* ✧ ˚ ( sean teale | cis male | he/him ) — i just saw ANDRES LOVEGOOD in london! they say the PUREBLOOD is from UNITED KINGDOM, likely here for the season or that nasty business with travers, which explains them REPORTER FOR LOCAL PAPER (SIMILAR TO THE QUIBBLER). i think i’ve heard it said that they are TWENTY SEVEN, and attended HOGWARTS / HUFFLEPUFF, but that’s not all too interesting, so let’s get into the nitty gritty. the rumors say that they are PATIENT & UNDERSTANDING, but i’ve also heard whispers of them being MOODY & GUARDED. i don’t mean to speculate, but from what i’ve heard, they seem to align with THE FEDERATION OF WIZARDS , isn’t that just interesting?

Andres was born on February 16, 1848. However, he possesses no knowledge of his biological parents, his place of birth, or his earliest life, outside of knowing that both of his parents were Witches/Wizards. 

He was given up immediately after his birth, entrusted to a magical youth shelter to await foster or adoption. Although it is often said that adoption comes quickly for infants and young children, this was unfortunately not Andres’ experience. He remained in the shelter until the age of 8. 

Spending the first 8 years of his life as he did, Andres experienced many struggles. Even as a child, he was quieter than most, always seeming to be more interested in hanging back in observation than in putting himself directly into the thick of things. 

Despite his quiet temperament and demeanor, Andres showed early signs of high intelligence. He has always had a natural curiosity and thirst for learning. Excelling in school even at a young age, Andres devoured any and all information he was exposed to, taking in everything he could to help shape his view of the world. 

Even in childhood, Andres proved himself to be incredibly kind, seeming to have an old soul and a natural understanding of people and their emotions. He showed signs of deep compassion and caring for others, and never had a problem extending a helping hand or a listening ear to anyone who needed it. 

At the age of 8, Andres was adopted by the Lovegood family, a known family in the Wizarding world who possessed a reputation for being rather odd for the time. 

Despite the nerves that came with being adopted. Andres was grateful for the family he’d been waiting for all his life. Immediately, he clicked with the Lovegood family, feeling accepted, cared for, and loved the moment he walked through their door. Andres is, has always been, and will always be incredibly loyal to his family. 

At the age of 11, Andres received his letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, not to anyone’s shock, though much to their excitement. Though he was nervous, he viewed this as the next chapter in his life, and the next step in his adventure. And, knowing that two of his siblings were already in attendance made things that much easier. Immediately, Andres was sorted into the Hufflepuff house, again to no one’s shock. 

Throughout his time in school, Andres excelled. Although he was never the type to play Quiddich or the like, he poured his energy into his studies, and into the friends he’d made along the way. While he wasn’t at the tip-top of his class, he came in within the top 5%. 

Relationships always seemed to evade Andres, and though he always dreamed of having someone to love and hold, the opportunity simply never seemed to present itself. Throughout school, he had crushes, though after two rejections and a bit of humiliation (on occasion, due to his family name), he became too shy to attempt to truly pursue anything. 

Following his graduation from Hogwarts, Andres went immediately into pursuing his passion for writing. Journalism simply made sense, when combining his natural curiosity with his love of writing. Quickly, he worked through the requirements to earn his certificate, allowing him to move into a professional career. 

Andres attempted to take a position at the Daily Prophet, even offering to work in the mail room and work his way up to journalist. However, he was shot down repetitively, leaving him feeling hopeless. 

The offices of a publication similar to the later Quibbler found themselves with an opening, and on a whim Andres applied, and given the job. Though he preferred to write for a publication others would take seriously, Andres cherished his position, and threw himself into his reporting work, primarily focusing on what would be akin to human interest pieces. 

Though others may not take his employer seriously, Andres does. He throws himself into his work, and takes it more seriously than most. Though he is occasionally required to write more off-the-wall stories, he continues to collect accurate and relevant information for additional articles. 

Andres loves his family dearly and passionately, he has always wondered about his biological family. He wants to begin searching for them, but is unsure of where to begin. 

With the Season upon them once more, Andres has returned to London partially to cover the events and relationships happening around him, but partially to find love of his own. He still has his reservations, and is shy beyond compare, but hopes that this will be his year.
