Writer Nonnie and I haven't caught up to Castlevania but I know it through memes(as with everything thing I have a vague interest in) so may I share my Voltron/Castlevania crossover idea? Might need a few asks so please bear with me again as I ramble. SO, it begins with Alucard. Alone. Probably finds what's SUPPOSED to be a divination spell and tries to spy/check in on Trevor and Sypha. He ducks up. The spell is ACTUALLY a summoning spell, and...well...(to be continued)

(...I’m not sure if these are out of order or not. Whoops.)
...oh I am digging this idea, Writer Nonnie!
*coughs* I have a soft spot for Alucard. Just let him be happy and with people!!! *roars into the void*
And, well. Trevor, Sypha, and Alucard gave me such Jiro, Allura, and Lotor vibes that it gave me whiplash. Trevor’s a bit too callous for me to fully associate him with Shiro. But Ryou or Jiro? Yeah I can see that.
Also the Shiroganes would absolutely be a group of Yokai Hunters—and we even have Cho as a Japanese vampire lord, so there’d absolutely be vampire huntors in Feudal Japan. Why not the Shirogane Clan?
(And quite frankly the Trio could all use an Actual Team Mom—but especially Alucard.)
-
Colleen: “...okay this is new. But still not as strange as a giant green mechanical cat adopting my daughter. Oh and your alchemic formula was supposed to look like this—“
-
Ryou: “Pffff. Magic-smagic. It’s just archaic science anyway—“
*small explosion*
“...okay that was supposed to happen.”
Alucard: “Your eyebrows are on fire.”
Ryou: “I had eyebrows??”
#writer nonnie#ask box stuff#castlevania au#castlevania crossover#vld crossover#...I am loving that Shirogane idea. Looking forward to whether or not you write it#if not leaving stuff like this in my askbox is still FUN :)

Welcome back to yet another house presented by The Prancing Moogle! Our presentation may look different, but our love and passion for housing has not changed. Get comfortable, because this house is quite the treat: another large plot, and the owner of the estate has added some enticing text to the description of Anchora Heights here in Shirogane (ward 20, plot 60 of Brynhildr) that cant be overlooked. “We’re chewing the fat,” reads the auto-translate text, followed by, “Lalafell. Designed by Chanpelle.” Whether you are Lalafell or any of the other beloved races of this star, Chanpelle’s design can certainly be appreciated.
The exterior entrance guides us with a path of Dohn Trellis. Paths break off to different parts of the front lawn for easy access to the garden and two decks with tables and seating. Picture the light chatter over morning tea and coffee in the garden in such a lovely atmosphere. Also to note is the very clever striking dummy build in the center of the lawn, using a fountain, tree, and aetheryte.
Heading inside, be careful not to trip in the dark. Immediately, I am overcome with memories of Narnia and stepping out of the wardrobe into a manor of antiques, displays, and lots of glowing plants that I know are not edible, but they should be. In the main entrance room, there is much to see, and details that are easy to miss. There are little items tucked away in every corner, and every shelf and display case is filled to the brim with detail and flavor that suggests a story to be told.
Upstairs is a much calmer and more collected layout. The bannisters, planters, and stone pillars bring to mind a classy fine dining experience, while the L-shape sofa entices comfort and casual conversation. Across from this charming arrangement is a cozy bar, and they are very well stocked.
The next staircase is just behind the front counter in the main entrance. It leads to not only a more intimate seating area for two, but another staircase. Before we leave this area, note the moon in the fish tank, which is a lovely idea. This house has proven to be one of surprises thus far. Upstairs from here, there is additional seating, and a message book. A word from the owner: “HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE FINAL DAYS OF AMAROUT WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN SIGNING ON FOR A MEMBERSHIP WITH US TODAY?”
This entirely explains the music and immaculate vibes.
While on my way to this section of the house, I discovered another door, which we’ll venture through now.
This is the final room in these final words during these final days of Amaurot, and this is breathtaking. Carpets of flowers cover the entire floor, and in this room there are two floors. On the second floor, there’s even a river and bridge to cross over. This room is covered head to toe in plant life, and even the seating and lights are kept in theme with mushroom stools and glowing flower lamps. Waterfalls adorn the walls and leave a strong, tranquil note to leave on.
Thank you for joining us on a fun journey through the housing district in our first Tumblr edition of The Prancing Moogle. Of course, thank you to the house owner and the Failing Upwards Free Company for letting The Prancing Moogle write about a work of art such as their estate. Well done to their designer, Chanpelle! Please look forward to more from The Prancing Moogle this month!

Adashicember 2018
Day: 2 - First Meeting [masterpost will be made after all days are finished]
Summary: These are my contributions to Adashicember 2018!!! Tags and rating will be updated as I finish the prompts. I hope you enjoy the adventures of Space Dad and Earth Dad!!
AO3 // FANFIC
Chapter Summary: Sooo just like the first one I rewrote this like four or five times going back and forth with whether doing a classmate thing or try writing out my frat boy!Shiro idea, but yeah those didn't work. Then my sister said that I was going to be an aunt and BAM!!! INSPIRATION!!!!! But then I got a cold and started my rounds of family Christmas's and just now got to write it.... Anyway, I still have my cold so that's why it's so short and I'm really sorry about that. But, I really hope you like it!!!!
“Alright gentlemen, everything looks in order. Just give me a few minutes and I’ll be right back. And again congratulations.”
The woman left them alone in the room. The ticking from the clock on the was becoming deafening and the anticipation was killing them.
Adam and Shiro were both sitting next to each other in a waiting room that had toys and other brightly colored things scattered all over the place. Adam was seated back in his seat; his ankle resting on his knee and rested his head against the wall as he counted the taunting ticks. Shiro on the other was the image of stress. He was bent forward with his elbows on his knees and bouncing one of his feet, his shoulders tensing with every tick he hears.
The sudden touch on his back made Shiro jump and snap his head up. Adam started scratching his back between his shoulder blades, not seeming to be surprised by Shiro’s reaction.
“Calm down Takashi,” Adam said calmly while still silently counting the ticks from the clock.
“She’s been gone forever. What if something went wrong? What if she doesn’t want to see us?”
“Takashi, Adam breathed out as a way to calm his husband. “The caseworker’s only been gone for three minutes. She has to file our paperwork first and then she’ll come back. Don’t worry.”
“But I am worrying.” Shiro sat and turned in his seat to face Adam. “What if something happens? We’ve been trying to make this happen for years and it just seems a little too good to be true that nothing has gone wrong yet.”
“That’s because it’s finally going to happen this time.”
Adam reached over to grab Shiro’s left hand and started playing the gold band around his finger.
Adam chuckled to himself. “I’m actually surprised that you’re nervous about this. I would’ve thought that I would be the nervous wreck since you’ve had experience with all this with practically raising Keith.”
“Wait, you’re not nervous?”
“I’m terrified.”
Adam terrified, now that was a first for Shiro. He was usually the rock in the relationship who would always rationalized everything whenever Shiro started to stress.
“I’ve never done something like this before. I’m scared that even with all our planning something is going to go wrong. But I’m ready for when that happens and know that we’re just going to have to roll with it and see what tomorrow brings. Kind of like how I felt when we got married.” Adam looked at the ring around Shiro’s finger and continued to spin it around his finger to help distract him from his own worries. “I wasn’t sure that we were going to be allowed to make it official, hell I wasn’t even sure if we would be able to find a venue and everything to make the ceremony happen. But we did and it all worked out and here we are starting our next chapter together.”
Shiro looked at him, his eyes and shoulders seeming to soften. Then his true fears started to creep to the front of his mind and he started to worry again.
“What if I scare her?”
Even though he wore a prosthetic most of the time, Shiro still saw the looks he got when passing observant people on the street. It had been three years since his accident and being medically discharged from the military and he was finally able to say that his missing arm didn’t bother him anymore, but that was until he saw that it made others look at him differently. Those times would make him self-confidence.
Adam cupped the back of Shiro’s neck and pulled him forward so that their foreheads could touch.
“You’re not going to scare her. She’s going to see you as someone with so much love to give and give that love right back.”
Shiro took a deep breath and tried to settle himself and his fears.
“I love you Adam. What would I do without you?”
Adam chuckled softly to himself. “You would worry yourself to death.” He then gave Shiro a quick peck on his forehead. “We got this and as long as we’re together we can do anything.”
The click from the door knob snapped the two apart.
“Are you two ready to meet your new addition?” The caseworker that they had spoken with before and had left them for what felt like forever asked as she poked her head through the door.
Both Adam and Shiro stood up from their seats, Adam still holding on to Shiro’s hand and squeezing it for dear life now, showing his nerves a bit so that Shiro wouldn’t feel so alone.
The woman opened the door all the way and walked back into the waiting room. Behind her walked in another woman in scrub like clothing and carrying a small infant, about 1-year-old give or take, on her hip. The child had big green eyes and thin curly brown hair that was tied up in pigtails. Her cheeks were rosy red, and her eyes were puffy, a sign that she had been recently crying. She was wearing a pair of black leggings with white polka-dots on them and a red t-shirt. She rested her head on the caretaker’s shoulder and just looked around the room while chewing on her fingers to help calm herself down.
“Adam, Shiro, meet your daughter. Emma Shirogane-Ward.”
They were speechless. The woman had called the child their daughter. Their daughter. Their daughter! After years of trying to get approval from numerous adoption agencies, they were finally parents. Their clasp hands were basically going numb at this point from both squeezing each other’s hand so hard.
The caretaker stepped closer and bounced Emma lightly in her arms so that she would pick up her head. “She just woke up so she’s a little clingy right now. Do either of you want to hold her?”
She instantly looked over at Shiro and motioned for him to take Emma out of her arms.
“Oh! I uh, I don’t know if I should,” Shiro panicked. He really didn’t want to upset her. Or scare her with his prosthetic. “I don’t want to rush her.”
“Nonsense. We played the videos you sent us for her every day. She knows you two.”
The care taker then pulled the infant off her hip and held her out for Shiro, basically not giving him a choice to not grab her. Shiro took his daughter form the caretaker and instinctively let her sit on his good arm and braced her with his prosthetic hand. She looked at him for what felt like forever, it was the first time that a child’s stare terrified Shiro to his bone. She then turned around to see what was touching her back, and then pulled Shiro’s prosthetic hand off her to look at hit. The plastic and metal combination were cold and foreign to her and Shiro started to worry that she wouldn’t like it. In an instant, his suspicions were cut when Emma grabbed at one of the fingers of the prosthetic, put her fingers back in her mouth, and laid her head on Shiro’s shoulder so she could go back to sleep.
A hand lightly squeezed Shiro’s shoulder and he looked over at Adam.
“Told you she wouldn’t be scared.” He then kissed Shiro’s cheek and then their daughters head.

Unspoken Attraction [Shiro x Reader]
Requested by anon: “Can I request a shiro x reader soulmate au where they get their first words said to each other on their wrist but shiro doesn't have one so he grows up thinking he doesn't have a soulmate but he meets this girl in a diner and says something and she just goes wide eyed and turns out she had those words but she's mute so that's why he didn't have any? And just kinda sad then v v fluffy? Thank you in advance if you choose this 😭💗 -🐞“
A/N: I really love this idea! I’ve been looking forward to writing it!!
________
Soulmates. Something everyone was supposed to have. Their perfect match, their other half. The person created specifically for them. Something Shiro longed for, but knew he’d never find.
You see, you find your soulmate when their first words said to you match the ones inscribed on your wrist. Everyone had some sort of inscription, whether it a regular phrase or some strange sentence.
It was something Shiro lacked. Born with out a single word delicately written on his wrist in the most beautiful cursive.
Honestly, all of his friends felt terrible about it. Even feeling guilty when they met their own soulmate. Everyone had found theirs: Keith, Lance, Hunk, Pidge, Matt, Allura, Coran. Everyone had their soulmate by their side, each a match made in heaven.
You’d think after everything they all sacrificed. Especially Shiro, the universe would cut him a break. They always tried to get him away, trying to keep his mind off it. But it didn’t help that their soulmates always were around, serving as a reminder to Shiro’s blank wrist.
Having taken Shiro out this night, he sat at the bar alone. Of course a lot of people didn’t end up with their soulmates. Some refused to believe in it, or lost them in some unforeseen tragedy. It wasn’t like Shiro didn’t have a chance to meet someone, but it wouldn’t be the same.
And, no one really had heard of a person with no inscription whatsoever.
A sigh escaped his lips as he used his metal prosthetic to fiddle with the bottle in front of him. “What’s got you down?” The bartender asked standing in front of him.
Shiro looked up to see a tall woman, “Nothing just hungry, can I get my bill?”
The bartender nodded before getting it from the register. Shiro pulled out enough to pay the bill and a tip before making his leave. Not telling the others who were enjoying themselves.
He shoved his hands in his coat pockets as he walked under the street lamps. The neon lights of an old 80s themed diner catching his attention.
‘Well I am hungry’ he thought before pushing the door open. A bell dinging to alert the workers of his presence. There were a few tables in the diner but none at the counter. Deciding to sit there since he was on his own.
After sitting he saw a beautiful young woman, around his age, come from in the kitchen. You smiled kindly at him and waved, not uttering a word.
Though he noticed how your eyes land on his arm. He smiled, “Yeah I know, strange prosthetic right?” chuckling as he lifted his arm in the air.
He noticed as your eyes widen and stare at him. Raising an eyebrow he asked, “Is something the matter?” concern laced in his tone.
Quickly shaking your head, you set down your pen and pad before pulling your sleeve up to reveal cursive writing on your wrist, matching the words he just effortlessly spoke. Smiling while showing it to him.
Shiro was awestruck upon reading the beautiful lettering. “I don’t understand, why don’t I have an inscription? If you’re my soulmate then...?” He trailed off, feeling both giddy and confused.
Your smile faded upon the question. You pointed to your throat before shaking your head. Tilting his head in confusion before coming to the realization, “You’re mute?” It being both a question and a statement.
You nodded, a frown on your lips.
“Hey don’t feel bad. I know what it’s like to have a disability” gesturing to his arm once more. Making your feel a bit more comforted.
“Just one question, how do you normally communicate? Sign language?”
You nodded, eagerly sighing ‘Do you know it?’ Hope in your heart.
“I’m sorry I don’t know what you just signed, but I’m willing to learn it. You are my soulmate after all.” He smiled. It was gorgeous, making blood rush to your cheeks.
“I’m Takashi Shirogane, but normally I go by Shiro” he offered you a hand. Shaking it before quickly scribbling down on your notepad.
“Nice to finally meet you, I’m [F/n] [L/n]” it read, he found your handwriting beautiful. Almost like it reflected what your voice would sound like.
“[F/n], it’s a beautiful name.” Seeing a blush spread across the scar on his nose. You wondered what it could be from. “Well, [F/n], would you like to go get something to eat sometime?” He wore the same gorgeous smile.
Sheepishly you smiled as well, before looking down to hide your blush. You tucked a strand of hair behind your ear before nodding. Quickly writing down, “I’d love to”

Do you think Amami and Shirogane might have some sort of connection? According to Amami's FTEs he has 12 sisters (most of them are actually step-sisters) and all of them are missing for some reason. And when we take Tsumugi to the love hotel it's revealed she's in love with her step brother. Also, if I'm not mistaken, didn't Ouma make a DR1 reference in ch3 and said he thought Amami might be related to the mastermind?
This is an interesting question! It’s impossible to know forsure of course but at most I would say…it’s a possibility, to be sure? Amamidefinitely has 12 sisters according to his FTEs as you said, and what’s more, Ibelieve it’s also confirmed they’re not all blood-related to him necessarily. The fact that Tsumugi mentions her step-brother in her love hotel scene alsoseems like an interesting fact for her to bring up, moreso since it’s somethingthat never actually comes up in her regular FTEs.
The problem is how much of this information can be taken atface value, as well as how much of it was meant seriously. As with most in-gamebackstories, it’s uncertain whether Amami’s siblings actually exist in realityor whether they were something engineered—I personally am inclined to thinkthey do, however, since I think most of the “important people” that each of thecharacters remember were definitely based on real people they were close to,rather than entirely made up. The best lies are the ones with some truth tothem, after all.
But there’s also the problem of Amami’s sisters being kindof meant as a joke reference. Amami himself is a likely reference to thecharacter Amatsuka Youtarou from the series “Baby Princess,” who has 19 sistersand keeps getting into shenanigans with them/losing them from time to time/etc.While it’s clear that Amami’s character goes deeper than this (obviously he isn’tmeant to just be a comic relief character, and he has his own sets ofmotivations, objectives, etc.), the reference with the sisters still feelsmostly played for comic relief in his last FTE with Saihara, particularly as hehad only just gotten Saihara to agree to helping him find what he assumed wouldbe one missing sister.
It’s possible that they decided to make this rather comedicreference something more plot-relevant, but again, it’s hard to tell. There’salso the fact that Tsumugi in her love hotel scene states that her stepbrother “sharesthe same surname” as her, which makes it perhaps unlikely that she’s actuallytalking about Amami.
But the difficult thing here is that while in her love hotelscene, she certainly is still going by the name “Tsumugi Shirogane,” we don’tactually know if this is her real name outside of the killing game, or if anyof the characters’ names are real or not. If there is a possibility that theyhave other names separate from their in-game personas, then I do think it’spossible they could still be related and share the same surname in actuality…butthat’s also assuming Tsumugi even hasan actual stepbrother and this also wasn’t some “scenario” engineered for her “idealfantasy” per se.
As you can see, it’s really hard to know what can be takenas 100% certain in this kind of scenario, or what was just meant as a jokereference and not something to be read into too much! For now I’d say thepossibility exists, although it’s probably a bit unlikely. Were there actuallya connection between the two of them, I believe more clues would’ve beenpresented about it in-game—but even when Amami’s video message and lab arediscovered, absolutely nothing about his relationship with his sisters or theringleader was ever really touched on, suggesting that perhaps it was ratherirrelevant.
Ouma suggests Amami could be “related to the ringleader” inChapter 3 as a dr1 reference, but he’s mostly lampshading the wholeMukuro-Junko twist where the ringleader had a twin and that’s how they got awaywith things. Since the motive for that chapter was a “transfer student” whowould be “revived from the dead,” the characters were considering reviving Amamibecause of how much information he knew. While they wondered about how Monokumamight revive a dead person back to life, Ouma suggested the twin theory verywryly as a distinct possibility if Amami had had any sort of twin who wasactually running the show from behind the scenes.
But this possibility is pretty clearly ruled out in laterchapters, and even Ouma himself clearly doesn’t seem to have really suspectedthat that was the case, since he was much more suspicious of the othersurvivors around him. A Junko-like secret ringleader working from the shadows justwouldn’t work in ndrv3, and such a theory gets discounted even further down theline when Tsumugi tries to bring it back up with “Kaede’s twin sister” inChapter 6.
Anyway, this would be perhaps an interesting headcanon or AUidea! I wouldn’t discount the possibility entirely, but I’d hesitate to saythat it “must be true” until we actually know more solid information aboutTsumugi or Amami. In the (probably likely) scenario that Kodaka ever decides towrite a DR: Amami spinoff novel I wouldn’t be surprised if his 12 sisters gettouched on somewhat, so that’s something to look forward to. But this was areally interesting question and possibility to consider, thank you anon!
