Festival season was always Eddie’s favorite. Something about the massive crowds that gathered each year, a buzz that filled the air and ignited his excitement like nothing else and it seemed the same for the rest of the band. The cheers were still echoing as they stepped off the stage. He broke off from the rest of the band before he could be pulled for an interview, thankfully.

Eddie was shirtless and covered in sweat, still buzzing with the excitement and adrenaline of being on stage as he maneuvered his way through the maze of stagehands and technicians bustling about backstage, eager to get back to the designated musicians’ dressing room for a smokee and a water. Just as he reached for the handle of said room, the door opened and Eddie nearly ran into whoever was leaving. “Woah, there.” He spoke up as he caught the figure by the shoulders before they could collide. He seemed clearly in a rush and Eddie was almost annoyed before he caught sight of the guy’s face. “Steve?”

Okay so just to sum up recent events on the US Right:

• Trump starts a contract with Peter Thiel's Palantir company to create a database of ALL INFORMATION on EVERY LIVING AMERICAN

• Its revealed Stephen Miller and Elon Musk have had a very massive fight, supposedly because Elon Musk is sleeping with Miller's wife

• Trump ousts Elon from the administration, after over five months of being besties. Leaves with Stephen Miller's wife, who he just hired at one of his companies (!?)

• Elon starts saying the Big Beautiful Bill sucks

• A GOP Representative reveals that most of them didnt actually get to read the Big Beautiful Bill, GOP leadership basically made them rubber stamp it and they are pissed to find out it makes them all look horrible. A lot of them are now discussing a shakeup in GOP leadership.

• Trump says Elon has "Trump Derangement Syndrome" (🤮)

• Elon escalates massively, stating that Trump is in the Epstein files and THATS why they havent released them yet

• This comes right as Alex Jones loses a massive chunk of his audience because he's endorsing Trump's Palantir contract, and his fans are basically all very concerned about their privacy. They want a new conspiracy to follow and they just got one

• Trump starts threatening Elon's government contracts

• Ian Miles Cheong calls for Trump to be impeached immediately, and for JD Vance to become President. Elon Musk quote retweets this with "Yes"

• JD Vance was mentored by Peter Thiel

• Steve Bannon takes to Fox calling for the immediate deportation of Musk, and making SpaceX a public company

Chat they made Minecraft into a silly goofy cringe movie even through Minecraft is actually about life and earth and the universe and tearing meaning out of the ground and molding it with your hands into something that you can be proud of. They made the pink sheep look ugly and funny for a cheap laugh when it should’ve been a beautiful moment where you, age eleven, come across this rarity, this beautiful anomaly and you hold its face in your hands and stare into its chocolate brown eyes and you realize what the whole world is about. The bell hung on the front door of Family Video jingled, signaling the entrance of a customer. Eddie entered, hair tied up in a lazy ponytail to keep it up off his neck. It was a sunday afternoon, so Eddie’s plans weren’t much other than just smoking and watching a movie all by himself. He’d already been through any movies he had back at his trailer, which was how he found himself wandering about the video store. It took him a moment to decide what he wanted, even though whatever he’d pick out would probably inevitably end up as mostly just background noise. He made a selection with an interesting enough cover, taking the movie up to the counter, and promptly pausing as he set eyes on the cashier. He recognized him nearly instantly, sliding the movie over to him over the countertop. “Well, would you look at that? King Steve, right?” Eddie asked, a grin on his face as he leaned his hip into the counter.
