If any of my lady followers are looking to get into the video game industry (and have twitter) go check out the #1reasonmentors tag. Quite a few women (and a couple men) from writers to level designers to producers to stuff in between are offering up their services to mentor or even just talk to women wanting to break into the industry or that may be feeling harassed.
If you don't have a twitter or not seeing someone you think might be able to help you in the hashtage, check out GameMentorOnline, an online mentoring site created by Women in Games International for both men and women looking for professional insight and guidance.

Here's a list aggregating all the talented game developers and designers in the Washington DC metro area, Virginia and Maryland who have volunteered to help with mentoring women getting into the game industry (in response to this). Also listed are people who are seeking mentors.
I'd also encourage those seeking mentorship to come out to the local free meetups hosted by the DC chapter of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA DC). Most updates and events for IGDA DC can be found here. For additional networking support, check out the Network and Local Studios pages at CapitalGames.
For a list of developers outside of the DC metro area, see @pixelsprite's ever-growing list of #1reasonmentors around the world.
