hii im back. im gonna redo this because my last one was made when i was still loony from fucking around with command blocks with my friends at 2 am. so im gonna do this when im sane and coherent :p

first question: last time i had only mentioned gemini. in this week however i realized how to put hacker n kaz in too so :thumbsup:

i forgot that this is the loathing universe. i can make things the fuck up and/or be inaccurate to real life. and i forgot things. i will instead be putting gemini into some vauge records division. why? because of the whole betrayal thing. they think that this is a) something they can do b) something they can do well and c) something they can sabotage for their own benefit. theyre the fucking worst <3

ok normally i go in order so hacker should be next but i have to talk about kaz first. kaz i will put into whatever it was that was the plane one. naca i think? hes kinda. Violent. and in the group b timeline thats why he got sent to ocean city but in this au i imagine he would instead go into the gov work to like. try and be normal. i think hed like planes cause flying is sick. so yeah. now i didnt look into what the naca does so im gonna make it up. gives out plane permits and designates no fly zones. this is so that no pilot accidentaly flies over some Restricted Areas and finds something they shouldnt yknow. look ive never been the worldbuilding type especially for government shit. thats biz's job

now hacker. hacker in canon 'speaks' in only emoticons. this is because group b is the "fuck it we ball" and i always choose the funniest option. canonically i imagine this is because of a curse of some sort. this means that the only two people who understand her are noelle and kaz. i am imagining kaz going "hey hacks want to work with me" or something like that. so hacker works with him. also with this the way i canonized the save eiditng it might not work with this au however. rule of funny. she can find it still as a treat. this is why shes let in because even if shes weird she can duplicate things so shes definitely an asset also re: shadow gov. kaz dont give a shit and hacker is like 'well if kaz doesnt mind its probably fine'

second question! rival swaps... gemini was pretty well explained last time but also I Am Looking Away from it. I Do Not See it. so ill summarize. gemini swaps with noel. theyre a huge bitch. theyre absolutely going to betray the president. coworkers... maybe. depends. the pres is aware of the betrayal plans. gem is aware of the pres knowing. they will not speak of it. lol. i would think that maybe coworkers arent aware? but maybe they are and dont speak of it? whichever you like better honestly

hacker and kaz... they work together so theyre both swapping with the same guy. and i figure that because kaz is the main one here they swap with bruise. one violent military general is swapped with another, more violent plane guy (i dont know the word) and his silly :3 sister. kaz would bother the protag mostly but maybe hacker shows up sometimes. not attacking you or anything just a slight nusiance. only thing that tells you shes with the shadow gov is the shadow hat. this is partially because all their dialouge is ":D ! :3 . ￣へ￣ (⊙_⊙)？¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . (￣y^,￣)╭ " kaz's main motivation is 'protect my sisters' and if hes working for the shadow gov then they wont go after them. its a good thing he doesnt give a shit about what theyre doing. also i think on day 6 you go into the office and after the puzzle theres hacker sitting at a reception desk or whatever and its either a secondary puzzle of trying to find the right combination of emoticons or you can talk normally and maybe take a meat penalty or something. she lets you in for free if you do the emoticon one because 'wow theyre just like me fr' LOL. hacker doesnt fight you though because kaz wont let her. shes ok with that shes chillin. bein silly :3 . you know how it is.

hacker thinks that the rivals are kinda lame. does make her feel better about being let in though because EVERYONES really weird. shes friendly with them though they can understand her so she has to translate through kaz. kaz does not like them as much. kaz does not like people in general actually. even if hes swapping with bruise he'd still exist so if they were on the same side kaz might like him the best. wooo violence

also re: noelle. i think the funniest option here is that she has No Clue. shes like "wow im so glad my siblings found something they could do. in the government even! im so proud of them" and then theyre just being evil LOL

Given that this would be an alternate timeline or universe, what kind of position would your OC hold in the Shadow Government? [Ex. Valentine being a (Well, Bruise assigned it so it IS technically military... Guh.) Military postal officer; Jimmy the janitor a la @ samthecookielord ]

As a follow-up, if your OC would replace one of the main four completely, what would they do differently than the rivals in base-game? How about their motivations? How would they feel about their coworkers?

EDIT:

YOU DONT HAVE TO BE LIMITED TO GOVERNMENT POSITIONS IRL NOËL IS LITERALLY THE OFFICIAL WIZARD. Make up new positions or whatever but you can base them off irl since. Well, something has to work around here.

These maybe-swaps are not meant to be 1:1 replacements either! And heck, maybe your character can multiclass stats too lol. Valentine is Mysticality and Moxie. The possibilities are endless and you can make a fresh timeline where everything since the beginning of the game has changed bc of your characters' interference.
