Shadow and Bone season 1 timeline (not to scale). First time I watched the show, it felt like Alina was only at the Little Palace a very short time - mostly because the Crow's story was happening later but being shown at the same time as Alina's story.

What are things you value the most in a person?

That's a really good question! I think one of the qualities I admire most is the strength to be true to oneself - saints know it's never easy, and I do really look up to those who have that kind of self-confidence.

I also think that kindness is immeasurably valuable. There are so many people in this world who struggle in one way or another, and those people who can find it within themselves to extend a hand to somebody in need are the kind of people who make the world a brighter place.

In terms of those I'm close with, I appreciate a sense of humour in my friends! I love being able to joke around and have fun with the people I spend my time with. But equally, I love earnestness. Anybody who acts truly and genuinely - maybe a little awkwardly, but without shame - is a delight to be around. (And I may be thinking of one person in particular, that being @davidkostyk-durast - he's always so wonderfully sweet and genuine.)

After a quick break, I’m back in the Grishaverse for the third series, King of Scars. King of Scars is a duology that follows young King Nikolai Lantsov and the Grisha Triumvirate as they work to rebuild Ravka after the civil war. Nothing is as it seems. Meanwhile, Heartrender Nina Zenik embarks on a new mission in Fjerda. The first book of this series takes everything you know about Grisha and busts it wide open. It blends the feel of Shadow and Bone with that of Six of Crows. I could not put it down! Nikolai is one of my favorite Grishsverse characters. I’m loving this series so far. Do you think there's a parallel universum? If yes, how do you think it looks like? And what do you think your life and you would be like?

That's such an interesting question! I think it's entirely possible that there are other universes out there; I've listened to several explanations of quantum physics from various people, and while I still don't fully understand it (sorry @davidkostyk-durast and @audience-with-sturmhond, I promise your explanations were great) I think it's definitely a fun thing to contemplate.

As for who I'd be in a parallel universe - who knows? Maybe I'd still live with my parents. Maybe I wouldn't be Grisha at all, and I'd work as an apothecary, or dressmaker, or anything else! I hope that in an alternate universe I'd still have my friends and husband, though.
