i am alive, and sort of okay but also sort of not u.u Been dealing with a looot of jaw pain from teeth problems, and fatigue because I'm switching from Concerta to Wellbutrin so I haven't been taking my meds 🥲

I'll be starting the Wellbutrin tomorrow after my trip to the dentist, I'm nervous but hoping it works to treat my ADHD better. Concerta helped in some ways but it was really unpredictable and inconsistent, and required waaaayyy too many factors to ensure it would do its job, factors that I could just, y'know, implement and rely on without the meds making me feel way too hyper and unfocused (which is really all they were doing, like yeah they were helpful to get my energy up but once my energy was up it was REALLY hard to use it efficiently and wound up just being overstimulating and exhausting x.x)

Concerta did at least help me get some of my shit on track, but it had diminishing returns for me and frustrating side effects sooo my doc and I are hoping that Wellbutrin (a non-stimulant SSRN) will help balance me out better. Might take Concerta again alongside it in the future (but at a lower dose obv) if I need that extra energy boost.

Biggest thing rn though is def my jaw. I've been anywhere from a 4 to an 8 on the pain scale for the last month now, every single day. It's made it very difficult to get work done, esp when I have a tendency to clench my jaw when I'm drawing. No clue if it's bruxism or TMJ or another side effect of the Concerta or just my wisdom teeth stirring up trouble, but I'll be finding out tomorrow. At the very least, the wisdom teeth def need to go, they're in pretty bad shape and I've been putting off extracting them for waaay too long. My husband's gonna be at work so my work husband is coming with me instead lmao

but yeah! that's my lil' life update. shit's hard rn but i'm hoping (begging) it'll ease up soon. at the very least, i am alive and that's what matters 🥲 ty for checking in <3 (and for being patient while i crawl through the shit pipe lmaoo)

yn wasn't thinking about abby's tweet- no, about abby. at all. there was no reason to. it (she) wasn't bouncing around yn's head like a curse. it (she) wasn't making yn question everything from their grocery store interaction to her entire life.

nope. yn was fine.

which is why, when yn walked into ellie's apartment for the (last minute) video shoot, she was definitely not looking at abby out of the corner of her eye. she was aware abby would be there, dina had texted her, saying they would "find who abby was tweeting about."

and yn was definitely not noticing how she looked annoyingly good in a hoodie and sweats, leaning back on ellie's couch like she had nothing to worry about. yn didn't care. abby was just messing with her, because apparently abby thinks she's sooo funny. but abby could think whatever she wanted, she wasn't yn's problem.

the game was.

after setting up the lights and camera, they decided on dina reading the questions. ellie, yn, and abby were competing.

the video had started out fine. yn was focused, ellie was yelling out her intro, and abby was grinning like an asshole. yn told herself to ignore her soft lips. not like yn knew how they felt, they just looked soft.

dina clapped her hands together. "okay! first question..."

clearing her throat before speaking, "how many continents are there?"

as usual ellie yelled out her answer, "six!"

dina pursed her lips, suddenly not looking as excited, abby was trying not to cackle, and yn could only ask "are you serious?"

abby sounded like she was suffocating, when yn turned to look at her she was met with abby covering her mouth with her hand, looking stupidly pretty.

yn needed abby removed from the premises.

dina sighed, "ellie, there are seven..."

ellie just scoffed. "no? no one lives in the arctic. it doesn't count."

"that's not how it works you stupid bitch."

abby and yn kept getting paired against each other.

it was ruining yn's life.

"spell 'fuchsia'."

yn goes first, "f-u... um, s-h? shit."

dina grinned. "wrong!"

abby pouted, "you said that with so much confidence too." making yn glare at her. "i don't need your commentary."

abby just shrugged, smug as fuck (as usual). "i'm just saying, it was really impressive for, like... the first two letters."

ellie laughed a little too hard for someone who doesn't count the arctic as a continent, yn threw a pillow at abby's head.

and then the worst question happened.

"if a car is going 60mph, how far will it go in one hour?"

silence.

abby shifted, scratching her arm. "wait. repeat that." dina stared at her "are you joking?"

abby looked genuinely confused. "no, i just-"

yn grinned immediately, trying to make abby feel how she made yn feel. key word being try. "oh, this is amazing."

abby squinted at yn, "don't make this a thing."

"it's already a thing."

dina repeated the question; abby froze, trying to make it make sense in her head. ellie was still grinning and laughing. but this time yn was laughing with her.

dina sighed loudly, "abby, what the fuck does mph mean?"

abby looked almost embarrassed, it was funny. "um, miles per hour?" making dina clap her hands.

"so if a car is going 60 miles per hour... stay with me, how far will it go in an hour?"

abby's eyes widened, letting out a long 'oh',

"sixty miles..."

dina sighed in relief, turning to the camera "guys... i can't keep hanging out with them, they make me dumber each day." yn yelled in protest, saying how dina 'gave her a hard word to spell' and how 'she's smarter than all of them combined'.

ellie patted abby's shoulder, giving her a pitying look, "you tried..."

abby turned to yn instead, "you enjoyed that a little too much."

she did.

after not being able to solve the easiest question in the world, and losing a bit too much for her liking, abby leaned into yn on the couch and grumbled dramatically.

"i don't like this game. dina's definitely doing some shit to make us lose."

yn froze.

because, okay... abby being close was not a big deal.

it was fine, it was normal.

but like, she's really close.

like, feeling her warmth through her arm pressing against yn's close.

and abby didn't move away. and her voice was lower than usual, yn's brain stopped, she was sure she was going to piss herself. at least that what she thought, because the possibility of her climaxing just from a voice, plus that voice being abby's, was zero.

ellie and dina gave each other a look before dina turned to yn and abby, raising a brow, "do you two need a chaperone..?"

yn choked on nothing, because she needed to embarrass herself and give abby even more shit to use against her.

but abby just laughed, looking annoyingly pretty, "maybe." yn hoped abby's mom was proud of herself for shitting out this stupid bitch ass lesbian.

Basically, the idea of having to write 20+ covers has been kind of weighing on me and killing my motivation for this project. So ! instead, I'll be releasing a tracklist with notes on what happens in each song soon[ish] and will be only writing/illustrating the covers that I'm confident and interested in. Whatever covers I get to writing probably won't be in chronological order as I'd like to keep this project a little more open ended and free for me :]

The information below on what the covers/drawings will look like is still accurate, but the rest is outdated.

I'm gonna try to keep talking to a minimum on these in the future, but I figured I should provide some context as this is the first piece. Sooo yeah ! Here's the first song in William's Wanton Weary Wiles! See masterpost for context ^^ these will all be released in chronological order, in the form of written Jash-style (changing some lyrics to fit the story) Will Wood covers. I'll be hyperlinking each original song in the cover titles so people can get a sense of what it would sound like, +for credit ofc :] Most of them will also be accompanied with some sort of art piece !! The majority will probably just be little somewhat shitty sketches such as the one featured here (for the sake of my sanity lol. and also cuz. frankly. I like them :3), but I might have some full pieces too at some point. A/N: a little somethin to keep you held over while I finish up the longer pics I'm publishing this weekend.

“Checkmate in three.” 

“What?” Spencer stared at the board, and then you, and then back at the board. “There’s no—”

“Well it’s your move Spence. Let’s finish the game then.” 

About one minute later, when you had successfully checkmated him in three moves, Spencer was suddenly no longer in the happy mood he had been in when he suggested you play chess. 

“Oh Spence please, it’s just a game.” You sighed and started to pack up the game. 

“I just don’t—”

“Ah!” You cut him off. “Don’t finish that sentence if you wanna sleep in the same bed as me tonight.” 

Spencer kept his mouth shut, opting to help you pick up the rest of the pieces of the game instead. 

“No one will ever believe you.” He grumbled, getting up and placing the chest board over on the small table by the window. 

“Yeah but you will. And that’s all the power I need, baby.” You laughed a bit before taking a sip of the wine in front of you. 

“You are evil.” 

“And yet you still love me Doctor Spencer Reid.” 

Spencer sighed dramatically and sat down next to you on the couch. “I guess I do.” 

You shifted slightly so that you could rest your head on his shoulder; both of you basking in each other’s company. 

“I’m really grateful you’re home for my birthday.” You whispered, not moving your head off his shoulder. “And before you say anything, I don’t blame you for not being here last year, I mean it’s not your fault some guy was chopping people’s limbs up in Texas. I’m just…I’m glad you’re here with me.” 

Spencer didn’t know how to feel. You felt him tense up a bit, causing you to pull away and frown. “Spencer what.” 

“Nothing just.” He ran his hands through his hair. “It sucks that I’m always off on a whim, that there is basically no consistency to my work schedule so the threat of not being here for important events like your birthday or even just a long weekend just. I-I don’t know.” 

“The fact that your schedule is inconsistent makes it extremely consistent. I know who I married. Does it suck sometimes? Yes. But that’s just because I miss you. Sometimes, it’s nice considering the fact that I enjoy being independent–”

“I know who I married.” Spencer cut you off, a small smile on his face. 

“Yeah Yeah, tough guy with the big brain and a badge, okay okay.” 

Spencer chuckled and kissed your head, wrapping his arm around you and rubbing his thumb on your hip. “So--,” 

“So buttons babe.” 

“Sooo, if you let me finish, what is next on the birthday agenda.” 

You pursed your lips and smirked slightly. 

“What.” 

You stood up and walked away from him. 

“Babe, what are you doing?” 

“Why don’t you follow me and find out, Doctor.”

Pov : Y/N and her teammates decompress at The hard Deck's bar after an intense training session in the air. They were in a pair, and as usual, Hangman wanted to show off during the exercise, leaving Y/N and Payback in the lurch.

Rooster x Reader

The Hard Deck was alive with the buzz of laughter and chatter, the jukebox belting out classic rock tunes that mingled with the clinking of glasses. Y/N leaned against the bar, her arms crossed as she sipped her beer, trying to ignore the ever-present voice of Hangman echoing through the room. Phoenix stood beside her, tossing a peanut into her mouth and rolling her eyes at Hangman’s antics.

“I swear, he’s got a special talent for making everything about himself,” Phoenix muttered, loud enough for Y/N to hear but not so loud that Hangman could catch it.

Y/N smirked. “You’d think he’d be tired after pulling all those stunts during training. But no, he’s just warming up.”

Across the bar, Hangman was holding court, his grin as wide as his ego. “I’m just saying, if you’re gonna keep up with me, you’ve gotta think faster. That’s what flying’s all about—quick decisions, sharp instincts. Right, Payback?”

Payback rolled his eyes but kept his cool, leaning back in his chair. “Whatever you say, Hangman.”

“Whatever I say is right,” Hangman quipped, flashing a cocky smile at Y/N. “Isn’t that right, Y/N? You and Payback barely made it out of that last exercise without my help.”

Y/N’s jaw tightened, but she kept her composure. “Maybe next time you can focus less on showing off and more on teamwork, Bagman” she shot back, earning a chuckle from Phoenix.

Hangman’s grin widened. “Teamwork’s great and all, but let’s be real—it’s about who’s got the skill to stand out. Speaking of skills, how about a little pool? Unless you’re afraid to lose again.”

Phoenix nudged Y/N. “Go for it. Wipe that smirk off his face.”

Rooster, sitting nearby with a drink in hand, gave Y/N an encouraging nod. “You’ve got this, sweetheart.”

Y/N set her drink down and strolled to the pool table, picking up a cue with an air of nonchalance. “Alright, Hangman. Let’s see what you’ve got.”

The game started, and Y/N deliberately missed her shots, her expression carefully neutral. Hangman’s confidence grew with every ball he sunk, his taunts growing bolder.

“Come on, Y/N. I thought you’d at least make this interesting,” he said, leaning on his cue with a smug grin.

Y/N’s lips twitched into a small smile. “Oh, don’t worry. I will.”

The room seemed to pause as Y/N straightened up and lined up her next shot. With precise, practiced movements, she began clearing the table, one ball after another finding his mark. Hangman’s grin faltered, then disappeared entirely as Y/N sank the final ball with a flourish.

The bar erupted in cheers and applause. Phoenix whooped, her and Y/N high-fiving. “That’s my girl!”

Rooster was on his feet, a proud smile lighting up his face. “You never cease to amaze me, sweetheart.” Rooster then kisses Y/N, to the whistling and applause of the bar crowd.

Hangman’s expression was a mix of disbelief and irritation as he tried to recover. “Alright, alright. Guess you had it in you after all.” Y/N handed him the cue with a sly smile. “Guess you’ll think twice before underestimating me again.”

The rest of the team laughed, their camaraderie filling the bar as Hangman’s ego took a well-deserved hit. Y/N take a sip of her beer, her spirits lifted by the victory and the pride in his eyes. For tonight, the Hard Deck was theirs, and she was exactly where she belonged.

Later that night, Y/N is sitting at the bar, alone, watching the bar continue to come alive. Rooster approaches her and leaned in close , his voice low and warm. “That was incredible. I’ve seen you fly, but seeing you hustle him like that? I’m impressed.”

Y/N chuckled, her cheeks flushing slightly. “Wait. Is that means you're not impressed when I fly ?"

“That's not what I'm saying.”

She laugh “It’s all about strategy. Let him think he’s got the upper hand, then strike.”

He grinned, brushing a strand of hair from her face “Remind me to never play pool against you.”

“Oh, come on,” she teased, nudging him lightly. “I’d go easy on you. Maybe.”

“Maybe?” he echoed, leaning closer. “You’re dangerous, Y/N.”

“And you like it,” she shot back with a playful glint in her eye.

Rooster's grin turned mischievous, his voice dropping even lower. “Oh, I do. Especially when you’re bossy. Maybe you could show me how you handle a stick later—might learn to you a thing or two tonight.”

Y/N felt her cheeks heat, but she refused to back down, narrowing her eyes at him with a smirk. “Careful, Bradshaw. Don’t start something you can’t finish.”

Rooster chuckled, the sound melting into the lively atmosphere of the bar. Later that night, Rooster kept his promise...

- The soul tends to look unstable (cracks & a sortve stroboscopic effect.. i couldn't think of a better word.) but not in some cases...

It doesn't have to be a white upside-down heart, that's just a reference to an undertale monster soul.

He has a purple substance full of little RADs that emanate from his eyesockets (when his sunglasses are off)

Human Designs:

Fresh can possess humans too.

They all look physically different because they're different people that he's possessing.

I dunno what's up with the multicolor tongue thing. I think it was extra parasites in the host's mouth? I feel like it was scrapped at some point... but I could be wrong

The REAL Parasite:

Fresh is actually this little parasite controlling a host body. (if you didn't know that why are you reading this post rn!?! but nah I love new Fresh fans, welcome!)

The main parasite is this purple one with the eyemouth and four(?) tendrils, the other colored tentacles are prrrobably Fresh's offspring (freshmageddon moment?) (I'm not actually sure, I'm just pretty sure they're not part of the main parasite but are parasite tentacles)

I think what I really enjoy about hyde is seeing the strength and selflessness they have in this situation, even at the expense of their own self. Because it is a Herculean task to leave the person you love and the person you grew a connection with, even if the extent of those relationships fell short of what you wanted. But there's also an element of hope in their character, at least for me there is. This same strength could easily pick the pieces of themselves back up. It could easily hold those pieces together again. It could easily allow them to move on. But the human aspect of their character is that they'll likely hold onto them (figuratively) for as long as they can, even when they don't know the way Ghost had begun to warm up to them, the way Soap was filled with sorrow once he found out they had left. It's just the way grief works - you gotta go through the waves before there's any chance at moving on.

It makes me wonder how Ghoap fare after they find out Hyde left. We know they grow a little connection to them, especially Ghost since he doesn't warm up to people well, but did the boys have a deep enough connection to grieve for what could've been? Does Soap even know that Ghost was warming up to Hyde? That he was looking forward to the three of them? Did Soap truly want a poly relationship? Do they realize how selfish they had been for indulging in each other freely but stringing Hyde along with scraps of their affection? all thoughts, all wonder. no need to answer any of those questions btw, just wanted to share my thoughts!!

im so sorry it took so long to reply to this ask because of how much it meant to me. im so so happy to see the love for hwwl and hyde, and how even amidst the dogshit i put them through, you guys indulge me anyway 🥹

and absolutely!! going into writing hwwl, as inconsistent and short bursts they are, i have always known two things: hyde will always leave, and ghoap will always face some type of hurt because of it. i guess another thing to glean from that is that hwwl wouldn't have a happy ending in a romantic way. there's no good suffering (hyde and their selflessness leading to a requited love) nor a chase (ghoap running after them to bring them back into their fold) nor a revenge arc (someone else loving hyde the way they should, and it being thrown to ghoap's faces). it is just a quiet splintering, as everything is with hyde.

i'm so so glad to see you mention the element of hope in their character. hyde deserves that at least. yes, they let themselves be dragged into the mess with ghoap because it had been the only way they can even have ghost in their life, but they also deserve to step back. there were sooo many scenarios i wanted to bring out that would end up with hyde leaving - some of them explosive, and some of them so entrenched in turmoil - but just thinking about how they left in the midst of mending things with ghost (that one-sided animosity that ghost held onto) was such a sweet release. it's like when an over-inflated balloon is held carefully, and the tight hold on the rubbered end loosens up slowly until enough helium leaves so that no explosion happens. and it's as peaceful as it could be; a kind escape, and hyde deserves a quiet parting so no... ghost (ha!) can haunt them in their new voyage.

i thought about this day and night because i know in my heart of hearts, ghost wouldnt. johnny would, at least for what it was - before it was ghost and soap and hyde. he would miss that slip of thing that only he and hyde had. and i think johnny needs to feel guilty every time ghost comes over to pull him in ghost will always wait for him, of course he will, but i see this distance creating another friction, then another cause for ghost's resentment to hyde

he will never because ghost will deny himself, and therefore johnny, any moment of regretting. hyde left them, why would ghost let their past haunt him? (it always does).

not at first. he was... selfish. he just wanted them for himself; with no commitment. he rationalized it by saying that in their bleak reality, with such a thunderous life, it was difficult to have anything more than pressed bodies and hot kisses. but when he is alone in his bunk - hyde had already started pulling away by then, and ghost is away on a mission with gaz - johnny thinks and feels and yearns

ghost knew hyde loved him. he know hyde only agreed because that arrangement was only ever the extent that ghost would give of himself to them. and he used it to tag them along because johnny liked - loves - hyde, and ghost loves johnny so he will give him everything johnny knew. he just... pretended he couldn't see because he trusted hyde to pull away if they don't want this fucked up arrangement anymore. he just didn't expect them to leave

He probably hates his body a lot especially when in the glade. He most definitely hated mirrors or looking it him self in general...(poor baby) He most likely did self harm and hid it form everyone expect for Gally he couldn't hid it from him.

He also couldn't hide his chest form Gally. How did Gally find out idk he probably walked in when minho was changing or stm. At first Minho panicked he basically thought he was cooked! But Gally instead didn't tell anyone else on what he saw. Instead he just waited for Minho when he was ready to tell him.

Gally most definitely helped Minho with anything really like covering his chest up (but he most likely did that to get titty flashed lol). And also he was there for Minho, like he hear him out,confort him etc.(until well Thomas showed up and shenanigans started to happen)

I feel like once he got kidnapped by Wicked... If were thinking realistic here he might have gotten sexually assaulted...By a bitchass person who worked there and after well that his body dysmorphia only grew worse. And after getting saved and beening brought to the safe haven he probably didn't even tell anyone what he went through once he was there.But then after some time he probably told Gally, Thomas, etc..

Once he was in the Safe Haven he probably toke him while to start doing physical touch again. Maybe some small gestures but more then that.He most definitely got top surgery he was probably told either Gally or Jorge? (I'm not sure)
