Mimar Sinan (Architect)
Born: April 15, 1489 ------- Died: July 17, 1588
Sinan was born in Kaisariya, Anatolia. When Sinan was young, he heard about Leonardo da Vinci visiting the capital city between 1502 and 1505. With time, he became fascinated by the Italian master. He was the chief architect of the Ottoman Empire, as well as a civil engineer. He is a very important piece of the Ottoman Empire. He has constructed more than 300 structures along with other projects he did. Sinan was the architect of at least 374 structures which included 92 mosques; 52 small mosques; 55 schools of theology; 7 schools for Koran reciters; 20 mausoleums; 17 public kitchens; 3 hospitals; 6 aqueducts; 10 bridges; 20 caravansaries; 36 palaces and mansions; 8 vaults; and 48 baths. Among all his structures he has one piece which he titles as his masterpiece. This is the Selimiye Mosque located in Edirne (the white mosque from the images above). But his most famous structure is the Suleymaniye Mosque he made (darker image).

Diabetes and its Association with Peripheral Arterial Disease
Diabetes and its Association with Peripheral Arterial Disease in Biomedical Journal of Scientific & Technical Research
https://biomedres.us/fulltexts/BJSTR.MS.ID.006052.php
Diabetes is one of the most common diseases that are more prevalent in Pakistan. One of the major vascular complications of diabetes is peripheral arterial disease (PAD), which is associated with peripheral vascular damage and cardiovascular diseases. This complication enhances the risk of disability due to amputation of lower extremity in the patients suffering from diabetes. The early diabetic diagnosis and with therapy of the peripheral arterial disease, patients can minimize the risks of microvascular and macrovascular damage and resulting peripheral arterial disease. Thus, this step can help to reduce the cardiovascular complications and risks of amputation of extremity in such patients. The early diagnosis includes the assessment of blood sugar level. HBA1c is one of the standard markers to check the diabetes status in patients. The clinical presentations including polydipsia, polyuria and increased thirst also indicate towards diabetes susceptibility. The development of diabetes complications including neuropathy, myopathy, retinopathy, nephropathy and peripheral arterial disease point towards the sustained increased level of blood sugar (glucose) and condition is known as uncontrolled diabetes. The development of PAD can be prevented by early recognition of disease onset and by controlling the blood sugar level.
