i quite like the sun/moon analogy for markus and connor. through markus’ eyes, connor is someone who just needs help, a hand to lift him up, someone to quite literally shine light on. but through connor’s eyes, markus is the one who deviated him, let him open his eyes for the first time, markus is someone who shed warmth across everyone, while connor does not have that light nor warmth to give their people.

But I don’t think that if we get byler we’re going to get an I love you. ONLY because with all of the other ships in the series who are seen as “strong cannon couples” never have to express their love vocally, it’s already implied and known to the characters/audience. I feel like saying the words “I love you” is going to remove all of the point behind the fact that Mike had to SAY that he loved eleven and not that it was already assumed and understood that he did. It will have impact I’m sure but we are supposed to feel the love, not be told that the love is there. That point has been made with all of the other cannon couples currently together
