus

ENTERTAINER MISSION 002
SCHEDULE TYPE: TRIMESTER SCHEDULE RESTRICTIONS: Cannot be paired with another trimester schedule, unless stated otherwise
on OCTOBER 7, HEO AECHA has summoned all the ENTERTAINERS. it’s early in the morning, yet the woman seems fully present and watches on the three trainees in the room. “good morning!” she says, fondly. “nice to see our little group growing little by little. Kit, have you met Jinah and Mitsuki already?” she gives him the time to reply before continuing. “i am the head manager of LGC AGENCY, i oversee the careers of not only the company’s entertainers but also our other talents. which implies that i’m a busy woman and we won’t meet all too often, unfortunately. on a day to day basis, you will be taken charge by your own manager; miss park sunhui. this arrangement might come to change in the future.” her speech is addressed at the newcomer more than the other girls present “i have a lot of subjects to touch up, so let’s get to it!”
DORMS
“the dorm situation is sorted out. you may move in to your new dorms or out of the dorms starting from today. those who are confirmed to leave them can do so from this week. fair warning; it’s not because you aren’t under watch 24/7 that you should start acting harshly. should we hear of bad behavior, you will be brought back to the dorms. this privilege isn’t given to you so you can fool around with your friends and hide us some relationships. it’s not because you’re away that we won’t keep an eye on you. i hope i’m making myself clear.” she takes a moment to look at all the trainee concerned.
SNS
“since we mainly house actors and models and their presence on sns are important, we’ve decided to apply the sme rules to you. you will be allowed to have PUBLIC INDIVIDUAL INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT after meeting certain conditions; first you must have completed a full trimester in this path, then have at least 6 posts on the legacy entertainment account. this will assure us that you know sns etiquette and that we can trust you with the content you will publish.”
DEBUT CONTRACT
“your entertainer debut is right at the corner which means new legal grounds to cover. you will all be handed a contract that will need to be signed and returned as soon as possible. i’ll let you read over them on your own.”
ENTERTAINER MISSION 001: LGC ACCESS
“now that we’re done with all the administrative stuff, let’s move on to your schedules this trimester.” aecha continues. “ we launched LGC ACCESS last trimester, and the show has been well received. we’ll continue delivering news of the company through the show. the three of you will continue introducing our actors this trimester. once again, we won’t provide a script for your interviews, however, you need to make these interviews about the actors. the interviews should help up get to know them, their thoughts and feelings on the new drama they will take part in, Kim Family, and a bit more about the character they play.
Kim Jinah: Kang Jaemin, Kim Mia, Lee Jiae
Techaapaikhun Kit: Jung Miso, Lee Aaron, Son Alec
ENTERTAINER MISSION 002: I LIVE ALONE
“the three of you will be guests on the popular show ‘i live alone’. this show is a documentary-type reality TV show that looks at each celebrities single life. should you currently live in a dorm, we will be renting living quarters for you for a week to film the show. filming will happen in october and broadcast will be in november.“
ENTERTAINER MISSION 003-A: KOREAN LESSONS
“jinah, i am proud to hear about your progress in korean. i heard that you still have some slips when it comes to speaking professionally, but i count on you to show me that you do not need further coaching. for the two others, since you are both not completely fluent in korean, it’s hard to give you more mainstream gig. so for this trimester again, you’ll be attending korean lessons. if you want better jobs in the korean entertainment, you’ll have to get better at speaking the language. alright?.
ENTERTAINER MISSION 003-B: JINAH’S ROOM
“as i mentioned earlier, jinah, we’ve noticed your efforts. therefore, we’ll give you a special v-live 2 hours solo called ‘jinah’s room’. you are free to do as you please as long as it doesn’t infringe any rule. staff will be present to monitor your v-live. one advice; if you think about doing something i wouldn’t do myself, you certainly shouldn’t do it.”
MUSICAL ACTING GIG OPPORTUNITY
before she dismisses everyone, aecha also talks about a new opportunity for this trimester concerning a new musical that is being produced. it has restrictions as to who can participate (you need a necessary amount of acting AND singing or dancing points), and not have a support role for the upcoming sitcom. it has extra writing requirements, but also rewards with nice skill and notoriety points. if your muse might be interested in musical acting, please check this post and read all of the information before signing up!
