after months at sea, oona was trying to find her land legs again. she loved traveling the world and if she could do it without coming on land ever again, she would but it was not possible. they needed supplies so here they were, her and her crew, "excuse me," she said to someone as she walked into the tavern, "what is the... how you say? currency here? how do i pay? do they accept gold pieces?" she asked.

no matter how many months she spent at see, oona never forgot how to ride. she had spent much of her life until she became a pirate riding a horse so it was like second nature. as she rode through the woods, she was surprised to come across another rider, "i see we had same thoughts today. is a nice say for a ride, no?"

"oh," oona sat up and looked around. she had bumped her head on a sign she hadn't seen hanging low and fallen over. she reached up and felt her head, warm liquid covered her fingertips, "i am bleeding," she stated as if she were talking about the weather and then started to try and stand up.

"i suppose it depends on how i love the game," oona replied, "and what time i have."

"It can be a long game." Horatio had lost count of the amount of times a game of chess had carried on into the night in the officer's mess. "Well, would you start a fresh game as soon as you finish one?"

"did no one ever teach to not take things that do not belong to you?" oona asked, snatching the item away and placing it back on the shelf. since moving to the city, she had oepned an antique store to sell what she stole, a small back alley shop that was enough out of the way to stop others from knowing she had stolen things, "if you touch, you buy. now, what is it you seek?"

"overthrow monarchy?" oona repeated, "i must tell, i was once queen. i am now a pirate though," she paused, "why exactly do you want to do this?"

"a feeling. a good feeling i hope," oona replied, "i believe that impressive is found in unusual places and secluded is nice."

"i just have a feeling." juliette smiled back, sitting up a little straighter on her horse before nodding as she lead them a little further down the path. "oh, well now i fear it might not be as impressive as you're thinking. it's just a bit more secluded than the rest of the town."

"necklace you say?" oona leaned forward. she was a woman who loved treasure but in this particular situation, she was pretending. she had heard all about this piece of jewellery, or more specifically the curse that way placed on it, and she had no interest in taking it. but she was bored and needed some entertainment so she played along, "tell me more about please."

"okay," oona said, "i only try. i am not good like fortune tellers i met on seas. they taught me tricks of the trade, only some. what things would you like to know?"

"All right then, try and read my fortune." He flicks his long pink hair away from his face before holding out his hands. Kaoru doesn't believe in reading fate by palms. Things are what you make it, no supernatural or otherworldly being controls it. But he is curious on what the other will like and make up.

oona looked surprised, "yes," she paused, "how you know i am pirate?" she asked curiously. she did have her cutlass but had taken her hat off while inside, it was sitting beside her out of sight.

"oh! you're a pirate. i never met a pirate before- but I also heard pirates aren't too nice. -maybe that's just what the papers say." yor told.

"i have not tried these garlic knots you speak of," oona replied, "so let us go to this place you know and try them," she smiled.

"can never go wrong with pizza," he agreed as they finally settled on their chosen food. "i know a place that has great pizza and the best garlic knots in the city."

"not spicy. hmm..." oona thought for a moment ad then smiled, "how about pizza? you choose spicy or not for that."

"oh yeah, I can eat any kind of food as long as it's not spicy." wyatt was not a picky eater but he did have a sensitive stomach when it came to spicy food. "what do you like?"

"no, i have place now," oona said, "a city has more places than old town so it... appeared after everything came back. thank you though."

"You don't need a inn anymore, do you?" Jamie said with a small chuckle. "Could you find a place to sleep? I know hotels are usually expensive but you can have a nap at least for a night".

"yes indeed," oona said, nodding, "i have been many weeks at see and now i am getting used to land again."

Xingchen bows his head. "You are quite welcome." He fixes the cloth wrapped around his eyes. "I take it you have just docked?" He asks
