God, Ed is just begging for someone to end it. He's so far gone. Provoking and trying to act out enough that someone (or something) will do what he's unable to do himself. But desperately wanting someone to prove to him that there's an alternative - that self destructive urge to simultaneously prove your fears and the deeper craving to have them disproved. He's a ruin of a man.

Stede looking out for Lucius and Black Pete like this feels reminiscent of earlier S1 Stede, helping the crew heal, it's really nice. I miss that.

I have so much I could say about how Izzy and Blackbeard's relationship has deteriorated hhhhh,,,, Izzy is a problem child but I'm so glad the story is crashing towards his character actually growing and changing. In season 1 he at least got the crumbs Ed would throw him like "I need you here", now he's only getting abuse and maybe he's throwing himself at it because he recognises he had a part to play in reaching this point and believes he deserves it.

Fang's delivery on "how you doing Izzy" will keep me warm and fed all winter. Masterclass in approaching someone, truly tender and genuine but not too pressuring. God.

That second "unhand me" hhh the panic of realising you're going to start crying if the situation continues

okay so this isn't exactly media in the sense that other people can view/consume it, but! my friends and i have this zombie rp thing going and im kinda sorta obsessed with it and my characters HAHA

so basically, the virus is an evolved form of rabies that spread via animal and now via bite. it hit in 2010 and it's been around for ten years, there's five different stages of the disease/zombies but they're called Starving. My sister and i built up the lore and its been so fun esp since she's been playing a lot of zombie video games (TLOU I & II, Days Gone, etc)

but basically, my two characters, Griffin and Celeste, are these two kid-made-adults in this world. Griffin was eighteen when the virus hit, Celeste was five. Griffin ends up having to help his mom take out his brother and dad when they get bit and then later having to do the same to his mom when she gets bit also. It's by complete chance that Griffin runs into the men that corner Celeste and ends up saving her.

They're very Joel and Ellie coded but also not LMAO. They first get help from a survivalist/dooms day planner who takes them in, gives them all the tough love in the world, and then kicks them out with the skills and supplies they'd need to survive. Then, they end up joining a merc group (and in this world there are human camps but there isn't an overlying government or anything) for a few years and travels with these people until one of them tries to hurt Celeste and Griffin kills him.

There's, uh, a lot of violence in their backstory but they're tough cookies LMAO. Celeste is a lil pyro and is very adapt at building bombs of all kinds. Griffin is one hell of a marksman but hates guns and will use a bow and arrow whenever he can. They're literally so fun together, they've got this sibling/parent & child/best friend/partner in crime/rival bond and i love playing around with their dynamic.

My other friends have characters too, and before the actual rp starts, Griffin and Celeste end up being saved by two of the others; Phoebe and Alex, who are siblings and have been up on an isolated farm ever since the disease started to spread.

Griffin and Phoebe have SUCH A GOOD ROMANCE LMAO they're SO FUCKING FUN bc Pheobe is so so smart but also so Stupid bc she can't help but be curious about everything she hasn't seen and Griffin is grumpy and mean but HES AN ASSHOLE WITH A HEART OF GOLD which means he's. SIMP and so they argue and bicker and all that

Celeste is like this halfway between adult and child, but she's such a prankster and shit stirer and definitely corrupts Alex in the best ways bc he's this shy little thirteen year old and Celeste is always ready to rock someone's shit.

but yeah its just really fun and my friend and i have so many aus for Greebs LMAO they're also so Sterek coded (teenwolf) that its insane LMAO so immediately i started a teenwolf au and had the pleasure of giving the run down of the plot

also! summer beverage would have to be... milkshakes. i love milkshakes LMAO idk if those are really considered summer drinks but they're delicious. also, lemonade bc who doesn't like lemonade? i really love to bake and cook and stuff, so tiktok showed me this limonade thing a few weeks ago and im dying to try and make it LOL

ok character ranking for Y:the last man worst to best

Fucking roxanne: Stupid svu homicide detective wanna be cult leading psycho stalking gaslight gatekeep girlboss ass bitch got what she deserved. Finally.

Idk that bitch that was supposed to be president but fell out of a plane: A lot of what made her unlikeable was her politics she was the walking conspiracy redneck dont let them steal our jobs ass bitch however what really makes her unlikeable is her hubris. even during an organized coup where they are actively asking and threatening to kill the president she wouldn't just sit there and shut up. like she had to follow around and beg for the very soldiers that were trying to dismantle the government to take her seriously and then she died like damn

Presidents wife: I dont even remember her name shes just not very relevant to me. Her story was heartbreaking and sad to watch though so i cant say im completely apathetic to her

presidents daughter: her storyline is one of the more interesting ones to watch true but shes not ver likeable obviously. Shes too man obsessed to really be of any use to anyone but she lost her entire family over the span of the show so i cant really blame her for losing her shit

Byorik’s Girlfriend: That stupid bitch was an anarchist or something idk. then look where that got her. i cant really believe she loved byorick when the first thing she said when she rejected his proposal was how she wanted to see other people

Hero: One hand i feel bad for her one hand I dont. Like she was an asshole I cant lie and say she wasn’t. She was forking a married guy she was like an addict she didnt have a lot going for her and her mom was a total buzzkill most of her life. The way she treated sam was pretty shitty though. I want to be more sympathetic to her falling into the cult of the amazons but I can’t because she had so many chances to not be a fuck up and she was still out there, fucking up.

sam: I dont wanna say sam so soon but I’m gonna say sam. he was defenseless and passive the entire season and while he’s supposed to be one of the more sympathetic characters,, and he had to deal with hero most of the time so i do feel bad for him,, he’s also very self pitying. part of this take is my own biases sure I’ll admit when the first thing sam says after the mandemic™(made it myself haha) was how he didnt have enough testosterone I was like,,, people are dying kim. how the show tackled the isolation and treatment of trans men however was compelling. as for sam the character he himself he was too codependent for most of the season for me to root for him. Following hero around begging hero to stay feeling bad for himself most of the time as if he was the only one with problems. that and he did my girl nora dirty ngl. Like i totally get why he wouldn't trust nora or wanna go off with her to escape the amazonian cult but also, come on man.

Jennifer Brown: she was struggling throughout the entire season I can’t help but feel bad for her. Did she lie? Yes. Did she lie again? yes. Did she lie more? yes. she lied her ass off with her back against the wall because she was trying to keep the country from collapsing.

Nora: the bitch was angry omg I totally support and respect the deterioration of her sanity tbh. I feel like I’m biased towards her because weren’t a lot of us pushovers in our lives. Whether its quiet, or being victimized, or simply doing all of the work to clean up other peoples messes. Then when push comes to shove when the world literally fucking ends even though you did everything right, gt the job the degree the money the family it all goes to shit again, and you’re left to start over,,, again. She wasn’t just angry she was strategic. she always had the brain she just had to use it. when she burned down that shopping center it was one of my favorite scenes.

Agent 355: Did she have to kill those pilots tho. like really? okokok that aside she is rlly carrying the show with dr.mann and byorick. Her whole blackwidow redroom traumas rlly need to be addressed. and her story arc of vehemently denying help at the risk of her health was soooo hard to watch. Like u dum dum byorick just wanted you to get some sleep?! and now look at u!! u crashed into a tree. the way she and byorick were ON EACHOTHERS NECKS In the first half of the season though. ol girl was exhausted. however iliked her ever since she told byorick “your father named you after a dead clown”

Byorick: [lmao my fingers r cramping lemme finish this later... ] ok im back while byorick is flawed like every damn character hes not as inherently shitty. i hate to be all uwu soft white boi with long curly hair and sad eyes can do no wrong and all but really the worst thing about him is his terrible jokes and tendency to run off. other than that hes completely down for helping people and taking action to make sure he’s not (any more of ) a burden to the people around him *cough* sam *cough again*. see sam can learn a few things from byorick. im glad he also takes initiative to learn to protect his own damn self at the end.

Dr.Mann: honestly a baddie, she rlly doesnt need an explanation but I will try. from jump when shes introduced shes quirky shes colorful shes competent shes intellectual and for all intents and purposes,,, she IS the moment. shes thinking of the endgame through and through. the whole entire ecosystems genetic diversity animals men women intersex trans her mind is so powerful i cant not stan? she too has flaws dont get me wrong shes individualistic and sarcastic and somewhat snobby in a “i dont know how you quantify genius” kind of way but, we must stan anyways like come on now

She shoots a look at Thundrail"! Bilbo repiled " y…. Yes I'm sorry about that"!

Bard faced Bilbo and asked him, " how is this yours to give"? He did answer " I'm not doing this for you, I know dwarves can be stubborn, pig headed and with worst manners you possibly Imgaine, but they also brave, loyal and they will fight to the death"! She steps forward " please reconsider both you i believe Throin will give you what you wish for in return"! Gandalf looked at me. " if you don't then Throin will die"! Tbundrail said " Let him"! Said the elf king, Estella swallows hard " no I will not if you refuse to help him then I will"! Responded she, turning to leave. " She is feisty"! Said Thundrail, bilbo nodded " Yes she is she'd do anything for him"!

Gandalf shouts after me " Miss Baggins Come back …. You will be killed"! She never heard the The wizard, " stupid fool"! Thought she. Marching off toward RavenHill where Throin had taken his two nephews and Dwlain. She begun to climb to the hill she felt her legs beginning ache. " Come on I need to Throin he needs my help"! Thought she. As she was climbing she got to the platform where she could hear Throin and the others. Hearing something behind her, she swung her sword and plunged into the Orcs chest searching the hill for the three dwarves she decided to shout " Thorin"! She shouts from below the platform. Throin turns to hear Estella she turned around to face an Orc again " not this time youre not my laddie"! She said though the teeth as she plunged her sword into the Orc. Turning back round to see Kili. " Estella what are you …. Doing here it's dangerous you shouldn't be here"! He warns. She warns him " no Kili I will not I will fight beside you're Uncle The King. She shouts again " Throin"? He quickly spun around to Goblin Merchanries coming toward them.

Estell shot the goblins from behind Throin standing there aghast with shock. " Estella! Whatever in Durins name are you doing…. Go back down the mountain and wait for me within Erebour"! She shook head " no Throin I will not"! Just as Throin was about to go toward Estella ….. Azog came out from no where. Kili was in one of the watchtowers with Fili.

Azog recognised the young Hobbit Woman, smirking at her he drew his mace, Estells ducked and quickly rolled out of the way Throin watching on shocked. Just the Bilbo appeared …..

" Throin? You need to leave the hills surrounded"! Bilbo said to his friend worryingly just as Bilbo turned to leave he saw estella trying to defend her own. " you killed my father"! She said though gritted death, " now you will pay for what you did"! But Azog was far to strong for the little Hobbit woman, he grinned as he had his mace near looking to you're right she saw Throin marching toward them occasionally slipping on the ice. Azog noticed Throin marching blindly toward him Throin

Says " don't you even ….. dare lay a finger on her"! Throin's voice shouted making the little Hobbit woman job, still trying Azogs rusty sword from going though her. Undoubtedly she was too weak to fight him off. Throin looking on in horror hes eyes widened with fear.

(Estella Screams)

Throin watching estella's face as it drains of her rosey colour, she mouths " I love you Throin"! Throin charges toward Azog lurching himself in the air, raising his sword above his head and shouts …..

" Du becker"! As she charges again at Azog, Estella lying there trying to reach for her weapon to knock Azog out, suddenly Bilbo flies in and stabs the Orc. Leaving a frightened Throin to kneel beside his love holding her head. " my love what's he done ….. let me see"! Throin cries holding her head, Throin looking at the wound Estella coughing up blood, " I'm dying Throin! Farewell Master Oakenshield"! Throin slowly shook his head " no ghisveishel you're not dying on me ….don't you dare I love you armalime I love you"! Throin begs as Estella's words trail off, she begs him " Go leave …. Take your men Throin tell B …. Bilbo I loved him"! Is popularity a social disease? if it matters that much to you, then yes, it’s a social disease. Would you want to be a hippie? not really. i respect the lifestyle and culture, i’m just not into it. In college, were you ever given exams with extremely broad and deep questions such as, ‘Why?’ or 'What is truth?’ it wasn’t a ‘what is the truth?’ type situation, it was more about what our opinion on the topic was. Have you knowingly destroyed an endangered plant or animal? nope. Did your parents bronze your first pair of baby shoes? i don’t think so... i’d know if it still existed if they did.

Do you check for a train when crossing tracks in your car even though the arms aren’t down? there aren’t many train crossings in my city tbh. i’ve never actually crossed one after all these years of driving. Is there gossip going around about you right now? i don’t think so. i live a pretty drama free life these days. How many comic strips do you read daily: none. If you were hiding from a burglar, would you hide in the closet or under the bed? under the bed i think. What do you most commonly use milk for: drinking or cooking? cooking. Who should provide the condoms in a relationship: the man or the woman? both should be responsible but the man should definitely always have some. imagine being the woman and always having to provide that? Are you ever afraid that people hate you and they’re just acting like they don’t? haha it’s definitely happened before. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a sex change operation? yes. i’m assuming it’d be a mentally and physically draining experience. as long as they’re happy though. Should the ASPCA and RSPCA ban the practice of kidney transplants in cats, since cats can’t give consent for the surgery? i have no knowledge on this. Would you ever drink from a bowl or cup made out of human bones? probably not. just a creepy feeling. Does your car normally smell good? i guess so. i’m obsessed with air fresheners. Do you think 9/11 will be the worst thing you will see in your life? i mean it’s up there as one of the most memorable news stories of my childhood. but since i wasn’t there in person, i’m sure there could be worse things i experience personally throughout my life. Do you tend to do more research for school or papers at the library or on the internet? internet. Do you have an outfit you wear that makes you feel like a star? haha no. i’m yet to find the perfect outfit. You are working at McDonald’s frying meat. I’m sure he would objectively look nice though if he wasn’t, you know, literally dying? like he’d be very handsome with such luxury beauty products as Ever Eating Or Sleeping In His Life)hogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffhe’s a hard worker and wants to help people, so definitely some hufflepuff tendencies in there, and there’s a LOT of slytherin in him: using the hope video, agreeing to junko’s sketchy ass offer so he can succeed in his ambition. but ultimately, the way he decides to help people is with his brain and his creativity. he doesn’t love people so much as an abstract idea of wanting to help people, and the most important thing to him isn’t them, but his anime. that’s ravenclaw.best quality: from a “I like this character trait when I see it in a character in a show I’m watching” perspective, he has SO MANY of the same mental issues as I do and I find it SO CATHARTIC TO SEE PORTRAYED and useful for coping like. obsession with saving others to the detriment of his own wellbeing, check. doing weird, manipulative things to try to save others even if it’s not really moral, check. intense guilt for something that wasn’t his fault, check. being really fucked up and traumatized after someone told him he should feel guilty for this thing, check. being stressed out and exhausted due to the amount of work he puts on himself, check. we are very similar. I appreciate it a lot. I love characters that are like me, because I’m ultimately obsessed with myself (as is ryota a lil bit). I also love that he’s shy and anxious and awkward but a lil bit of a dick anyway. like you think he doesn’t associate with people because of anxiety, but he honestly just doesn’t like people. it makes me smile. I really love ryota mitarai????worst quality: I have a hard time understanding how he could feel safe with Junko after she destroyed his DVDs. like, I get why he would be like “being sealed away in this sketchy ass place away from all people or sunlight? I also enjoy scenarios where people write imposter/ryota/ibuki stuff. I know some people include mikan in that, but I have a little trouble believing ryota would be totally okay with mikan after what she did to him? like even though she’s not brainwashed anymore, I’d imagine being around her would be kind of triggering for him, like it would take a lot of time for him to feel safe around her again… I also think I saw a fic once that was Ryota/Seiko where they were sharing stories of being emotionally abused and trying to cope together and that was nice.brotp them with: imposter and ibuki in scenarios where it isn’t romantic.needs to stay away from: I’m very uncomfortable when people ship him with Junko. I’ve also seen some Ryota/Naegi, and I don’t think that would be very healthy tbh… Ryota idolizes him so much that I don’t think it could be anything but a really unbalanced relationship, and as kind as he is, I’m not sure Naegi is ready to care for someone with mental issues as intense as Ryota’s.misc. thoughts: im love him? his character arc is definitely my favorite thing about DR3. It doesn’t matter that he has no personal ties to these people when he’s doing it; there is no doubt in his mind that saving them is the right thing to do. He has no trouble jumping rashly into a situation if he’s sure it’s the right thing, either; he pushes Nagito out of the way without a second thought. He’s such a heroic person,,,best quality: I know this stupid and shallow but I literally cannot get over the fact that he is canonically a feedee… I will never be over it. The fact that when Akane suggests there might be something wrong with his weight he is HORRIFIED by the prospect of weight loss and announces, “Do you know how much money I spent sculpting my physique?” like he canonically got this fat on purpose, he loves food with all of his soul, he believes “fats and sugars are the only thing you can believe in”… and then he’s still an incredibly interesting, complex character with a storyline that has nothing to do with that??? I can’t believe it???? I just want him to be around people who give him love and support,,, the only thing I do note is that back in the day there was some discourse about the translation of some line Ibuki has in SDR2, about whether she’s saying he would make a good boyfriend or that he would make a good boyfriend despite his weight? I don’t see Ibuki as the kind of person who would prefer him slim, but he needs to stay away from anyone who thinks that way, period.misc. thoughts: the greatest best most beautiful character in the world,, also, me. but like… I love that he too has this obsession with saving people that manifests really differently, but is ultimately very similar to Ryota’s? I love that they have parallel arcs that intersect? I love that they support each other? I love that ultimately HE’S THE ONE WHO SAVES THE DAY in DR3? I love the twist of him being an imposter? I love the way he acts as Togami? I love the way he acts as himself? I love the way he’s so food positive always, I love the fact that he thinks everyone else is too thin and never struggles with his own weight, I just… wish he’d gotten more screentime in DR2 because the fact that they killed him immediately 1. made very sad 2. is frustrating bc of wasted potential 3. is kind of fatphobic bc they… killed their two fat characters in one fell swoop right away and then went on to write NO fat characters in dr3 or ndrv3 but… what can u do. im still love him
