give me eddie who calls everyone pet names so casually that the reason steve gets tipped off about eddie’s Thing For Him is because he just calls him steve.

i’m talking calling robin sugar, and chrissy princess, and any of the kids big guy or my man.

but eddie is so hyperaware of His Feelings and the fact that he already let one ‘big boy’ slip that he overcorrects and only ever addresses steve by his government name.

steve is jealous at first but the way eddie’s eyes always go a little crazy and he’s constantly clearing his throat before he addresses steve kind of show his hand.

steve’s not too worried after that.

hi um, i have a question about doll ettiquete? like i understand the thing with using "that one" and third person instead of second, but what about addressing in phrases like if i wanted to say "thank you lace!" that doesn't sound right but... how would one phrase it?

Hello there Alice! This is a very considerate question, and you're a very good floret for asking.

In this one's experience, it's a little different from doll to doll. Personally, this one doesn't mind things like "thank you" being used for it, since it understands that it's still being seen as a doll even when people use 'you' as a part of a phrase. On the other hand, it totally understands if a doll isn't as accepting. Since there typically isn't a humanity for the 'you' to refer to, it can sometimes make a doll feel a bit uncomfortable.

So, this one thinks the most polite thing to do would be to ask Lace directly! It seems like a very nice doll, this one is sure it wouldn't mind. If that one is unsure, or you can't really ask it directly for whatever reason (this one understands that plurality can be a little unpredictable sometimes) then it may be considerate to air on the side of caution. Saying "thanks" instead of "thank you", using passive voice, things of that nature.

steve crashes at the curtises a lot, but he only does it when they’re asleep so they won’t ask questions and he won’t feel like he’s much of a burden. he takes over the huest bedroom—all three curtis boys know he’s been in there, even when he makes the bed near identical to how it was the night before, so they decorate it to be like something steve would like. there’s pictures of him and the gang taped on the ceiling, someone sent me a headcanon about steve who used to have toy cars that got trashed during his parents divorce, and soda finds the exact replicas and gives them to him on his birthday, they’re all on the bedrest. on rare occasions, pony will leave some of his art supplies or books for steve to read/doodle with because he knows steve has insomnia and may not be able to sleep too well.. every rainy or cold night, darry puts some warm tea, a slice of cake and some leftovers of that nights dinner on the bed stand. he knows that steve’s been over if the food’s been eaten, usually a small ‘thank you’ written on a torn piece of paper is left in its wake.

while steve may have a rocky relationship with both pony and darry, they certainly don’t hate him, and he’s like a brother to them both.

You see, her best friend, Barbara Holland— a mortal— had been missing for days, leaving behind no evidence of her whereabouts. Nancy, fearing the worst, confronted Jonathan to see if Barbara's soul had made it to the underworld. Together, they embarked on a journey across the realms to solve the mystery of Barbara's death and during that time, they grew fond of one another, surprised at how different the other was from their preconceived assumptions. Once they ensured justice for Barbara's murder, and it was time to part ways, Jonathan was prepared to let Nancy return to the heavens and resume his lonely rule in isolation. But just before he could send her away, Nancy grabbed a pomegranate off his table, popped a handful of seeds in her mouth, and expressed her desire to stay at his side.
