Isn't it possible that KBCS is just a fan roleplay blog made by some kid, inspired by Ronaldo's blog?

It’s possible, the Ronaldo timeline is suspicious to me though:

RW airs and Jane catches Ronaldo with Jenny.

Ronaldo posts an upset post about crying on brooding hill.

Someone on KBCS says “I should send him a message to cheer him up”

Same day, Ronaldo then posts on KBCW a screenshot of their submission and his response.

Submission and not ask may be why he capped it, but KBCW doesn’t do this for any of the audience interaction in the blog’s history - they replied to a bunch of asks though.

Because of the screencap, the blog’s name is large and visible at the top of the post, and it’s similar to Ronaldo’s.

That plus the lore info - like KBCW connecting koalas im The New Lars to body swapping & asking if Rose could do it, and then Ronaldo connecting Koala Princess to Jungle moon, as well as KBCW calling attention to Jane + HIMITSU and then Himitsu + dogcopter being associated like Jane is associated with Dogcopter in Lion 2

Given that I think it’s legit. I’ve been a proponent of Rose is Lion for so long based on the same exact lore these blogs were talking about and the Easter eggs in the show itself check out, but I’m open to being wrong too. I really need to do a Jane post for tumblr so people can see the Jane lore better at least...I’ll try to post something about that part of it soon.

hey, first of all, I just want to say that having read through your entire rose is lion 2020 tag, i love the theory. it just fits together so well! Rose's character arc, lion's weirdness, etc. but do you think it'll actually happen in the show? cuz I feel like, with only 10 episodes left, there just won't be enough time to explore the consequences of her revealing herself, yknow? and if she is lion(and shy Rose) and she reveals herself, what do you think the ending will be like?

Thanks!! If you ever wanna talk Rose meta hmu. I find it fascinating how much seems to point to this theory. And I agree, it all seems to line up too neatly to not be deliberate. I do think it’ll happen in the show, but I agree with you. Based on Future alone, they wouldn’t have included Rose Buds and Volleyball so early if her identity change weren’t going to be relevant. We’ll get enough explicit info to put the pieces together just before she reveals herself and some kind of denouement afterwards, probably tied with another character or characters’ story - my best guess is either Greg, who Rose loved and we know the least about, or Connie, who is closest to Rose and Steven. (The last big Rose reveal spanned Can’t Go Back - A Single Pale Rose - Now We’re Only Falling Apart, even though those episodes weren’t solely dedicated to her)

My best guess for timing rn is that we’ll get some more hints in In Dreams that link their astral projection/dream abilities, and maybe whichever episode Steven is seeing CYM flashbacks. Rose could be saved for the finale, but I expect her sooner. IMO if they do it just before, it doesn’t feel like it came out of nowhere during the finale, and it’d be a good trigger for Steven to escalate emotionally, giving us time to process before seeing his story through. She’s been a core part of the narrative for so long that I hope it happens that way to do it justice lol.

I think the role she’ll play in the ending is likely to be a) Steven gets to express anger at her, and by extension all the adults in his life, b) Steven gets to hear she loves and accepts him unconditionally firsthand, c) maybe a bittersweet montage and/or song of Rose watching Steven grow up as part of the farewell to SU (and/or a Rose version of “Now We’re Only Falling Apart”, where we see her POV when making some decisions in the series or during key moments - I’ve heard rumors of Rose decides to have Steven, something with baby Amethyst, but there are certain scenes in the series that would be neat to have insight on too, like when Lion follows Steven home or the events of Rose’s Scabbard) d) Steven gets to put down the pink diamond shit and look forward to his future and figuring out what he wants, having confronted the monster of his fears and insecurities

I imagine we’re basically just going to see her reveal herself and have a heart to heart with Steven - with at most the initial reactions of the core group and maybe a couple meaningful convo scenes either from the past or in response to her being revealed (Connie, Greg, Pearl, Amethyst, Garnet, maybe Bismuth?) Kinda guessing most of the Rose aftermath stuff will probably be left up to us to imagine after Steven’s story comes to a close. I assume she’ll stay on Earth and either live with them at the beach house or in Little Homeworld.
