@maimedaffair, alec de volturi get a thing from alice cullen.
when he was around, alice couldn't help but feel small. she didn't like the feeling at all. it was like everyone stopped what they were doing, stopped breathing, stopped living when they arrived and they had to say amen to every little things that came out of their mouths. something that she promised herself, no longer letting herself be stepped on by people who say they are inferior when they are all equal. " we are in the year twenty-four thousand, don't you think that the patriarchy has been dead for a while now? the last time i checked, we can vote and say that our body belongs to us. this also works with people like you, who consider themselves royalty while we, peasant, are nothing more than puppets. i have had enough of that. i will no longer be your doll. @mccnlies sent ↳ ❛ did you just say you're leaving? no you're not. not without me. ❜
one would think that becoming a vampire would erase every instance of humanity left. the media portraying his kind as being mindless beasts only driven by one thing - blood. carlisle had proven that false. the man was holier than a saint. it could be irritating at times, especially whenever emmett felt he needed to meet his leader's expectations. carlisle was certainly akin to a father figure in the way that his expression and the shaking of his head showed clear disappointment. emmett sometimes half expected that he'd be sent to his room. despite not killing in years, there had been times when he couldn't help himself [ ... ] revisiting those memories always ended in disaster. they had become a bit blurrier throughout the years of vampirism, but had not completely faded as human memories would with someone as old as carlisle. maybe they should call him grandpa instead of dad.
emmett, who was usually so chipper & optimistic, would become a shadow of himself during september. it was close to the time that he had first been turned. carlisle had warned emmett, told him not to go back to his family home in his condition - newly turned and thirsty. any type of authority always made the young man laugh as he continues to do what he pleases anyway. he would come to regret not taking carlisle's kind-hearted warning seriously. emmett has a bag thrown over his shoulder and sunglasses perched in his dark curls as he descends the stairs to come upon bella. her words have him smiling softly, a prominent dimple on his right cheek.
❝ oh, yeah bells? all the way to tennessee? i think edward would kill me if i took you on a spontaneous road trip. ❞ his brow furrows as if contemplating having her company or not. ❝ screw it. he can rip off my limbs later! i think i kinda uh, well, uh need someone to be there. it's a family thing - my human family thing. i can explain on the way. rose can't come, because i don't like her seeing the person i become when i'm back home. i mean not my home now, but.. whatever it's complicated. ❞ a moment passing before he shakes his head, curls bouncing. ❝ anyway, kid. are you actually on board with this? ❞

Cullens and scary dog privilege
SO this is inspired by a post written by SlasherScreams, one of my favorite writers!
Do they give you scary dog privilege? Cullen edition.
EDWARD
No. Edward has the energy of a sopping wet cat, and he’s viewed as incredibly pretty, almost unnaturally so. People are usually so enthralled by his pathetic energy and dramatic vibes that they completely leave you alone, so it all works out.
ALICE
Actually, yes. She’s so weird it ends up terrifying people, especially when she gives that creepy smile. She knows this and uses it to her advantage to scare off anyone who would hit on you, though creeps do occasionally say something. She just straight up hisses at them, which freaks them out enough to get them to stop. It’s more her liminal energy that affords you the ability to walk down the street without worry.
JASPER
Basically the definition of scary dog privilege when you’re out with him. He’s just got that energy that tells people he’s holding on to his control by a thread, completely willing to snap and fight someone.
EMMETT
Yes. I know that we tend to see Emmett as a total goofball, but he’s actually quite intimidating. He’s 6’5” and all muscle, and he’s got a pretty killer glare. He gives off the energy of a frat boy ready to fight.
ROSALIE
Yes, but only because she quickly builds a reputation as more than willing to defend you by breaking an arm. She doesn’t hold back, and ends up absolutely crushing someone’s hand, and after that, you’re never bothered again.
ESME & CARLISLE
No, but the disappointed parent glare is killer, so whoever is bothering you ends up

Crimson Bonds
Title: “Crimson Bonds”: a Twilight fanfiction
Pairings: Volturi Kings ( Aro, Marcus, Caius ) x Reader Male ( Bella’s Brother )
Genre: Supernatural Romance | Drama |
Angst | Dark Fantasy | Slow Burn (Implied) | Power Dynamics|
Warnings: Power Imbalance, Possessive Behavior, Violence & Threats, Dark Themes, Sibling Conflict.
Summary: When Bella races to Volterra to save Edward from exposing himself to the world, the Volturi discover a secret the Cullens never intended to reveal—Bella’s brother.

The air in the Volturi’s marble throne room felt colder than usual as Aro’s pale fingers slid into Alice’s hand, eyes widening with rapture. The echoes of Bella’s frantic heartbeat still rang in the vast chamber, where she and Edward stood before the vampire kings, pleading for their lives.
But then Aro paused.
He stilled as though time had halted, the world fading from his consciousness while a new vision unfurled before his mind's eye—one Alice herself hadn't seen, hidden in the tangled future, obscured even from her sight.
A boy.
No—a man. Human. Living quietly in Forks. Bella’s brother. But unlike Bella, his existence wasn’t mundane.
Aro's eyes flickered with sudden hunger, curiosity, purpose. A smile curled across his lips, bone-white and unblinking.
"You’ve been keeping secrets, my dear," he whispered, hand slipping from Alice’s. His eyes landed not on her, nor Edward, but Bella. "I wonder, Isabella... does your brother know just how important he truly is?"
Bella stiffened. "What—"
But Caius rose then, like a predator scenting blood.
"A mate," he said, voice low and sharp. "We feel him. Even from here. His blood... his soul. He belongs to us."
Marcus didn’t speak. His black eyes turned far away, and though silent, his presence loomed—he felt the bond too. The rare, ancient tie of a true mate. And it wasn’t with any human woman. It was with him.
You.
——
You felt it before they arrived.
A whisper in your blood. A pulse in your bones that didn’t belong to you.
The wind howled outside your window in Forks, but the stillness inside your chest was louder. You didn't know what it meant—only that Bella hadn’t come home. That she’d gone to Italy. That something was wrong.
And then, the kings came.
Three figures in cloaks like shadows pulled from nightmares, gliding through your door as if it weren’t even there. Aro, with a smile like frostbite. Caius, burning with disdain. Marcus, who merely looked at you and whispered, “Finally.”
You didn't fight.
You couldn't.
Because when Aro reached out and took your hand, you felt it—them.
Something ancient awakened. A thread of fate pulling tight. The overwhelming sensation of being seen—not as Bella’s brother, not as a human—but as something theirs. Something powerful. Something claimed.
"You belong to us," Aro said gently. “And we do not take well to being kept from what is ours.”
——
The Cullen house exploded in fury when they found out.
Carlisle, usually calm, struck the stone table hard enough to crack it.
"You went to him? Without telling us? Without giving him a choice?"
“He chose,” Aro said simply. “He felt the bond. It cannot be denied. Not by you. Not by Bella. Not even by him.”
“But you would have killed us,” Rosalie snarled, her eyes burning.
“Yes,” Caius replied coldly, “and still might. You kept him hidden. You tried to sever the bond. That is treason.”
“You hid our mate from us,” Aro added, voice sharp now. “From me.”
The Volturi had never shared a mate before. But in you, they did. A paradox the vampire world had never seen—a single human soul tied to all three kings. You were theirs. Not one. Not two. But all three.
And yet, the Cullens fought.
Edward, desperate. “He’s not like you. He’s good. You’ll destroy him.”
But you were already in Volterra. You stood at the kings’ side, a strange calm in your chest. It wasn’t submission. It wasn’t fear. It was inevitability.
You could feel it.
The way the darkness curled around you but didn’t consume you. How Aro’s touch didn’t chill, but steadied. How Marcus, silent as ever, never left your side. How Caius—feral, cruel—watched you like a starving man seeing sunlight for the first time.
They weren’t here to break you. They didn’t want to.
They wanted you to rule.
“I’m not a prisoner,” you said, voice low but certain, silencing the room. “I’m here because I chose to be.”
Bella looked at you like she didn’t recognize you.
You gave her a soft smile.
“I’ll be okay, Bella. This is... right.”
Aro stepped forward and placed a hand on your shoulder, smiling proudly. “And now, the Volturi are whole.”
The Cullen clan was forced to leave. Not defeated—banished. The kings allowed their lives only because you had asked them to.
And in the depths of Volterra, in the heart of ancient power, you began to change.
Not broken. Not lost.
But rising.
The kings’ true mate.
And their future.

"Disown her favorite kids? Doubtful," he responded with a laugh of his own. It was no use pretending to Alice that he hadn't been the one to knock the damn thing over. She probably saw it was going to happen beforehand anyway. Not to mention that she was kind of his partner in crime with things like this. "Besides, think of how boring this family would be without us. Jasper would miss you too much, Edward would do his usual sulking, and no one would stop Rose from fighting with Edward. Really, we keep the family together," he beamed. "...We should clean it up though, right?"
alice laughs a little too loudly, and it almost like emmett's comment is the funniest thing she's ever heard. it could be, because she knows as well as he does that he had been the one to break esme's vase by horsing around. it was classic emmett, but they loved him for it. she couldn't blame him, though—she'd broken her fair share of things, too. "seriously, if we keep breaking esme's things like this, she's going to disown us."

Eclipsed by You ~ A Paul Lahote story
A/N: Its definitely shorter than other parts. I've been super busy and under the weather lately but I hope you guys enjoy this short Chapter! Better buckle up too, its getting even better later on.
Chapter Thirteen ~ Tipping the Scale
Pauls POV
I let it happen again. I lost her.
My anger got the best of me, and now she’s gone. It’s been twenty-four hours—twenty-four agonizing hours—and no one has seen her. She was there. I was there. And then, just like that, she vanished. As if she had never been real, as if she were nothing more than a ghost.
Where the hell is Vesper?
If that redheaded leech so much as lays a finger on her—God.
How could I have been so reckless? How could I have walked away?
“Edward, we need to find my sister!” Bella’s frantic voice rang through the Cullens’ house, thick with panic. She was on the verge of breaking, and I wasn’t far behind her.
I never thought I’d find myself here, in the home of bloodsuckers, but for Vesper? I’d be anywhere. I’d do anything.
“Fuck!” I shot up from my seat, pacing, fists clenched so tightly my nails nearly broke skin. My body trembled with rage, with helplessness. I wanted to hurt something—myself, anything—to drown out the gnawing, gut-wrenching guilt eating me alive. I let this happen. I walked away. And now she was gone.
“Paul! Paul!” Sam’s voice cut through the haze, sharp and commanding. He was trying to pull me back, to keep me from slipping into the very thing I couldn’t control. His hands gripped my shoulders, a silent warning.
But it was useless.
The Cullens hadn’t seen the worst of me yet. Not even close. And if we didn’t find her soon, they were about to.
No one has ever meant this much to me. No one has ever made me feel the way she does.
I love her.
I didn’t realize how badly until now — until she was gone. The thought of never seeing her again claws at my chest, twisting tighter with every second that passes. My heart aches, fractured so deeply it feels like it’s barely holding together. Each breath comes short and sharp, like my lungs can’t expand enough to keep me standing.
I need to find her. I can’t think, I can’t focus — all I know is that I have to get her back. Because if I don’t…
I won’t survive it.
Even as I teeter on the edge of breaking, I force it down — for Vesper’s sake. Falling apart won’t bring her back. Moping won’t find her.
“Alice,” I snap, turning to the short-haired girl beside the leech who looks like he’s in pain —Jasper, I think. “You have that weird future-seeing thing, right?” I remember Vesper mentioning it once, like it was just another strange quirk in this twisted world.
“She won’t see anything past you mutts,” Rosalie cuts in, her tone cold and sharp.
I spin toward her, my body tightening, heat searing beneath my skin. Sam’s hand presses firmly against my chest, a silent warning. Before I can snap, Carlisle gives Rosalie a pointed look, silencing her.
“I’m sorry,” Alice says softly, her voice tinged with genuine regret. “I’ve tried… but I can’t see anything.”
My jaw tightens as I clench my fists so hard they tremble. Anger coils in my gut — anger at her, at myself, at the world — but mostly at the fact that I’m powerless.
And Vesper doesn’t have time for me to be powerless.
“I’m going back,” I say, my voice rough and strained. “Back to where I last smelled her scent. Maybe... maybe that’ll help.” It’s a thin thread of hope — barely there — but it’s all I’ve got.
“Paul, you’re on to something,” Edward chimes in, his voice steadier than mine. He’s leaning against the wall, hands tucked in his pockets like he’s calm — but I can see it. The tension in his shoulders, the way his eyes flicker with something that mirrors my own desperation. “Maybe if we can pick up a trail…”
I nod, barely able to speak past the lump in my throat.
It’s a long shot — but right now, it’s the only shot we’ve got. And no matter what it takes, I won’t stop until I find her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My eyes wandered over the creek that divided our territories, the cold air biting against my skin. The memory of the last time I saw her face flickered in my mind, her voice — all of it clashing with the crushing reality that she was gone. A chill crawled down my spine, stronger than the wind.
I walked along the water’s edge, my boots crunching against damp leaves and scattered twigs. Then something caught my eye — a faint glimmer on the ground.
I knelt down, fingers curling around the delicate chain. My breath hitched as I realized what it was — the necklace I’d given her on her birthday. I could still remember the way her face lit up when she opened the box, how she’d run her fingers over the pendant like it was something precious.
That memory... it was engraved in my head — warm, perfect, and now painfully distant.
I swallowed hard and slid the necklace into my pocket, clenching it in my fist like holding on to it might somehow keep her closer.
“I found a scent!” Emmett’s voice rang out in the distance, sharp and urgent.
My heart kicked against my ribs as I shot to my feet.
Please, I begged silently, let this lead to her.
Emmett had found a bloody handprint smeared across the bark of a tree, stark and crimson against the pale wood. My blood turned ice-cold at the sight.
“You don’t think it’s Ve—” Bella’s voice faltered, her breath catching like she couldn’t say it out loud. Like saying it would make it real.
“It’s not,” I cut her off, my voice rough and sharp. It couldn’t be. It wouldn’t be. It Cant be.
But the metallic scent clung to the air, making my stomach twist. My fingers curled into fists as I stared at the dried blood trailing deeper into the woods. My pulse thundered in my ears.
“I’m going to kill that redheaded leech,” I snarled, barely able to contain the fire burning beneath my skin. My muscles trembled, the heat crawling dangerously close to the surface.
I pushed forward, following the blood-stained path like a predator locked on its prey. Bella surprised me by keeping up, her breath ragged but her pace relentless.
Desperation fueled her — the same desperation clawing at my chest. She wanted to find her sister just as badly as I did.
And if that blood belonged to Vesper...
I didn’t let myself finish the thought. I couldn’t. All I knew was that I wouldn’t stop until I found her — no matter what it took.
The day was beginning to wind down, the sun bleeding into the horizon with streaks of orange and gold. Shadows stretched across the ground, swallowing the forest in creeping darkness. The air turned colder, the chill biting at my skin — but I didn’t care. Nothing was going to stop me.
I was dedicated — no, driven — to getting my girl back in one piece.
The woods felt different at night. The silence wasn’t calm; it was heavy, unsettling. Every rustling leaf and distant snap of a branch put me on edge. The air clung thick with tension, as if the trees themselves knew something terrible had happened.
But I wasn’t afraid of the dark, or whatever might be lurking out here. The only thing that scared me was what I was holding back — the way my wolf was clawing at my insides, threatening to break free.
I couldn’t let that happen — not now. Not with Bella and the others counting on me to keep it together. They couldn’t see how badly this was tearing me apart. How losing her — even for a moment — made my chest feel like it was caving in.
I kept moving, pushing down the burn beneath my skin. Because right now, none of that mattered.
“Shit!” I roared, my voice breaking as the trail we’d been following came to a sudden, bitter end. The blood, the scent — it all stopped here. A dead end.
That leech had played us — played me.
I staggered back, the weight of it all hitting me like a punch to the gut. My legs gave out, and I dropped to the ground, barely feeling the dirt beneath me. The pain I’d been choking down — the helplessness — finally broke free, tearing me apart from the inside out.
I swore to protect her. I promised her. And I’d failed.
My arms locked around my knees, my head falling between them as I tried to hold myself together. But I couldn’t. The ache hollowed me out, and before I knew it, the sobs were breaking free — raw and guttural. I couldn’t stop them.
For the first time, I didn’t care who saw me like this. Didn’t care that I was crumbling right in front of them.
Bella moved beside me, her hand resting on my shoulder — firm, steady, and warm. She didn’t say anything at first, but her silence spoke volumes. She knew. She knew how bad this was — how much Vesper meant to me.
When I lifted my head just enough to look at her, I saw the tears clinging to her lashes. She was breaking too — breaking for her sister. For me.
“We’re gonna find her,” she whispered, her voice shaky but determined. “We have to.”
I swallowed hard, forcing down the next sob. I couldn’t speak — couldn’t even nod — but Bella’s hand stayed on my shoulder, grounding me just enough to remember that giving up wasn’t an option.
“What does she want with Vesper?” Bella’s voice broke the silence, shaky but demanding. She turned sharply toward the Cullens, her face pale and tight with fear.
“It’s me she’s after,” Bella choked out, her voice barely above a whisper. Her gaze dropped to the floor, like saying it out loud made the truth even heavier.
I clenched my jaw, trying to tune out the panic threatening to take over. But she was right — none of this made sense. Victoria had been hunting Bella — we all knew that. So why change the plan now? Why go after Vesper instead?
My mind raced, every memory of that night playing back like a broken reel. What happened between Victoria and Vesper in that brief encounter?
Had Vesper done something — said something — that changed Victoria’s mind? Or was this all just a twisted game, one designed to hurt Bella in the worst way possible?
None of it added up, and the unknown gnawed at me.
“She shouldn’t have been dragged into this,” I muttered bitterly, barely realizing I’d spoken out loud. My hands curled into fists, nails digging into my palms.
“She’s strong,” Bella whispered, her voice thin but firm. “Vesper’s stronger than people think.”
I swallowed hard, wanting to believe that. Needing to believe that.
But the image of that bloody handprint flashed in my mind again, and my chest tightened like a vice.
Wherever Vesper was, I just hoped she was still fighting to hold on. Because I sure as hell wasn’t giving up on her.
@foundationbuilt, niklaus mikaelson ; semi plotted starter with alice cullen.
alice had a bad feeling when she found herself face to face with klaus mikaelson. she didn't know what he wanted from her. she has heard and read a lot about him. she has seen his crime too. something she didn't liked much but couldn't blame him from. ifshe was in his place, if she had a baby to protect on her own, which they all have done already with renesmee, well, she would have done the same. still doesn't change the fact that when she learned that a hybrid was looking for her, she couldn't help but do some research. she didn't want bad people around her family. especially when renesmee was there. arms crossed, she scrutinized the man in front of her as she added, defensively. " why should i help you?iI don't know you and on top of that,iI don't want to be around… werewolves. you lot give me the creeps. "
timewarp!twilight: a time travel au
[throughout the series, Bella Swan has prophetic dreams that reveal her future (or present predicament) in cryptic ways. but tho Bella can peek forward in time, her true power lies in the past.]
time first unzips when James sinks his teeth into Bella at the ballet studio.
the burning in her veins overwhelms her. for a delirious moment she seizes from venom & bleeds out on a hospital room's tile floor where her mother is giving birth. to her.
the Cullens barge into the studio. Bella's writhing on the ground. they never see the warp. a stunned James is defeated.
Bella says nothing, chalking it up to a near-death experience. ofc she can't unravel the fabric of time lol like what?? who does that???
over summer, night terrors haunt her when Edward is away.
the "good" dreams give her flashes of the future. wolves. light. cliffs. a stone antechamber. red hair. a casket.
it's the nightmares she fears the most.
her PTSD-fueled flashbacks feel so real, she unzips time to escape James's attack & wakes up in random places as if sleepwalking.
at first they're tiny jumps. a few minutes back. then several months before she meets Edward. then the day Renee leaves Charlie with Bella in tow.
the night after her disastrous birthday party, her nightmare dumps her in the back alley of a neon-lit diner.
this isn't home. not 2006, not 1996, not 1986, even...
disoriented, she stumbles in and sits at the counter. the folded newspaper by the napkin dispenser, the Philadelphia Herald, reads March 3rd, 1950.
oh god.
when she looks up, a familiar pixie-haired vampire stares back at her with moony gold eyes.
"you've kept me waiting a long time," says Alice, pushing a plate of pancakes toward her.
time zips. back in bed. morning. 2006. Bella scrambles to school to tell Edward about the time skips.
ofc, it's hard to speak when you're being sucker-punched in the gut by your first love's painful breakup monologue.
instead of confessing, Bella says goodbye.
October. November. December. January.
as the wolves shift and Laurent stops in for a visit snack, Forks gets all gunked up with paranormal vibes. Bella warps further back for longer periods. 1935. 1933. 1911. 1863.
luckily, she often crosses paths with the Cullens. as humans, she knows, they won't remember her. it's cathartic to see them, if only for a few moments...but it's never enough.
she pulls increasingly dangerous stunts to keep traveling. motorcycling. chasing wolves. stalking vampires. on & on.
Bella dives off a cliff to chase the visions.
she smacks the water & warps to 1918.
human Edward Masen immediately falls in love with a drenched & shivering Bella Swan. over the evening, she falls in love with him. again. ugh.
but was it a time skip, or a near-death experience? she wakes up coughing water, Jake breathing life into her on the beach.
Alice returns. with a renewed love for Edward (ugh), Bella jets off to Italy to save him & meet the Volturi.
back in forks, the vote ignites a fiery rage she'd buried for months.
how could they do this to her? how could they break her heart & leave her behind when she needed them?? did they even stop to think about Laurent??? the wolves?! VICTORIA?!!
just as she lunges for Edward to rip his stupid face off, time unzips in front of them & she vanishes.
further back than she's ever gone.
London. 1640s.
human Carlisle tries using a silver cross to defend himself against a starving vampire while Bella looks on.
when the vampire's eyes find hers, the horror of what Bella has been doing settles in like a dense fog.
with each time skip, Bella seals their fate.
not only is Bella the thread that ties the Cullens together in time, but Bella aligns the stars for every member to become a vampire.
in the 1640s, she is the scent that pulls the starving vampire away from Carlisle.
in 1863, María sees Bella's warp & pursues her until she finds confederate Jasper Hale on his way to Galveston.
in 1911, her time skip startles 16 y.o. Esme out of a tree, breaking the girl's leg. she is treated by Dr. Cullen.
in 1918, a cold & wet Bella gives Edward the flu.
in 1933, Carlisle spots Bella on his way home from the hospital & finds her so eerily familiar he calls out & rushes to catch up. frightened by the commotion, Royce et al leave a dying Rosalie in the street.
in 1935, warping into a forest pisses off a huge black bear. Emmett saves her & subsequently gets mauled.
in 1950, she listens to Alice tell the story of her only human memory: prophesizing as a little girl about the "lady in the blue jeans" who comes to visit, to the horror & disgust of her superstitious parents. they throw her in an insane asylum.
now, in 2006, she reappears & falls at the Cullens' feet. her face reflects their looks of shock.
it was her. it was always her.
& all because she ditched Alice & Jasper to confront James at the ballet studio.
"oh god," she whispers from the floor in a broken voice. tears blur her vision. Bella looks up at the family of vampires. "i think i've made a terrible mistake."
"ah, meu pai.. claro. na verdade, sinto muito por isso." o riso suave vindo de alice, apesar de compadecer com a situação da outra, também demonstrava chateação pela falta de ligação entre as duas. era de se esperar quando o pai parecia conhecer toda a cidade, porém anotou mentalmente que nem todos estavam presentes em seus sonhos. "uma floricultura? mesmo?" ergueu as sobrancelhas, uma coinscidência muito útil. por isso, sorriu ao estender a mão para um aperto animado e até eufórico. "bella, o prazer é todo meu, porque vou dar uma festa e preciso de um jardim inteiro." os olhos arquearam e provavelmente alguns teriam dúvida se tratava de um planejamento de festa ou um plano malígno.
por um segundo o coração de bella parou e ela podia sentir que alice se recordava dela, a esperança ainda lhe invadindo, porém a outra apenas lhe perguntou se ela era uma estudante e um suspiro chateado saiu. triste por sua melhor amiga (ou deveria dizer ex-melhor amiga?) não se lembrar de si, bella pensou que não poderia ser uma coisa dos cullen, por tanto, terem a preso naquela cidade, caso contrário, alice saberia ou se lembraria, correto? "ah, eu conheço o seu pai, estou sempre lá no hospital, é o karma de ser um desastre em pessoa" sorriu fraco, aquela poderia ser uma desculpa boa, carlisle era muito conhecido na cidade, não era? "não sou universitária, trabalho na kabloom floricultura" comentou, tentando mostrar que talvez ela estivesse lhe confundindo com alguém ou alguma coisa parecida. "bom, meu nome é bella. muito prazer."
“What do you mean?” Carlisle asked, threading carefully on what will happen next
“You’re not human.” Celine concluded with Carlisle not answering her question immediately “What are you?”
“My love…” Carlisle started, looking at her, but he was met with no kind of adoration in her eyes anymore “Yes, I am not human. But I do not intend on harming you.”
“I know.” Celine said, the glint of calmness was now back in her eyes “I just need to know what you are. For my peace of mind, I guess.”
“You’ll either laugh or get extremely concerned if I tell you what I actually am.” He whispered lowly, ashamed of himself
“A vampire?” Celine asked him again
“How did you know?” Carlisle asked almost immediately. He looked at Celine, realizing that she didn’t actually know and that it was just a rough guess that he confirmed.
“A vampire? In a hospital?” Celine asked her, her eyebrows furrowed at the irony of it. There were so many questions running in her mind
“I-I have to go.” Carlisle answered, standing up and picking up his clothes, quickly wearing his shirt and rushing out of her house to his car
‘She knows’ Carlisle was panicking as he drove off back to their house. Thoughts swirled chaotically in his mind, making it impossible for him to think straight. He hit his steering wheel in anger before driving back home in silence, his grip on the steering wheel painfully tight
“Celine knows.” Edward announced to everyone, carefully reading Carlisle’s thoughts
“What do you mean, ‘she knows’? We were careful with it.” Rosalie asked her
“We were careful, Carlisle probably wasn’t.” Edward continued in conclusion “I tried telling you that this was the same as with me and Bella before, but no one believed me.”
“Will we have to move?” Renesmee asked
“No, no. Carlisle will decide on that.” Bella assured her “Besides, we can’t move yet, you need to finish your high school.”
“Well, with what’s happening, we might have to.” Rosalie said, sitting down on one of their couches
“I’m sure Carlisle will have an explanation.” Esme said, trying to calm everyone down. She was just as nervous; would they really just leave Celine like that?
“She figured it out on her own.” Edward said, reading into her mind “She’s not mad. Actually, she’s driving to our place now, at an incredibly dangerous but legal speed. Celine wants to chat with Carlisle.”
“Carlisle left her?” Emmett asked “Weren’t they just having sex earlier?”
“Emmett!” Edward yelled, covering Renesmee’s ears as she laughs at their antics
“My question still stands. Weren’t they just doing something earlier?” Emmett said, chuckling as Renesmee lightly slaps Edward’s hand off her, wanting to listen to what was happening
“Yeah, she’s kind of annoyed about that. But she’s more annoyed that Carlisle just ran away.” Edward said, still reading into Celine’s mind
“Couldn’t even wait until she fell asleep.” Rosalie said, playfully rolling her eyes
“So, you’re warming up to her now?” Jasper asked, teasing her lightly
“I mean, you heard Alice.” Rosalie shrugged “One way or another, she’s gonna be a vampire. We only prevented that rogue vampire from doing it early on.”
“You just want her to not jump first into being one of us?” Bella asked her, knowing and understanding what Rosalie now meant when she was still human
“She’s smart, she would think of the consequences first.” Esme said, already having heard stories about Celine from Carlisle “Besides, Carlisle won’t push her into that.”
“Carlisle is—
“I fucked up.” Carlisle announced, rushing in the house. All of them yelled and closed their eyes, having just seen him in his boxers
“Carlisle, go wear something!” Esme scolded, getting Carlisle to rush up to his room and get dressed into something more casual
“He technically told Celine that we’re vampires.” Edward told everyone as he rushes down the stairs
“Did you even see her reaction?” Jasper asked, Carlisle only shook his head no
“Well now you will, because she’s outside the house.” Jasper said, opening the main door of their house, seeing Celine
“You didn’t tell me that your house was very cold.” Celine said as a greeting to everyone, shivering from the coldness
“Come, let’s talk in my office. Then I’ll introduce you to my family.” Carlisle said, walking to her and taking her hand, leading her to his office
“What now?” Celine asks, rubbing her hands together in an attempt to warm her down. Carlisle immediately grabbed the hanged coat in his office and placed it on her shoulder. The sight of her in his clothes warming him up a bit
“I don’t know.” Carlisle muttered lowly “What do you want now?”
“Well,” Celine said, sitting on the table of his office “I’m not scared that you’re a vampire, if you’re worried about that. And I don’t plan to make that this week’s hospital gossip too, if you’re somehow more worried about that.”
“Thank heavens.” Carlisle let out a big sigh
“Why?” Celine asked him “Is it like a vampire law to not let any non-vampires know about your existence?”
“Kind of, it’s tough to explain.” Carlisle answered, moving closer to her. He knows that he won’t do much help with her being cold, he just wanted to be near her
The silence between the two was comforting but nerve-wracking. Carlisle couldn’t figure out what was going on Celine’s mind
‘Probably filled with calling me a monster’ a part of his mind said to him
“I think you owe me the truth.” Celine whispered softly, looking at him with a smile “The whole truth, no more of that weird ex-girlfriend stuff. Because you and I both know that that was a very shit lie.”
“Where do you want to start then?” Carlisle asked, walking and grabbing some chairs for her to sit on
“How old are you?” Celine immediately asked, sitting down on the chair that he offered to her
“You have to be a bit more specific than that, my love.” Carlisle chuckled softly, joining her in sitting down
“All of your ages then.” She told him. Her eyes had this twinkle of curiosity, wanting to know more about him
“Well, I was 23 or so when I was turned into a vampire.” He answered, as Celine furrowed her eyebrows, he took it as a sign to continue “It was the 1600’s, we didn’t have a really good date tracking date by then.”
“You’re roughly 300 years old.” Celine said, a shock on her face
“382 to be exact.” Carlisle revealed, getting him to shy away.
‘Now it looks creepy’ he thought to himself, watching her reactions
“Wow, never thought I’d date that old.” Celine teased him, getting him to let out a sigh of relief
“To be fair, you are already four years older than me in a sense.” He tried to tease her, letting out a small laugh
“I’m four years older than you and 350 years younger than you at the same time. I wish I could say that the math isn’t mathing but it is.” She said, a smile resting on her face.
And Carlisle could only wish that he could freeze the moment between them, take a picture of them and engrave it in his mind, a memory that would remind him of their short-term happiness.
Because who would choose an eternity of being stuck the way you are?
“Esme is 127, Edward and Alice are 121, Rosalie and Emmett are 107, and Jasper is 178 but he’s the last to join us alongside Alice, minus Bella.” Carlisle continued introducing his family
“Bella? As in Bella Swan? As in the chief’s daughter?” Celine asked as ne nodded in response
“She’s with Edward, she’s 35.” Carlisle continued “And the youngest, Renesmee, she’s 16. Edward and Bella’s daughter.”
“So, humans and vampires can procreate too?” Celine asked lowly
“Yeah, but if you think that I’m only pursuing you for that, then you’ve got it all wrong.” He immediately assured her
“Then why pursue me?” Celine asked, looking at him, her eyes begging him for an answer
As Carlisle gazed at Celine, a profound sense of sorrow washed over him. The weight of her pain and self-doubt bore heavily upon his heart, stirring a deep well of empathy within him. He longed to ease her burden, to carry her suffering as his own. Carlisle realized that she always doubted herself underneath the confident aura, thinking that she was worth nothing if she couldn't bear a child.
“Because my heart belongs to you. I belong to you.” Carlisle answered as he stood up, his hands cupping her cheeks and leaving a peck on her forehead
Celine wiped the tears threatening off her face. Never has she felt so loved until now, until with Carlisle. He hugged her, thinking that the tears coming out of her were tears of sadness, of disappointment with herself.
“You’re so kind to me.” Celine mumbled, wrapping her arms around him
They stayed in that moment. Celine has never thought to feel this way so easily about a man, it’s like she was drawn to him. It was as though the universe had conspired to craft their love story, aligning the stars to guide them together.
He was made for her.
“Are you two good now?” A brown-haired woman asked, checking in the office. She was jaw-droppingly gorgeous, getting Celine to subtly feel inferior to her
‘Why did Carlisle not end up with her?’ She questioned to herself
“We are, Esme. Just needed to collect ourselves.” Carlisle answered to her, wiping off the tear stains before leaving small kisses on the apples of her cheek
“Good, your kids are dying to meet her.” Esme said, a smile on her face.
She was gorgeous, her brown hair rested nicely on her shoulders, her eyes held the same golden shade that Carlisle had. Esme had this maternal aura around her, subtly informing Celine that the Cullens is in no need of a mother figure to fill in
‘Then what am I here for then?’ Celine questioned to herself, stopping her face from forming a frown
“Well, since you’re here.” Carlisle said, motioning Celine to come closer to him “My love, this is Esme. My sister.”
“Hi, I’m Celine!” Celine greeted her with a smile and a small wave. Carlisle instinctively placed his arms around her shoulders, pulling her closer to him. Esme immediately liked her energy.
Celine was a fresh breath on a warm day, the one that feels like you’re being lifted by the wind itself.
“We’ve heard a lot about you.” Esme said, opening the door a bit wider for them to go out of “Come, I’m sure the kids would love to meet you.”
“Rosalie is kind of…iffy with you right now. But she’ll come around.” Carlisle warned as they walked out the room. There were seven looking adults, all looking and watching them as they come down the stairs
“Everyone,” Carlisle said as they get down the last step of the stairs “This is Celine.”
“Hi!” A girl with a pixie cut greeted. Celine couldn’t help but notice how she was towered by everyone else in the room “I’m Alice! I’ve seen this happen.”
“Alice, don’t—
“Oh, it’s alright.” Celine assured to the guy with brown hair, a face that was vaguely familiar to her “After finding out that vampires are real, what more is there to limit the imagination?”
“I’m Bella.” Bella introduced herself “Though I know you already know that, seeing as I remember seeing you grow up.”
‘At least there’s a familiar face’ she thought, letting out a small sigh of relief
“You make it weird saying it like that.” Another guy with brown hair teased Bella. He was really buff, getting Celine to be intimidated “Emmett by the way. This is my wife, Rosalie.”
The woman that Emmett pointed at, Rosalie, only looked at her. A face that Celine can’t seem to figure out what it was saying to her. Rosalie was drop dead gorgeous, any insecurity that she felt earlier to Esme was now tripled in Rosalie’s presence. Her gold hair, which was tied up in a ponytail right now, shone golden.
‘I don’t belong here’ her mind cruelly told her
“Babe, don’t do this now, please?” Emmett said to his wife, rubbing her shoulders to try and calm her down
“It’s fine. Must be unusual having a human be over casually.” Celine assured them again.
‘Who am I to complain about their behavior?’ she thought to herself
“I’m Edward, Bella’s husband.” Edward, the guy that tried to stop Alice earlier, introduced himself “And this is our daughter Renesmee.”
Renesmee waved her hand at Celine cheerfully. Whatever kind of nervousness she got from Rosalie was relieved with Renesmee. She was a walking sunshine.
“I’m Jasper.” A blond guy, Jasper, said with a small wave. He shared the same hair color as Rosalie did, though his was just above his collar “Pleasure to finally meet you.”
“Pleasure to meet you too.” Celine said to everyone
Celine felt awkward with everyone’s eyes on her, getting a feeling that she wouldn’t fit in their perfectly made illusion of a family. It was making Celine feel pity for herself.
“Carlisle, have you told her?” Edward asked quietly
“Tell me what?” She asked instead of Carlisle
“My kids…” Carlisle started slowly “Some of them have special gifts. Edward can telepathically read minds, Alice can see into the future, Jasper can control emotions, Bella can block Edward’s telepathy and basically anything that is of the using of mind, and Renesmee can transmit thoughts to others.”
“So—
“I didn’t intend to, but it was practically just yelling.” Edward confirmed her suspicion, getting Celine to push her lips in a thin line and just nod in response
“I do not plan into turning you into a vampire—
“Thank you.” Celine said, looking at Carlisle “I’d love to do some thinking first before making a final decision.”
“What?” Bella asked, her eyes widened at Celine
“It won’t be an easy transition for me.” Celine answered, looking at Bella “It may have worked out for you, but it wouldn’t immediately work out for me.”
“I would understand if you also would want to go back to how we were.” She continued, now turning her attention to Carlisle “Seeing as I’m technically rejecting you now.”
“Oh no, I don’t see that as a rejection. Carlisle said, shaking his head no to her “Even if for a short while, I would love to be given a chance to pursue you. To make you feel loved and appreciated.”
‘It will be more than enough for me to carry for eternity’ Carlisle wanted to add. He looked at Edward and slightly shook his head no, asking him to not say what his thoughts wanted to
“Are you sure?” Celine asked him again
“Of course.” Carlisle answered almost immediately, a comforting smile on his face
“Then, I think a second date should be in the talks soon.” Celine said, kissing Carlisle’s cheek before walking to the front door
“It’s been an honor to meet you all.” She said, looking around the family that was watching her “I would assume that it won’t be the last time we’ll see each other.”
Celine walked out and closed the door behind her. The family was listening intently for her car to leave before even thinking of saying their thoughts out loud
“…I think that went well.” Esme said, her hand clasped together and her lips pushed in a thin line “It didn’t, that was shit.” Rosalie said, shaking her head no at Esme “At least she wasn’t jumping headfirst into being a vampire.”
˚ ༘♡ ·˚ ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ Hello hello! 21+ mun (they/them) looking for STRICTLY 18+ roleplay partners and roleplays. I would prefer to write over discord in a server I create, since I can be a bit picky about it. I'm particularly looking for either fandom OR fandomless roleplays. I write lit to advanced lit (novella but only on occasion), and write in third person ONLY. I will not write in first, sorry!
Some fandoms I would be interested in would include…
House of the Dragon // Game of Thrones // Hazbin Hotel // Legend of Zelda (Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom specifically) // Dragon Age
For each one, I have some things I'm specifically looking for, and I'll listen them below.
♡ House of the Dragon — CCxCC mostly, however I am open to OCs if they're well developed and make sense. I'd like someone to write against my Rhaenyra, no matter the pairing, relationship, etc. (Preference of a Daemon, Laenor, another Targaryen, Aegon, or Alicent. However any CC welcome!)
♡ Game of Thrones — CCxCC mostly, too, however same as above. OCs welcome if well developed. I'd like to write a few characters, however I focus heavily on the Starks, particularly Sansa, and Daenerys. I'm willing to write against anyone. (No preference, but romance lean ideally.)
♡ Hazbin Hotel — CCxCC mostly, as I'm not fond of OCs for this. I can write a few characters: Charlie, Alastor, Angel Dust, Lucifer, Adam, Lute, Vaggie, and otherwise. Open to all manner of things here. No preference of who to write against, but I've been in the mood to try these characters out or write them again.
♡ BotW / TotK (Legend of Zelda) — CCxCC, not open to OCs for this. Particularly looking to write Zelda, Sidon, or Ganon against a Link. I can also write Link, but that's just not my preference. Open to other options but these are my priority. Also open to do something poly related between the four, but only with some decent development and plotting.
♡ Dragon Age — OCxCC only. OCxOC could work but I'm very selective here. I'd like to write some of my OCs against some canons, but I'm more than willing to write a canon for you in return. Preferences of Alistair, Leliana, or Zevran from Origins, Fenris or Merrill from DA2, and/or Solas, Iron Bull, Blackwall, or Josephine from DAI. (Open to Cole, Cullen, other Hawke's, and a few others.)
As for fandomless, I have a plethora of OCs I'd love to throw at people. For this, I typically like…
♡ Fantasy, pirates, magic systems, solarpunk, apocalyptic (zombies or not) themes, dead dove themes, god/sacrifice, mythological creature/human, found family, medieval themes, historical fiction, war, aliens, modern fantasy, and more. (This is generalized, and can be discussed further.)
˚ ༘♡ ·˚ ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ Some things I'd really really love to include consist of — romance, angst, dead dove themes (we can discuss in private what that looks like), whump/caretaker, reunions, and so on. I'm a big fan of drama, and angst. I'll write multiple threads if I really vibe with someone, especially if we share a few fandoms. I generally shift and headcanon canons with their own identities, so please bear that in mind and be open to queer identities. I'd like to add some smut to this, from anywhere to a 50/50 to 80/20 plot to smut ratio, but that can be discussed. Do not bring me subby/bottoms, I will not only write top/doms. Kinks will be discussed privately. (Open to all manners of ships, mxm, mxf, fxf, anyxnb, poly, etc!)
&&&& I like to make friends with my roleplay partners. I do not ghost/block without good reason, and I refuse to engage with drama. If I have a problem, I voice it. Thanks for reading! If this sounds like it works for you, give a like and I'll reach out!
Status Update + My Return to ORV
Hello y'all! Despite my total radio silence here on Tumblr over... who knows how long, I'm doing just fine! I was on a writing hiatus for 6 months or so, and I also transitioned from grad school to industry (writing a master's thesis, defending it, graduating, moving across the country, a job search, so many interviews, finally getting a new job, moving across the country again, and settling into my new role).
In the past few months, I returned to the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint and Scum Villain's Self Saving System fandoms (old faves of mine, but I was only ever a reader until recently). For those of you following my Winter Light Verse (still planning the continuation of that one out, and I hope to finally break the series hiatus earlier next year!), those two fandoms had a massive influence on my Verse. Especially in the case of ORV - so it feels like I'm finally moving back, however slowly. I'm excited to continue being active in all of those fandoms (along with S-Classes, which I recently ran into and love!)
As for what I'm doing right now? I took on the Froday Flash Fiction Challenge for December, where we're given a new prompt each day and I have the 24 hours to write for the prompt. I'm writing the work, Ad Astra Per Aspera and have actually kept up with the 600 words per day so far, which is a shocker for me. This fic is compatible with another fic I recently started, My Shining Star, My Guiding Light. Both of these fics are for the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint fandom.
Info on both fics and the Verse are below, if you want to know more.
For those of you unfamiliar, the Winter Light Verse is my total rewrite and rebuild of the Twilight Saga, infused with Eastern themes and made very gay. The central ship of that series is Carlisle Cullen/Beau Swan, but there are several other pairs and characters that really bring the world out. Also, I had the realization the other day that I was basically writing a danmei novel with all the tropes, so that was a bit amusing. The main work is Apricity, and all of the other works in this series are either side stories or AU/spin-offs of some kind.
Ships: Carlisle Cullen/Beau Swan, Edward Cullen/Mike Newton, Alice Cullen/Jessamine Hale, Rosalie Hale/Eleanor Cullen Summary for the longfic rewrite, Apricity:
After Renee marries Phil and ropes Beau into family life, Beau moves to Forks, a town with a mystical aura. As Beau settles in, he gets closer to his father Charlie, his new friends, and the mysterious Cullens. After an accident lands Beau in the hospital where he meets the oldest Cullen sibling Carlisle, he begins to feel a strange draw to the man, notes an intricate mark, and knows for certain that something unnatural is afoot. A Twilight/Life and Death rewrite that starts on a similar premise, diverges very quickly, takes place in an entirely different world, leans more deeply into traditional/dark-erotic vampire themes, centers around an Eastern framework, and is very gay.
-
As for my current projects, both are for the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint fandom and are compatible with each other. Both fics are both Joongdok (Yoo Joonghyuk/Kim Dokja) and Plotja (Secretive Plotter/Kim Dokja), but at the same time, they are written as the same person (I swear it makes sense!). Ad Astra is my current daily project, and I am slowly working through the next chapter on Star/Light as the logistics of my still-chaotic IRL situation settle a bit.
A fair warning, both of these fics contain NSFW content, though with Ad Astra, you can skip it as it is a series of snapshots and the NSFW chapters are noted as such in the title.
Title: My Shining Star, My Guiding Light Ship: Secretive Plotter/Kim Dokja, Yoo Joonghyuk/Kim Dokja, ABFD & Secretive Plotter & Sun Wukong & Uriel Rating: Explicit Summary:
There exists a dark, primal thread woven through this worldline that beckons the Secretive Plotter in like a siren song, and at its core stands the lovely siren himself. Kim Dokja. A familiar, soothing sensation washes over the outer god as he takes in the young man, and in that moment, the Secretive Plotter makes his final decision. He will have Kim Dokja for his own.
Title: Ad Astra Per Aspera Ship: Secretive Plotter/Kim Dokja, Yoo Joonghyuk/Kim Dokja, Kim Dokja & The Kkomas (especially [999]) Rating: Explicit (NSFW noted in chapter titles & can be skipped) Summary:
After Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk finish out their lives on Earth, they return to the N'Gai Forest to live out a peaceful eternity together. And despite the timeless nature of the domain, there is still something a little special about the snow and holiday vibes that they enjoy. In short, a series of snapshots of Kim Dokja's and Yoo Joonghyuk's life together in the N'Gai Forest, during the festive winter season. [Note - NSFW snapshots are indicated in the chapter titles as such and can be skipped if you wish to do so]
Prologue: The Vision
The air in the Cullen house was thick with tension, a rare occurrence in the quiet years since Bella’s transformation. Nineteen years had passed since Bella Swan became Bella Cullen, a vampire with eyes like molten amber and a heart still fiercely tethered to Edward. Their life together had been a tapestry of love, woven with moments of serene beauty and the occasional shadow of their immortal existence. They had no child, no Renesmee, but their bond had grown deeper, unyielding, a love that defied the constraints of time.
Alice’s vision struck like a lightning bolt in the stillness of their Seattle home—a sprawling glass-and-steel structure overlooking the Puget Sound, a far cry from the misty forests of Forks. Her tiny frame stiffened, her golden eyes glazing over as images flooded her mind. Edward, ever attuned to his sister’s thoughts, saw it too: a young woman, blonde and fierce, her eyes a blazing crimson, tearing through the streets of Seattle. Blood stained her hands, her face a mask of anguish and hunger. Bodies littered alleyways, their lives snuffed out by her newborn strength. But beneath the chaos, Alice saw something else—a thread of fate, shimmering and unbreakable, tying this stranger to Edward and Bella.
“She’s one of us,” Alice whispered, her voice trembling with certainty. “A newborn. And she’s meant to be with you. Both of you.”
Bella’s gaze flickered to Edward, her shield instinctively tightening around her mind, though she knew he could sense her unease. “Meant to be with us?” she asked, her voice soft but edged with curiosity. “What does that mean, Alice?”
Edward’s jaw tightened, his mind racing through Alice’s vision. The woman’s face—sharp cheekbones, full lips, blonde hair tangled with blood—burned into his memory. She was beautiful, even in her ferocity, but there was something more, something that stirred a strange warmth in his chest. “She’s our mate,” he said quietly, the words heavy with realization. “Our third.”
Bella’s breath caught, though she no longer needed to breathe. The concept of a third mate was rare among vampires, a bond so profound it transcended the singular devotion she and Edward shared. Yet, as she looked into Edward’s eyes, she felt no jealousy, only a quiet certainty that this was their path.
“We have to find her,” Bella said, her voice resolute. “Before she destroys herself—or someone else does.”
Part I: The Hunt (January 2025)
Seattle’s rain-slicked streets glistened under the sodium glow of streetlights, a city alive with the pulse of humanity and the undercurrent of danger. Edward and Bella moved like shadows, their movements fluid and silent as they followed the trail of chaos left by the newborn. The news had been ablaze with reports of “animal attacks,” bodies drained of blood, their wounds too precise for any beast. The Volturi would take notice soon, and that was a complication the Cullens couldn’t afford.
Edward’s senses were razor-sharp, picking up the faint scent of blood and something else—something wild, like ozone after a storm. Bella stayed close, her shield extended to cloak them both from any prying minds, though no vampire could match Edward’s telepathy. They followed the trail to a derelict warehouse on the city’s edge, its windows shattered, the air thick with the coppery tang of death.
Inside, they found her.
She crouched in the corner, her blonde hair matted with blood, her crimson eyes wild with hunger and fear. Her face—striking, with high cheekbones and a defiant set to her jaw—matched Alice’s vision perfectly. She wore tattered jeans and a ripped jacket, her hands trembling as she clutched a broken pipe, ready to defend herself. She was a newborn, no more than a month old, her strength and beauty amplified by her transformation, but her control was nonexistent.
“Who are you?” she snarled, her voice low and guttural, a predator’s warning.
Edward stepped forward, his hands raised in a gesture of peace. “We’re not here to hurt you,” he said, his voice smooth and calming, though he knew it would take more than words to soothe her. “I’m Edward Cullen, and this is my wife, Bella. We’re like you.”
Her eyes darted to Bella, narrowing with suspicion. “You’re not like me,” she spat. “You’re… different. Your eyes—they’re not red.”
“We don’t feed on humans,” Bella said gently, stepping closer. The newborn flinched, but Bella’s calm demeanor seemed to hold her at bay. “We can help you. You don’t have to live like this.”
The newborn laughed, a bitter, broken sound. “Help me? I’m a monster. I can’t stop—” Her voice cracked, and for a moment, her ferocity gave way to something raw, something human. “I don’t even know my name.”
Edward’s heart twisted, a pang of empathy he hadn’t expected. He saw her thoughts—fragmented, chaotic, a whirlwind of hunger and guilt. She remembered little of her human life, only flashes: a car accident, a shadowy figure, the burning agony of venom. She’d woken alone, driven by an insatiable thirst, and had been killing ever since.
“What’s your name?” Bella asked, her voice soft but firm, anchoring the newborn to the moment.
The woman hesitated, her gaze flickering between them. “I… I think it’s Claire,” she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. “Claire… something.”
“Claire,” Edward repeated, letting the name settle between them. “We’re going to take care of you, Claire. You’re not alone anymore.”
Part II: The Learning (February 2025)
The first weeks were a trial by fire. Claire was a force of nature, her newborn strength making her unpredictable and dangerous. Edward and Bella brought her to their Seattle home, a sanctuary of glass and light that felt jarringly serene against Claire’s volatile energy. The Cullens—Carlisle, Esme, Alice, Jasper, Emmett, and Rosalie—welcomed her cautiously, their family dynamic shifting to accommodate this new presence.
Teaching Claire to hunt was their first priority. Her thirst was a living thing, a beast that clawed at her from within, driving her to near madness. Edward and Bella took her to the Olympic National Forest, far from human temptation, where deer and elk roamed in abundance. The first hunt was chaotic—Claire tore through the forest like a hurricane, her movements too fast, too reckless. She brought down a buck with a ferocity that left Bella wincing, her teeth sinking into its throat with a desperation that spoke of her newborn hunger.
“You need to pace yourself,” Edward instructed, his voice calm but firm. “Feel the rhythm of the hunt. Let your senses guide you, not your thirst.”
Claire glared at him, blood dripping from her chin, but she nodded, her crimson eyes flickering with something like trust. Bella watched, her heart swelling with a strange mix of protectiveness and admiration. Claire was beautiful, even in her savagery, her blonde hair catching the moonlight as she moved.
Over the weeks, they taught her everything: how to control her strength, how to move silently among humans, how to resist the call of their blood. Bella was patient, her own newborn years still fresh in her memory, while Edward used his telepathy to anticipate Claire’s impulses, guiding her through moments of weakness. Jasper helped with her emotions, soothing the jagged edges of her hunger, while Alice offered glimpses of a future where Claire was one of them—calm, controlled, part of their family.
Claire’s human memories remained fragmented, but she began to open up. She’d been a college student, she thought, studying art or music—something creative. She remembered a laugh, a warm hand, a life that felt distant now. Edward and Bella listened, their bond with her deepening with each shared moment. They noticed the way Claire’s eyes lingered on them, the way her laughter softened when Bella touched her arm, the way her thoughts—chaotic but vivid—began to include them in ways that felt intimate, inevitable.
Part III: The Spark (March 2025)
By spring, Claire’s eyes had begun to shift, the crimson fading to a softer amber as she adapted to the Cullens’ vegetarian diet. She was still a newborn, her strength and thirst a constant challenge, but she was learning, her control growing with each passing day. The Seattle house had become her home, her room filled with sketches and paintings—her attempt to reclaim the fragments of her human creativity.
Edward and Bella noticed the change in their own hearts first. It began with small moments: Claire’s hand brushing Bella’s as they pored over a map, planning a hunt; Edward catching Claire’s thoughts, a vivid image of him and Bella laughing together, her longing palpable. They spoke of it late one night, alone in their bedroom, the city lights glittering beyond the glass.
“She feels it too,” Edward said, his voice low, his eyes searching Bella’s. “I hear it in her thoughts. She’s drawn to us, just as we’re drawn to her.”
Bella nodded, her fingers tracing the line of Edward’s jaw. “I feel it,” she admitted. “It’s not like what I felt for you—it’s different, but it’s just as strong. Like she’s… part of us.”
Edward’s lips curved into a rare smile, one reserved for Bella alone. “Alice was right. She’s our mate.”
The realization was both exhilarating and terrifying. Their love had always been enough, a perfect, singular bond. But Claire’s presence had awakened something new, a connection that felt like an extension of their love rather than a threat to it. They decided to let it unfold naturally, to give Claire time to understand what they already knew.
Claire, for her part, was grappling with her own feelings. She’d never known love like this—fierce, all-consuming, yet gentle in its certainty. She watched Edward and Bella with a mix of awe and longing, their effortless intimacy stirring something deep within her. She caught herself staring at Bella’s graceful movements, at Edward’s quiet intensity, and her heart—though it no longer beat—felt full in a way she couldn’t explain.
One evening, as they sat on the rooftop terrace, the city sprawling below, Claire spoke. “I don’t know what this is,” she said, her voice soft, her amber eyes flickering between them. “This… pull I feel toward you both. It’s not just gratitude. It’s more.”
Bella reached for her hand, her touch cool but grounding. “We feel it too,” she said simply. “You’re part of us, Claire. You always were.”
Edward’s gaze was steady, his voice warm. “We’re bound by more than chance. You’re our mate, Claire. If you’ll have us.”
Claire’s breath hitched, a human habit she hadn’t shed. “Both of you?” she asked, her voice trembling with hope.
“Both of us,” Bella confirmed, her smile radiant.
Part IV: The Bond (April 2025)
The weeks that followed were a dance of discovery. Edward, Bella, and Claire navigated their new dynamic with care, their love unfolding like a flower in bloom. They hunted together, their movements synchronized, a trio bound by instinct and affection. Claire’s newborn strength made her a formidable partner, but it was her vulnerability—the way she leaned into Bella’s embrace, the way she sought Edward’s guidance—that deepened their connection.
Their first kiss was a moment of quiet magic. They were in the forest, the moonlight filtering through the trees, the air heavy with the scent of pine and earth. Claire had just taken down an elk, her control perfect for the first time, and she turned to them with a triumphant smile. Bella laughed, her joy infectious, and pulled Claire into a hug. The moment stretched, their faces close, and then Claire leaned in, her lips brushing Bella’s in a tentative, electric kiss.
Edward watched, his heart swelling with love, not jealousy. When Claire turned to him, her eyes questioning, he closed the distance, his kiss gentle but sure. It was a promise, a vow that they were three parts of a whole.
Their love was not without challenges. Claire’s newborn impulses still flared, and there were moments when her thirst threatened to overwhelm her. Edward and Bella were her anchors, their presence calming the storm within her. They taught her to channel her energy into other pursuits—painting, music, even sparring with Emmett, who delighted in her strength. The Cullens embraced her fully, their family expanding to include this fierce, radiant woman who had become their own.
The Volturi’s shadow loomed, but Alice’s visions assured them that Claire’s integration into their coven would keep her safe. The killings in Seattle had stopped, the trail gone cold, and the Cullens’ discretion ensured no further attention. Claire was theirs, and they were hers, a bond forged in blood and love.
Part V: Eternity (June 2025)
By summer, Claire was no longer a newborn in the truest sense. Her eyes were a rich gold, her control nearly flawless, her place in Edward and Bella’s hearts unassailable. They stood together on the terrace, the city lights a constellation below, their hands entwined—Edward on one side, Bella on the other, Claire in the center.
“I never thought I’d find this,” Claire said, her voice soft but steady. “A home. A family. Love.”
Edward’s smile was radiant, his thoughts open to her now, a gift he rarely shared. “You were always meant to find us,” he said. “We were incomplete without you.”
Bella squeezed Claire’s hand, her love a quiet, unshakable force. “We have forever,” she said. “And we’ll spend it together.”
As the stars burned above, their bond was a light of its own, eternal and unbreakable. They were three souls, bound by fate, their love a melody that would echo through the ages.
Epilogue: Forever
Years would pass, decades blending into centuries, but the love between Edward, Bella, and Claire would never fade. They traveled the world, their lives a tapestry of adventure and intimacy, their bond a beacon in the endless night of immortality. The Cullens remained their family, their home a constant wherever they went. And through it all, Claire’s laughter, Bella’s strength, and Edward’s devotion wove a story that would never end.
