I think my streetkid, Eve, when seeing how Kerry is as a father, when they're in a serious enough relationship, would encourage Kerry to reconcile with his kids, to put in effort, to see them, etc. Hell, V would even want to meet them, would want to have a relationship with Kerry's kids. That's because for the most part, he had a very active dad in his life and would want Kerry's kids to have the same. He can be understanding to a point why Kerry was distant especially considering the state he was in when V had first met him. Kerry wasn't doing well, and depression can drive a wedge between your relationships. But once Kerry's better, or claims to be, Eve will tell him he gets it but it can't always be like this, that the kids deserve better. That they deserve a father who wants to be in their life and shows that through his actions without always buying them off. And it's a sweet thought I think, how V makes Kerry's life better, makes Kerry better for it, that he'd encourage Kerry to be a better father too.

But my nomad V? Venin? Oh man. If he saw the kind of dad Kerry was he would get it. He wouldn't put any pressure there and wouldn't think it was his place anyway, would even understand it. He had a really, really, shit dad. Like. Actually Evil (grew up in a raffen scav camp). So he'd understand Kerry wanting to keep his children at a distance ESPECIALLY if Kerry doesn't think he's a good father, thinks that it's better this way than him being a bad influence on them. Life comes with sacrifice, and to make sure his kids lives are better than the one he can provide for them as their father, this is Kerry's, keeping his distance and supporting them from afar. And Venin would understand. He'd understand that having no dad is sometimes better than having a shit dad who's only there for the sake of being there.
