I almost dont even wanna begin to post all the drawpile shit i’ve done this year with my partner. But also? IT’S MOST OF WHAT I DID SO!!??!!

For clarity anything with the dumpstermaggots tag is an AU in which my characters Andrew n Wes meet my partner’s @onigmos character’s Scotty and Janko (and a bunch of others but they basically only appear as punchlines lmao) 

I’m too exhausted to explain any story that may exist behind these, and im not gonna post ALL of them, but here and there i’ll throw it down.

A lot of the art I did in 2021 and 2022 has been me in a state of comorbid recovery and despair over everything that happened to me for...the last 10 years tbh. I shouldn’t be embarrassed of anything I draw, there’s no point, but I often am and I often feel like I let myself and everyone around me down when I feel so wretched and fucked up that art is inaccessible to me or I’m unable to work on it how I’d like so...some of this shit is rough but oh the fuck well, you know?

[47/100] 02.03.2021 ::: I’ve been writing more paleogeography for my thesis’ introduction and it is slowly but surely coming along just fine. I also looked into python some more to draw a geological time scale. After a lot of struggle, I got a result that came close to what I wanted, but just not quite.

I then switched back to R and ggplot, using the same data, but now that I had looked at the plotting problem through the eyes of (a) python 🐍, I managed to do the job in R.

I also found this wonderful package that transcribes ggplots into tikZ figures and that basically solves my problem of wanting the latex font in my plots without having to define it all the time.

I had a 2h+ zoom call with two of my friends and then I called my parents (to say happy bday) and talked for another hour or two with them. THEN I got back to work. I had a lot of caffeine and got a few things done.

Chúc mừng năm mới!!! Haha, bữa đợt tết ấp ủ kể chuyện mấy ngày đầu năm mà mải hóng phốt (1 bể phốt khiến mình băn khoăn từ năm ngoái nhưng mãi mới có người khui ra) nên lọ serum EGCG của T.O chả có tác dụng gì cả. Đêm đêm nằm đọc từng comment, chờ đợi từng câu chuyện của những người đã là nạn-nhân, chưa kịp là nạn-nhân. Rút ra kết luận, thế giới này hoàn toàn không phù hợp với 1 đứa chỉ có sự giản đơn như mình! Mình vẫn tiếp tục hít drama bổ phổi nhưng có phần bớt chuyên tâm hơn vì giờ cũng cố gắng tự tạo công ăn việc làm cho bản thân. Nhưng, về cơ bản mấy chuyện phốt phiếc đấy cũng thú vị lắm ớ. Thấy các chị chia sẻ kinh nghiệm sống, kiến thức và học hỏi, nhặt nhạnh thêm nhiều thứ. Rút ra kết luận, có định lấy ai đó làm ánh mặt trời thì cứ công thức “tên abc + phốt” :)) ra gì thì ra, không ra gì thì cứ KEEP CALM & CHỜ PHỐT!!!

Chán đời ko cơ chứ, cái đoạn này hôm trước đang dạt dào cảm xúc vì vừa get high do tà tưa cacao kem trứng 70% đường, lại còn bonus thêm bữa teabreak latte cuối giờ làm việc thì bị lag tới tận hôm nay mới hiện ra bản draft. Còn đếch gì là cảm hứng để kể chuyện nữa, haizzz!

Thôi, hẹn 1 bữa cao trào khác để thêm mắm dặm muối cho mấy mẩu chuyện công ty bé tí ti vậy! Mình cũng thôi, đừng nghĩ bản thân là kẻ hèn nhát vì mới thử việc có 1 tháng đã nghỉ. “Vấn đề không phải cái hố quá sâu mà là tay mình ngắn". Sự thật đã là vậy thì đâu có gì mà phải buồn nữa!

When the snake bites Jamie and he asks Roger to "tell Claire I meant it," I am convinced he is referring to his pledge to wait 200 years in purgatory for her. He's not just reminding her he loves her; she knows that. He's reminding her he will remain faithful until they can be reunited after her death. That's where I think DG intends to take their story in Book 10. Thoughts?

Anon, this is a fascinating take on that scene!

I always thought that Jamie was referring to his conversation with Claire in Voyager - see below. But perhaps it means what you're referencing. Or perhaps both!

Here's the quote from Voyager:
