Magnolia posed for the pre ceremony photos that her cousin required all of her bridal party to have done. She couldn’t help by be jealous of her cousin, her fiancé Beckett was one of the absolute most attractive men she ever seen and she was lucky to be marrying him. As the ceremony started, Magnolia walked besides the best man, taking their positions beside the alter. She held her bouquet and gave a smile to Beckett before the entrance song started for his bride to walk down the aisle.

Magnolia let out a soft sigh as she felt how heartbroken he was, it killed her seeing him so upset. “As much as I love my cousin, she’s no good apparently..” she wiped under her eyes, looking to Beckett. “She fucked up, bad. I don’t know if she’s been talking to that dumbass and for how long but you don’t deserve that. You are strong, and literally the best person I know.” Noli took his hand, lacing her fingers between his to try and push some positive energy to him. “How about you and me take a trip, fuck it let’s take your honeymoon and have a fantastic time and I’ll deal with my cousin. You can stay with me for a while, I have the space. As long as you’re okay with that..”

Hearing the crowd gasp, magnolias uncle and aunt went after their daughter while Noli stayed beside Beckett. She held onto his arm gently as she looked to the guests, “as you all have seen the event that has unfolded, there unfortunately will not be a wedding today. I am sorry for the mistake my cousin has made made today. As of right now, you all are okay to head home. There’s no reception to follow. Thank you all for being here even though this all happened in the end.” She gave a soft smile before ushering Beckett back down the aisle and into the building away from everyone. “Hey..” she sat beside him on the couch of the suite.

Beckett stood there lost for words, unsure what to do his gaze fixating on the floor as he shook his head. “This can’t be happening,” he whispered to himself on repeat as he could hear Magnolia talking to the rest of the guests as he felt her holding onto him. Just the light touch being the other thing from not wanting him to lose his mind, knowing he wasn’t alone. He felt her trying to move him so he just moved with her slowly, not sure if he really wanted to be touched at the current moment as his brows furrowed together. Hearing her voice speaking to him he slowly turned his head to her. “Why did she do that?” He looked at her rather confused as he shook his head, his gaze dropping again.

The blonde relaxed on the haybale as best as she could while eating the funnel cake, humming as she watched children with their parents, teenagers with friends, couples being cute. It certainly killed her to be stood up at one of her favorite events. On the note of cute, she saw a male she had crossed lather with a few times- he had to be new in town and now he was speaking to her. Magnolia was sure to have powered sugar on her face but smiled as she saw him approach, giving a small wave “hey yourself,” she looked up to him, “got stood up so this funnel cake is making me feel better.” She couldn’t help but let a laugh leave her lips as she ate another piece, “want some?” The blonde holding the plate out to him.

Magnolia gave a soft smile his way when he finally spoke. Even though the words were not as many as she hoped it was more than expected. When he agreed to come with her on the trip and to stay with her for the time being she nodded and squeezed his hand. “Let’s go get in my car, we will go pack what I can fit in the car of your stuff and we’ll leave out first thing for the trip.”

Beckett still was completely lost for words, he never expected to be left at the alter, it all seemed so sudden. As Magnolia spoke he slowly managed to turn towards her slightly as he listened, no words falling from his features in shock. “Yeah,” his voice managed to appear at her suggestion. He was rather lucky he was close with Magnolia, she was probably the only person in their life he actually got along with. “I want to say thank you,” he managed to speak slowly as he gave her hand a light squeeze. He knew if it wasn’t for her he might be still broken at the front of the atlar with everyone staring at him.

As the preacher started the ceremony, they had gotten to the part everyone nearly dreaded. “Is there anyone who believes these two should not be United in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace.” Seeing a male emerge from the side of the alter, the male speaking that he did and declared his love for the almost bride. Magnolias smile faltered as she stepped closer to the alter as the female was scooped off her feet and left, leaving Beckett at the alter. She walked over to Beckett and grabbed his arm gently.

He truly was excited to marry the women he had fallen deeply in love with. Just looking at her coming up to the alter with her, looking at how beautiful she was he was ready for their future. Although, as the ceremony went on it seemed as if everything had just fallen apart right in front of him. He wasn’t sure how to respond or how to act, she was gone. She choose someone else. Beckett stood there still, unable to move he could feel the eyes on him and the feeling of pity filling the room. Raising a brow as he felt a hand on him, forcing a smile he turned to see Magnolia. Anyone who looked at him could tell he was completely upset.

Beckett was nervous for the wedding, but he was ready to spend the rest of his life with this female. Smiling at Magnolia as the ceremony started, he was happy that he got along well with his fiance’s family.
