Weekend workouts

I didn't post yesterday because I stayed over at a friend's house, we wanted to bake Christmas cookies and apple strudle ☺️

So yesterday we went bouldering again, I didn't do anything impressive or the like physically. But I tried my first route with a big jump since the accident. It went surprisingly well, didn't manage to grab the next stone but this wasn't even my goal. I'm just glad I dared to jump^^

Today I went to the gym with another friend

Treadmill with 1% altitude at 8,5km/h for 8mins, 9km/h for 2mins and 11km/h for 2 mins

Hanging knee raises 12 reps 3 sets

Back extensions 12 reps 2 sets, 10kg 12 reps 1 set

Kettelbell twists 12kg 12 reps 3 sets each side

Suspended Mountain climbers 12 reps 3 sets

Knee crunches 12 reps 3 sets

The one thing I wanted the most, was someone willing to save me.

Someone holding me and telling me that everything was going to be ok.

And the realization that no one was going to do that for me, that I am the only one able to truly save myself was devastating.

I think I will never be able to fully save myself from that darkness but every day I just keep on breathing and keep on walking and maybe someday I won’t want to die anymore.

And I hope that I am the one that saved me. And no one else.

Yesterday wasn't great

My friend was back though so that was good.

Biology was rubbish, but I actually went to maths! Which takes me from having been in 1 week's worth of lessons in 7 weeks, to 2 week's worth of lessons in 8 weeks. We did various triangle rule things, then moved on to adding/subtracting/multiplying polynomials, and then my favourite thing ever, algebraic long division! I love it so much. The text book goes up to x^4, but I did x^10 ones. Working on the whiteboard at the front is so much better, because I can wipe everything off when I'm done.

My friend is getting a dog that's going to be coming to college. They're getting it on Tuesday evening, and originally the plan was that their mum would take them, the dog, and trainer into college on Thursday for a meeting and to familiarise the dog with the building before Christmas. That's all changed, and now my friend and the dog are going in the taxi on Thursday morning. I had planned to go in the taxi, see P, and then leave before lunch. I can't do that anymore, because I cannot go in the taxi with the dog. My friend's tutor also told them that there's no reason they couldn't come in on Friday.

I told F I wouldn't be in after Tuesday and she said she'd speak to P. Who knows what's going to happen. I'm really dreading the holidays. I hate college but I hate home more. I got through half term by having a countdown to the first day back, but I can't do that for the Christmas holidays at the moment, because my current plans don't include going back in January because dog.

Oddendale Double Recumbent Stone Circle, near Shap, Cumbria, 15.12.18.

The hail and freezing conditions made this a bleak but enticing prospect today. Moments after photographing the site, heavy rain sent me in quick retreat. This lovely prehistoric double circle has some beautiful stones covered in lichens and moss.
